John Loeffler: May 4, 2015
Christine Lagarde of the IMF, President Obama, and Pope Francis are all drooling anthropogenic global warming bring on the carbon tax! The Vatican hosted a confab this week about global warming. In his boralogue, John highlights the socialist buzz words found in UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moons keynote address at the Vatican. It seems sustainable development is not only the main topic of the speech, it also gets the drool flowing. Well take a look at sustainability this week. When the Soviet Union collapsed and the Berlin Wall came down in 1989, what was a socialist to do? Thank goodness the concept of global warming came along a few years later. And with it came the new, rather vague, concept of sustainability. We welcome to the program Dr. Peter Wood President of the National Association of Scholars, who sheds some light on this popular issue. Several college campuses offer sustainability courses, but is it more about indoctrination and less about education? Its a shame in this country, Peter says, when the institution most dedicated to free speech has become the institution most hostile to free speech. This week, a massive earthquake struck Nepal, killing more than 5,000, injuring twice that many, and toppling thousands of homes and historic buildings. With the casualty numbers sure to rise, Dr. Paul Williams, M.D. author of the emergency preparedness series When All Plan Fail, rejoins us to talk about the human toll and what we can do to help. Youve heard us mention on the program that the United States is slowly becoming an oligarchic dictatorship. Ellen Brown, Founder and Senior Advisor of the Public Banking Institute, discusses what that would look like. She also shows how the Trans Pacific Partnership is one of the catalysts pushing us toward this oligarchy. Join us for our weekly Section 6 intelligence briefing, featuring analysis by John on important stories highlighting emerging geopolitical trends around the world. This week, John takes an extensive look at the rumblings of war on the global chessboard. You can feel it coming.
