The race for the presidency has been going on for about a year. As candidates continue to travel across the nation, heavy emphasis has been placed on Iowa which has its caucus this Monday with New Hampshire to follow. While candidates are naturally vocal on many issues, what gets buried at times is their views on moral related issues. That is why Jim brought in Peter LaBarbera, the founder and president of American's for Truth About Homosexuality for a look beyond the typical issues of economics and foreign policy. Peter believes life and marriage are important to God. Psalm 139 speaks to the issue of life while Genesis communicates that God made us male and female. Nonetheless, in the culture we are witnessing an incredible assault on biblical values and it's our responsibility to live out the biblical truth on these issues. Jim and Peter took a look at the major candidates from both major parties and communicated their positions as they pertain to moral issues such as pro-life/abortion, marriage, the LGBT movement and items related to that topic such as sexual orientation laws. On the Democratic side, candidates discussed included Hillary Clinton, Martin O'Malley and Bernie Sanders. On the Republican side Jim and Peter looked at Jeb Bush, Ben Carson, Chris Christie, Ted Cruz, Donald Trump, Carly Fiorina, Mike Huckabee, John Kasich, Rand Paul, Marco Rubio and Rick Santorum.
