Crosstalk: November 8, 2016

Jim began this broadcast by reviewing some recent news items related to Hillary Clinton, President Obama and tomorrow's election.

--FBI Director James Comey has once again closed the investigation into Hillary Clinton's e-mail policies. There were so many e-mails involved in the investigation that the FBI had to have gone through them at a rate faster than one per second since the announcement of this latest investigation came down last Friday.

--James Comey is now facing a backlash from both parties for his handling of the Clinton investigation which casts a cloud over his future.

--In new e-mails that came forth from WikiLeaks, Clinton directed her maid to print out classified materials.

--North Carolina Republican vice-presidential nominee Mike Pence told New Hampshire residents that mishandling classified information is a crime.

--Former House Intelligence Committee Chairman Pete Hoekstra said that he's 100% confident that Clinton's secret private e-mail server was hacked by foreign enemies.

--In a videotaped interview, President Obama was caught allegedly encouraging illegals to vote and promising no repercussions if they did.

--The Department of Justice is sending 500 election observers to 67 jurisdictions in 28 states tomorrow.

Jim stressed that if there's a race where you can't in good conscience make a choice, keep in mind that there are other races that are part of your ballot. For example:

--One-third of the U.S. Senate will be voted on and the outcome of that will determine which party has control. They are constitutionally in charge of ratifying treaties and to give their advice and consent regarding judicial nominees for the U.S. Supreme Court.

--All 435 seats in Congress are up for election.

--Governors, attorney generals and state legislatures in numerous states are up for election.

--Referendums will show up on ballots as well in the form of questions regarding recreational and medical marijuana use, end-of-life legislation, carbon emission tax and sales tax reduction legislation, 2nd Amendment relates issues, religious issues, English language only in public schools and much more.
