In order to reform, a country and its leaders must be willing and ready to do so.  In this week's boralogue, John looks at the failure of socialism in Venezuela and its creeping rise in America.  Reform is needed in both countries but how that shakes out, who will relentlessly fight against it, and whether or not it will be successful remains to be seen.  Reformation is a double-edged sword: hopefully America will choose the correct way to do it.

We have asked before if Islam can be reformed.  This week, we seek the answer from a former Iranian Muslim who has converted to Christianity.  Shahram Hadian (www.tilproject.com), Founder of the Truth in Love Project, is back with us to discuss the history of Islam, ways to combat those who shout, 'Islamaphobe!', and how Islam is actually reforming – just backward to its origins.

Fresh from his trip to Pennsylvania, John welcomes his fellow conference presenter Pastor Robert Johnessee (www.foi.org) who is the Church Ministries Representative at the Friends of Israel.  Pastor Johnessee recounts his experience with those who are trying to influence the church with PC narratives and how to bridge the gap between two ideological sides.

John finishes up the show this week giving a brief and sobering persecution update.

John’s quote of the week:

"Reformers, even though the need is obvious to many many people, meet tremendous opposition because the system and its corruption have benefited many many people.  Those are the swamp critters and they love the warmth and the rottenness that corruption has brought them.  They are not going to go along with reform."
