John Loeffler: November 28, 2016

What have we learned about the media following the 2016 presidential election?  In this week’s boralogue, John looks at the evolution of media throughout the past few decades and shows why we still have divisions in this country a half century after Martin Luther King Jr. called for an end to them.  The rules of division set by the media and the elites have been broken and we don’t have to play by those rules anymore.  We can unite!

How dangerous is ICANN and its hold over the Internet?  Patrick Wood (www.technocracy.news), Publisher of Technocracy.News rejoins the program to show that when you control website and personal data, you control information.  ICANN is looking for a home and the UN is sitting at the top of their list of places to nest.  Will a tax on information be just around the corner?

The GOP will soon control the White House and both houses of Congress but is that the best party combination between executive and legislative?  Jill Gonzalez (www.wallethub.com), Analyst for WalletHub looks at how different political party permutations between POTUS and Congress have historically affected the economy.

We have heard that Muslims and Christians and Jews once lived in harmony in Spain.  Dario Fernandez Morera (www.northwestern.edu), Professor at Northwestern University examines the truth behind this myth and discusses current laws against Christians and the West’s inability to fight them due to political correctness.

John’s quote of the week:

“Why are we still evaluating things on the basis of race?  We’re supposed to be beyond this 50 or 60 years later.  Because some of those people liked keeping the divisions going for their own benefit.  But their parameters are now collapsing like a defeated kingdom at the end of an epic movie.”

Our intelligence brief Section 6 is on hiatus this week for Thanksgiving but will be back next week with more analysis by John on important stories highlighting emerging geopolitical trends around the world.
