MAGNA CARTA & THE NEW YEAR

In a special one-hour program, Chris discusses the historic Magna Carta, considered the foundation of civil liberty in Western Civilization. The great charter was based on Biblical principles and was set forth by the same English churchman (Stephen Langton) who was responsible for creating the chapter divisions in our Bibles. Perhaps the most controversial element of the charter was the right of resistance, or the right to take up arms against the king if he refused to obey the law. Moreover, the rights were declared to be in perpetuity, to last forever. These principles are hot topics of discussion as we enter the New Year and hear continual warnings of approaching tyranny on the horizon, with Democrats threatening our national sovereignty and also the right to bear arms (something Magna Carta protects, since the people must be armed in order to resist the king). Will Socialism continue to threaten our Republic? And will the situation in Virginia lead the country to a new revolution?
