Topic: Brannon plays what he believes is a sad and disturbing audio of a man by the name of Pastor Kevin Swanson shouting about how Leviticus calls for the killing of homosexuals. Then he seems to hook Leviticus to Romans 1 and take Romans 1 out of context to talk about how homosexuals deserve physical death. Yet, it the clips going viral, he completely leaves out the list of the sexually immoral, those who covet, are envious, gossipers, boasters, proud, haters of God, violent, disobedient to parents, etc. Romans 1 is talking about the eternal, spiritual death and wrath of God that is on all sinners that reject God and are given over. Brannon explains why he believes Swanson is a terrible witness and embarrassment to Biblical Christians. America is not Israel and we are not under their laws and thus the church today does not do carry out physical punishments towards anyone. The article explains why many self-described evangelicals are tired of the call to Christianize the nation. If by "christianize" the definition is the attempt at moralizing, bullying in an attempt to turn America into a theocracy, or Christian nation then this actually might be a good thing.
