PROTESTANTISM VS. OBAMA Chris compares our current leadership in America with the history of Protestant heroes who have defended the faith of the true Gospel, using the power of government on behalf of Christian people. The conflicts of the Reformation followed by Rome's Counter Reformation led to the Thirty Years War between Protestants and Catholics across Europe. During this era, Gustavus Adolphus the great Christian king of Sweden would become the champion of the Protestant cause to defend the true Gospel. When fellow believers were threatened with annihilation, Gustavus thwarted the efforts of their enemies and altered the course of history.
