Dr. E. Calvin Beisner is the founder and national spokesman of the Cornwall Alliance for the Stewardship of Creation. He is an interdisciplinary scholar specializing on the application of biblical worldview, theology and ethics to economics, environmental stewardship, political philosophy, public policy and apologetics. Dr. Beisner has testified as an expert witness on the theology, ethics, science and economics of climate change policy before the U.S. Senate Environment and Public Works Committee and the Energy and Environment Subcommittee of the U.S. House of Representatives Committee on Energy and Commerce. This broadcast began with Jim mentioning how the U.N. is showing scary videos about climate change disasters that could happen in 2050. Dr. Beisner noted that what's so ironic about this is that if they're showing the videos now, the disasters they're predicting have to be already happening which means they're not the result of any climate change that happens between now and 2050.
