Usama Dakdok is President of the Straightway of Grace Ministry. He is a Christian who was born in Egypt, taught Islam, and studied for a university degree in Egypt which included Sharia. Arabic is his native language. He discovered that commonly used English translations of the Qur’an were full of misrepresentations that minimized its violent teachings as contained in the Arabic.

On this program a number if common misunderstandings about Islam were examined, and corrected by the words of the Qur'an itself, as well as the Hadith (the sayings of Muhammad), and statements by Muslim Imams and theologians today.

Among the misconceptions:

--Is Islam a Religion of Peace? No—it is not a religion, but rather a cult that is a mix of government and religion—mostly government. And No—it is not about Peace, as the Qur'an repeatedly teaches Muslims to carry out violence, or Jihad, against anyone who is not a Muslim

--Are Muslims simply good neighbors? No—they are not allowed to make friends of Jews or Christians (people of the Book) unless they are afraid of them because the Muslims are in the minority, which will end when Islam gains the upper hand and can carry out the ultimate command of Jihad against those same neighbors.

--Is Isis the same as Islam? Yes—in fact, Isis is so strict that they “dot every “i” and cross every “t” in the Qur'an”, including the beheading of infidels (anyone, especially a man, who is not a Muslim), and the enslaving and sexual molestation and forced marriages for children and women who are not Muslim.

--Is Islam good for women? No—it is just the opposite, as females are mistreated from birth to death, starting with female circumcision for infant girls, and continuing with severe restrictions on their conduct, including forbidding education, driving, going out unaccompanied by a husband, covering in public of the entire body except for the eyes (any of which can be punished by death, or honor killing), and virtual slavery in marriage, where the husband has the right to beat, mistreat, and divorce his wife, while she has no say in any of this.

Also discussed was the lack of knowledge of Islam or the Qur'an by most Americans, including Christians and even Christian pastors, which has allowed Muslims to infiltrate, to build hundreds of mosques or “Islamic Centers”, often welcomed and aided by these uninformed Christians.
