THE STONE OF HELP
Chris discusses some of the conflicts being reported in the news right now, with the 2016 presidential race, stories about voter fraud, election rigging, not to mention warnings about conflict with Russia, and the possibility of World War III.  The potential dangers can be overwhelming, and yet they remind us as believers that our only true help comes from God.  In the Old Testament, the prophet Samuel set up a stone he called "Eben-ezer" -- (the stone of help)
when the Lord had given Israel victory over the Philistines.  The Scripture tells us: "... the Lord your God ye shall fear; and He shall deliver you out of the hand of all your enemies." (2 Kings 17:39)
