Evangelical Neo-Marxists of the 1980s Go Mainstream. (Part 3). In 1985 a group of Evangelical Free Church pastors stood up and made issue with Tony Campolo speaking to their church youth at Youth Congress. Yet today do we have enough informed and bold pastors today to oppose the false teaching and Neo-Marxism of Tony Campolo, Ron Sider, Tim Keller, David Platt, Matt Chandler and others. Apparently not since David Platt this past week became the new teacher on the historic program known as Back to the Bible. Topic: Shockingly some well known Bible teachers are now sharing the stage with Neo-Calvinists that are preaching Marxism and they seem completely oblivious to that of which they are giving theological cover. Topic: In the 1970s and 1980s Neo-Marxist Jim Wallis and Tony Campolo and Ron Sider were known for promoting liberation theology (Marxism merged with Christianity) and they were NOT embraced by the majority of evangelical leaders but were in fact opposed. But today in 2018, Jim Wallis & Tony Campolo have gone mainstream and proof positive is the popularity of Neo-Marxist pastors like Tim Keller. Topic: Tony Campolo has written in a very hostile manner about dispensationalists. Topic: Tony Campolo believed that those that were anti-communist were part of the forces of darkness. Topic: We take your calls.
