There has in recent days been reports that fragments of the Dead Sea Scrolls are fake. The first report came from a news story that the Bible Museum in Washington, DC, had discovered that five of their Dead Sea Scroll fragments are fake. Today on PTIB Jimmy DeYoung has as his Broadcast Partner Dr Randal Price who is an Archaeologist, who has his own dig at Qumran, on the shores of the Dead Sea in Israel, near the area where the Dead Sea Scrolls were found in 1947. Jimmy and Randy will discuss Randy's dig; what they are actually doing at the dig; the details on the fake fragments; and Randy's opinion on the authenticity of the earliest Dead Sea Scrolls that were found by an Arab boy in the caves in Qumran.
