It's important in the fight for our freedoms to understand how we arrived at where we are.  In this week's boralogue, John looks at the progression from scholasticism to the Reformation to the freedoms we have today.  Freedom, responsibility, and devotion to God enabled us to gain the prosperity we have.  Academia and the media are trying hard to eradicate these things and it's up to us to understand the battle and fight for what we have.

After further dissecting how we got to this moment of postmodernism, John welcomes Ed Hindson (www.thekingiscoming.com), Dean of the Institute of Biblical Studies at Liberty University, who examines the problems with postmodern thought and the ways in which we can reach out to those who are struggling under this worldview.

John plays a Steel on Steel interview from March 2009 where he spoke with former ambassador to the UN – and our current National Security Advisor – John Bolton about American sovereignty and how the global governance crowd would like to see it vanish.  This interview is just as relevant today as it was ten years ago.

Worldviews guide us in life but those rooted in the truth guide us to the right path.  Writer and Pastor Wallace Henley (www.wallacehenley.net) joins us to discuss how Winston Churchill, with all of his faults and failures, was the right man at the right time in history.  He also emphasizes the importance of worldviews to graduates as they transition from academia to the real world.

John’s quote of the week:

"Tremendous freedom coupled with tremendous responsibility coupled with an intense devotion to God and to His Word – those three things enabled freedom in the West.  If you take away any one of those three, you don't have the prosperity that the West was able to achieve."
