Crosstalk: October 19, 2015

This Crosstalk expanded on yesterday's topic regarding social media and the Internet with specific emphasis on gossip. Vic based his comments on portions of Scripture such as James chapter 3 as he looked at how important it is to seek God's help in making sure our lips and tongues are carefully managed. This involves being aware of the attitudes and styles of speech that can form such as pride, vanity, fault finding, sarcasm, having to sound cool, condescension and vindictiveness. Vic also noted how this is important even for Christian broadcasters who must have the attitude of a weeping prophet and not the attitude of a judge and jury. This can only be done with the Spirit of God living in us. It's the simplicity of the Spirit controlled temperament that must be prayed for.
