In Isaiah 5:20 it says, ‘Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!’

As Jim noted, we are seeing this take place all around us.  If you stand for biblical marriage, you are branded as a hater, a bigot or intolerant.  He cited an example that came in the form of a voicemail received by VCY America. An individual was outraged that the network had the audacity to say on the air that God calls homosexuality an abomination.  The caller indicated that he’d do whatever he could to bring the ministry down. Where’s the love and tolerance that this side so often speaks of in such a response?

This Crosstalk looked at this phenomenon through a message preached this past Sunday by Pastor Rodney Schuler, the pastor of Calvary Baptist Church in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin.  He’s also host of the radio program, ‘Calvary Today.’

Pastor Schuler’s message, ‘Right Priorities in a World Gone Wrong,’ is based upon Hebrews 13.  Using this and other portions of Scripture, he communicates why men and women are to honor God’s plan for one-man/one-woman marriage, why unbiblical lifestyle alternatives are to be avoided no matter how popular they are, and how biblical contentment affects this issue.
