We are heading toward the conclusion of the book of Zechariah on this week’s edition of “Encounter God’s Truth” with Dr. John Whitcomb. This book includes many intricate prophecies given to God’s people in Judah following their return from exile in Babylon—that exile being described in the books of Jeremiah, Ezekiel and Daniel, and the return being documented in the book of Ezra. This glorious closing chapter of Zechariah deals with the events surrounding the second coming of Jesus Christ to earth to rule from the throne of David for a thousand years.
