Bryan Field is a common, ordinary person in his mid-20’s, a software developer, a musician, a violinist who plays with an orchestra, and a church member, but one who wants to make a difference for life.

In this specific case, his cause is concern for the unborn.  Why? Bryan was very direct and simply noted the fact that one-fourth of his generation is missing.  Also, for him it’s not an overpopulation issue as God said to be fruitful and multiply.

For everyone who dies from firearm homicide, 63 die from abortion.  For Bryan, this points out the hypocrisy of pro-life politicians who want to restrict gun use to restrict firearm homicides.  He also noted that we can debate whether that’s effective or not yet they aren’t doing anything to reduce abortions.

July 2 Life is a coordinated letter writing campaign utilizing physical envelope letters that allows everyone to become involved because, unlike someone who might go to the national March for Life, Bryan’s idea doesn’t involve a large amount of travel expense/time.  In other words, the commitment level is paper, an envelope, a postage stamp and the time it takes to get to your post office.

Bryan went on to explain why this could generate 3 million letters (1% of the U.S. population) every year.  He also went into detail explaining why he believes the pro-abortion community cannot duplicate the same kind of effort from their side.

The July 2 Life effort is tied-in to HR616, the Life at Conception Act.  As the name indicates, this act gives unborn children the constitutional right to live at the point of conception.

Again, the concept is simple.  Go to www.july2life.com where you’ll find a button to print off a letter (or pen your own), sign your name to it, and on July 2nd, send it in.
