Jim opened this annual Thanksgiving edition of Crosstalk with a call to praise the Lord by reading Psalm 100.
In contrast, he noted how it's easy to grumble and complain as we go through life. We'll complain about politics, the weather and other situations. Scripture, however, reminds us, 'By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving praise (thanks) to his name.' (Hebrews 13:15)
Jim revealed those things he's thankful for and then referred listeners to Psalm 26:7: 'That I may publish with the voice of thanksgiving, and tell of all thy wondrous works.'
It's in that spirit that he opened the phone lines to give Crosstalk listeners the opportunity to do the same by telling the public what they are thankful for.
