Vic based his comments on portions of Scripture such as James chapter 3 as he looked at how important it is to seek God's help in making sure our lips and tongues are carefully managed. This involves being aware of the attitudes and styles of speech that can form such as pride, vanity, fault finding, sarcasm, having to sound cool, condescension and vindictiveness.
