The country and especially the media have been in quite the frenzy this past week. In this week's boralogue, John goes back to the predictions he made about the media after the 2016 election and shows how we are reliving those moments now. There is a shock post-Mueller report but John predicts that the media will continue to behave as it has moving forward.
Far left liberals are pushing many issues that go against America's founding documents. Constitutional law attorney Jenna Ellis (www.washingtonexaminer.com) joins us to discuss the merits of the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact as well as packing the Supreme Court. Liberals keep moving the goalposts, slowly building popularity among their narratives.
One-worlders are at it again, this time using climate to further their cause. Alex Newman (www.thenewamerican.com), Foreign Correspondent for The New American, examines the UN's push for global governance as well as pushback from many scientists, along with President Trump, who are taking on the climate alarmists.
A few states are foreclosing on property owners who owe back taxes and keeping the proceeds from the sale. Christina Martin (www.pacificlegal.org), Attorney at Pacific Legal Foundation describes how one of her clients lost his home to this practice and compares it to the problems with civil asset forfeiture.
John finishes up this week reading a century-old poem by Rudyard Kipling that mentions empty promises, like those of modern day socialists, will never pan out because at some point, reality becomes real and the fantasy is just that: a fantasy.
John’s quote of the week:
"What we have been told repeatedly is the need for the radical transformation of America. 'What does that mean?' is the first thing you have to ask. You have to learn how to read what they're telling you – then you'll know where you're going. And with radical transformation, it's a socialist, idealized government where we have equality of outcome, not equality of opportunity."
