Here’s a selection of headlines from this week’s edition of the ‘Round-Up’:

–The House Judiciary Committee voted to adopt 2 articles of impeachment against President Trump, capping a contentious, 3 day session that Republicans panned as a ‘kangaroo court.’  The committee adopted both articles alleging abuse of power and obstruction of Congress on a party line vote.

–Democrats tried to accuse President Trump of bribery in the House Judiciary Committee though they declined to include bribery among the two articles of impeachment.

–Democratic Representative Cedric Richmond was caught watching a golf tournament on the laptop in front of him during impeachment hearings.

–Jim presented audio from Congressman Jim Jordan of Ohio who spoke at the House Judiciary Committee markup meeting where he explained the lengths that Democrats have gone through to impeach President Trump.

–Representative Karen Bass revealed that House Democrats are open to impeaching President Trump again if he wins the election in 2020.

–The White House is now saying if there’s a Senate impeachment trial they may like to call Joe Biden as a witness.  When asked, Biden indicated that this would amount to diversion because it’s the president who’s the one that’s committed impeachable crimes.

–In a stunning act of anti-Semitism, 6 people, including a police officer, were killed via a gun battle inside a kosher grocery store in Jersey City, New Jersey.

–Representative Rashida Tlaib blamed white supremacy for the shooting rampage in New Jersey.  She later deleted the ‘tweet.’

–President Trump signed an executive order aiming to reduce incidents of anti-Semitism on college campuses in the U.S.  His executive order classified the Jewish people as an ethnic group in the U.S. rather than just a religious group. Under this classification universities must respond to anti-Semitic discrimination or risk opening themselves up to a loss of federal funding under Title VI.

–9 in 10 orthodox Jews now say they support President Trump.

–Arab assailants pulled a rabbi out of his car in central Israel and beat him in front of his children.

–An Israeli man was beaten unconscious while traveling in the Paris subway system.

–The U.S. Navy says flight training has been suspended for about 175 Saudi students.

–Less than 3 months after Israel’s last general election, the Knesset prepared Wednesday to dissolve itself and send the nation to its third election in less than a year.

–A Texas judge has been removed from the case of James Younger whose mother intended to publicly change his gender against the wishes of his father.

–The Hallmark Channel has begun running ads from a wedding planning company featuring a lesbian wedding.

–A teacher at a British school instructed 6 year old children to write gay love letters to promote diversity.  

–A Chicago photographer promoting cross-dressing among boys offered young boys the opportunity to have their pictures taken dressed up as their favorite princess. 

–Disney has introduced the first teen gay romance to their ‘High School Musical’ franchise.

–The Boy Scouts of American is experiencing another change as all girl ‘Boy’ Scout troops are emerging.
