Crosstalk: January 19, 2016

Jim began by noting that the Daily Signal reported in 2015 that there were more Islamist inspired terror attacks and plots within the U.S. than the years 2012, 2013 and 2014 combined. In spite of this we have an administration and a Congress that has dulled its ears to the threat that Islam poses to America. After all, it's just a religion of peace. Or is it? Joining Jim to discuss this issue was Robert Spencer. Robert is the director of Jihad Watch. He has led seminars on Islam and jihad for the FBI, the United States Central Command, the United States Army Command and General Staff College and numerous other entities including the Joint Terrorism Task Force. He has been banned by the British government from entering the United Kingdom for the crime of pointing out that Islam has doctrines of violence against unbelievers. He is the Vice President of the American Freedom Defense Initiative and a weekly columnist for PJ Media and FrontPage Magazine. He is the author of 14 books including 'The Truth About Muhammad' and 'The Politically Incorrect Guide to Islam'. According to Robert, ISIS is known as the Islamic State because everything they do is based upon Islam. Everything they do you can find justification for within Islamic texts and teachings. Proof of this is shown by the fact that through worldwide recruitment they now have 30,000 foreign Muslims in Iraq and Syria fighting with ISIS. So to say that Islam has nothing to do with ISIS is to cut off our ability to deal with it. Can the Islamic State destroy the U.S.? Robert believes they may not be able to do that entirely, however, this is something that they do explicitly state. What they can do and are working toward is to completely destabilize the U.S. to the point that they disrupt our law enforcement, intelligence and government apparatus. The idea is to overwhelm our nation with numerous terror plots to the point that we collapse. Jim had Robert answer a number of questions and deal with numerous other issues related to this topic including: --How does he see the future of Europe as it relates to Islam's control? --Why isn't our government able to 'connect the dots' on this issue of Islam and terrorism? --An Islamic State manual that teaches Muslims to pretend to be Christians. --Two Virginia Muslims have been charged with attempting to support ISIS. Why are we seeing such interest by some individuals to join this group? --Are we tracking those who join ISIS and then come back? --An Islamist is running 140 taxpayer funded charter schools in 26 American states. Who is running these and what is his agenda? --How have school textbook publishers been affected by the multicultural imperative, especially as it pertains to Islam? --What about the intimidation of American businesses and industry to become Shariah compliant? What part does the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) have to do with this? --Has any community been successful in stopping a mosque from being formed? --Are there a lot of people who claim to be followers of Islam but have no clue regarding what the Qur'an really teaches?
