CHRISTIANITY & THE MAGNA CARTA Chris discusses the 800th anniversary of the Magna Carta, which was signed on June 15, 1215. The document is considered an important part of the foundation of the free world, having been created for the purpose of restraining the arbitrary powers of government. But what is sometimes overlooked is the role of Christianity in generating the document, and the importance of the Biblical principle that all men (including kings and courts) are subject to the eternal laws of God.
