Topic: Brannon starts the program talking about the power of music mixed with the moving image. Today we are seeing more and more people manipulated by the news, commercials, movies, television programs, and documentaries. A common theme is carefully picked music with carefully chosen images and masking terms that conceal the truth and make evil look good. How can you help your family and friends spot manipulation and lies? Topic: The media seemed all to eager to tell us that the Washington Mall shooter that killed numerous people over the weekend was hispanic. Sorry liberal media, turns out the shooter is reportedly from Turkey and a Muslim. Topic: Should people refuse to shop and go to places where legal, concealed permits are prohibited? Topic: Young people are said to be organizing protests in North Dakota against the oil pipeline. Yet, one college student Brannon spoke to admitted knowing nothing about the issue but wanted in on the protest anyway. Why are so many young people eager to take part in such protests? What will be the consequences of their actions that they then declare to be unjust? Topic: The Washington Post features an article by a student discussing how he was brought to tears by seeing the Black Lives Matter Flag raised next to the American flag on his university campus. Why does this further tell us about the young people of today? Topic: We take your calls.
