Crosstalk: April 11, 2017

Jim began this edition of Crosstalk with news that President Trump saw Neil Gorsuch sworn in as a Supreme Court justice today. The president is predicting that Gorsuch will go down as one of the truly great justices in the history of the court.

Gorsuch is 49 years old, the youngest nominee since Clarence Thomas who was 43 when he was confirmed in 1991.

The remainder of the program was an opportunity for Crosstalk listeners to send a message to President Trump, asking him to handle whatever specific issues were on their minds. A copy of this program will be sent to the president and included the following requests and encouragements:

--Stay in D.C. Work there and not in Florida.
--Stay the course.
--I'm praying for you and would you please consider that the Muslim Brotherhood is
a terrorist group.
--Recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel and move the embassy there.
--Stop abortions in America.
--Cancel the 500 million dollars given to Planned Parenthood by the federal government.
--Seek God's will and guidance concerning your decisions.
--Do something about Islamic jihadi terrorist camps in America.
--Do something for the infrastructure and youth in the inner cities.
--Support coal miners.
--Have Congress repeal Obamacare and send it back to the states.
--Get the U.S. out of the U.N. and get the U.N. out of the U.S.

...and many more.
