AMERICA: A CHRISTIAN NATION? Chris tackles the ongoing debate about the history of our country, this time focusing on a new article by USA Today writer, Cal Thomas who has said: "Let's get something straight. America has never been a 'Christian nation.'" Is he correct? Was there ever a time in our history where we defined ourselves as a Christian nation with a Bible based values system? Or was the presence of non-Christian behavior (such as slavery) proof that our country could not have been Christian? Was the American Revolution fought so that we might get prayer and the Bible out of the public school system? And should believers today (like Kim Davis in Kentucky) continue to stand for the laws of God when the secular powers impose an ungodly standard?
