Crosstalk: September 12, 2016
Shahram Hadian was born in Iran into a Muslim family. His father was a Lieutenant Colonel in the Army and his mother an elementary school teacher. His parents had a sense of urgency to leave Iran in 1978 and moved to the United States. While in the states, Shahram committed his life to Jesus Christ. This brought immediate disapproval from his family and his culture. Shahram, now a former Muslim, has begun the TIL Project. The Truth in Love Project exposes the true goal of Islam and the threat of Shariah in America. He also exposes the lie of Chrislam, the false claim that Christianity and Islam have a common god and a common word. He ran for the office of Governor in Washington State in 2012. He has served as a police officer and a pastor.
As the events of 9/11 unfolded 15 years ago, Shahram said that he was at work and that shock and disbelief were the first things that he felt. At the same time he also realized that this was the reality of a nation that has turned its back on God. He also felt in his spirit that the gates are down; that our nation, that felt it's impenetrable, has now experienced a horrific event.
He noted how in the subsequent weeks, there was much conversation about God among people. Unfortunately that seemed to go away. Jim added that churches were seen to be filled to capacity, special prayer meetings took place and billboards and marquees were filled with sentiments such as 'God Bless America'. Unfortunately within weeks that fervor declined and since then, spiritually we've sunk far.
Shahram communicated that 9/11 was a moment of humility where God brought us to our knees and that this was the start of a potential revival but instead there were signs of defiance. Some proclaimed that we would rebuild. No mention was given concerning repentance or God at which point it became a matter of our will. In the end, Shahram believes that in the last 15 years, what we've seen is that the very instrument that was used to attack us is becoming the instrument that is taking over. That, of course, is the instrument of Islam.
Overall, instead of turning to God, we turned away from him. The result is that many people are supportive of a false god, the god of Islam.
Jim pointed out that since 9/11, numerous attacks have taken place. There have been shootings, knifings and even beheadings. In the wake of these, the administration has denied that there's any connection to Islam. We're told that the perpetrators have a distorted view of Islam or that they're mentally unstable.
Shahram responded by noting this is part of the delusion and denial that is part of the hand of judgment when we reject God but not in the sense that he caused or created 9/11. So it's either that they're delusional in denying the enemy we face (Islam) or they're (particularly this administration) complicit because Shahram believes we have a Muslim president.
This has resulted in even law enforcement having their hands tied as it pertains to being able to deal with these threats as we see blood being shed in our streets. After these incidents, were not allowed to communicate that Islam is the cause.
Jim revealed that hours before the broadcast, Crosstalk received an alert from the White House calling for national days of prayer and remembrance. The alert said the following: 'On September 11th, a group of small and hateful minds conspired to threaten the very fiber of our country, seeking to break the American spirit and destroy our way of life.' Later it said, 'As we mourn on this most solemn anniversary let us also reflect on the freedom and tolerance that define this great nation.' Jim pointed to the lack of any mention of Islam and how the president is part of the problem as to where we are today in regard to that religion.
Shahram believes that this shows how President Obama is giving cover to Islam. Proof is that when he took office in 2009 and went to Egypt and gave his famous speech at al-Azhar University before members of the Muslim Brotherhood, he said that his job was basically to defend and protect Islam against those who come against it. He has shown this by his numerous appointments and how they've sought, not to go after those Muslims who are trying to kill us, but instead to prosecute those who allegedly speak anti-Muslim rhetoric.
Shahram believes that this administration has completely gutted our national security and counter-terrorism apparatus and being able to even identify who the bad guys are because they can't even say the word, 'Islam'.
As this program continues, Jim and Shahram discuss the president's nomination of the first Muslim for the federal bench; what the future holds for Clinton staffer Huma Abedin should Clinton win the White House; what we have not learned since 9/11 and much more.
