Good evening and welcome to the Worldview Report.
Headline USA reports that Sedition Hunters, the shadowy group of online investigators that use controversial facial-recognition technology to help the FBI track down January 6 protestors, have written a letter for Attorney General Merrick Garland and U.S. Attorney Matthew Graves—urging them to arrest thousands of additional J6 protestors before the 2024 election.
Sedition Hunters lobbied Garland in a letter obtained and published Tuesday by leftist news outlet Raw Story. The letter had not been delivered yet at the time Raw Story published its article.
The letter stated:
“It appears that the department and the FBI are not on pace to arrest an alarmingly large percentage [of those] who committed crimes at the Capitol on January 6 but have not been charged yet.”
The author of the letter is reportedly a Sedition Hunter that operates online under the handle @MsTerryMete. She declined to be named because she supposedly fears retaliation from J6ers, and because she worries that she could face retaliation from the federal government if Donald Trump becomes president again, Raw Story reported.
She told the outlet:
“These people have already committed political violence once, and for the more violent offenders to remain un-arrested and face no accountability is a concern to me because it’s an election year — and what’s to stop them from committing political violence again this year?”
According to the article, there are roughly 2,500 people left un-arrested.
Earlier this year, U.S. Attorney Graves signaled that his office would continue arresting Jan. 6 protestors, but the Sedition Hunters criticized him for reducing the rate of arrests.

Just the News reports that the GOP-led House voted to block the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act reauthorization bill on the House floor Wednesday after it passed out of the Rules Committee the day before.
The vote to block the rule providing for House floor consideration of the bill was 228 to 193.
The Reforming Intelligence and Securing America Act would have extended Section 702 of FISA for another five years. Former NSA employee Edward Snowden and other whistleblowers have blamed Section 702 for wholesale warrantless spying on Americans’ communications by their own government.
Former President Trump had posted on Truth Social that the GOP should “kill FISA” shortly before the scheduled vote. Speaker Johnson reacted to Trump's post ahead of the vote.
Johnson said, in a reference to the launch of the Russia collusion probe:
“I look forward to talking with him about it. Here's the thing about FISA, he's not wrong, of course, they abused FISA. These reforms would actually kill the abuses that allowed President Trump's campaign to be spied on.”
Senator Rand Paul of Kentucky applauded the 19 Republicans who voted to block the bill from advancing.

Zero Hedge reports that Infowars founder and host Alex Jones says he plans to sue the CIA following the release of an undercover sting in which an alleged CIA officer claims that the U.S. intelligence community “took his [Jones's] money away” to “chop his legs off.”
The employee, a CIA contracts officer in San Diego named Gavin O'Blennis, tells the undercover journalist: “You can kind of put anyone in jail if you know what to do,” adding “You set ’em up. You create the situation to where they have no choice but to act on their impulse. And once they act on that impulse, some would call that entrapment.”

Military.com is reporting that Israel's foreign minister threatened Wednesday that his country's forces would strike Iran directly if the Islamic Republic launched an attack from its territory against Israel.
His comments came amid heightened tensions between the rival powers following the killings of Iranian generals in a blast at the Iranian consulate in Syria earlier this month.
Israel Katz said in a post on X in both Farsi and Hebrew:
“If Iran attacks from its territory, Israel will respond and attack in Iran.”
Earlier Wednesday, Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei reiterated a promise to retaliate against Israel over the attack on its consulate in Damascus.
Tehran holds Israel responsible for the strike that leveled the building, killing 12 people, including IRGC operatives. Israel has not acknowledged its involvement, though it has been bracing for an Iranian response to the attack, a significant escalation in their long-running shadow war.
The strike killed General Mohammad Reza Zahedi, a senior figure in Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard who led the group's elite force in Lebanon and Syria until 2016. The 11 others who died included six Revolutionary Guard members, four Syrians and a Hezbollah militia member.
Military.com notes that Israel has attacked scores of Iranian-linked targets in Syria over the years with the apparent intent of disrupting arms transfers and other cooperation with Lebanon's Hezbollah, which is backed by Iran. Since the Israel-Hamas war in Gaza began six months ago, there have been near-daily exchanges of fire between Israeli forces and Hezbollah along the Israel-Lebanon border.

Tucker Carlson has enraged many of his conservative followers after posting an interview with an Evangelical Lutheran Church pastor in Bethlehem that blasts Israel for its treatment of Christians.
Robert Spencer posted an article at JihadWatch defending Israel against the accusations, writing:
“In many Muslim countries of the Middle East, the Christian population has been decimated. In Israel, it is rising. Yet Tucker Carlson decides to hit Israel, not any of the Muslim lands where Christians are being persecuted. He is reflecting the noxious spirit of the age.”
The Central Bureau of Statistics has released data on Israel’s Christian community, showing it is growing. Around 187,900 Christians live in Israel, composing 1.9% of the population. This represents 1.3% growth from the year before.
The Christian population has been on the rise for at least the last two years. In 2021, the number of Israeli Christians grew by 1.4% to 182,000, and in 2022, there was about 2% growth to 185,000.
Three-quarters (75.3%) are Arab Christians who make up 6.9% of the total Arab population.
These may not be huge increases but they are significant.
Spencer concludes by writing, “This contrasts with most countries in the Middle East, where Christian populations are declining, and there is ‘horrifying growth’ of Christian persecution. This is according to the organization Open Doors, which puts out an annual World Watch List of where Christians suffer very high or extreme levels of persecution and discrimination for their faith….”

CNN reports that Hamas says it is unable to identify and track down 40 Israeli hostages needed for the first phase of a ceasefire deal, according to an Israeli official and a source familiar with the discussions, raising fears that more hostages may be dead than are publicly known.
The framework that has been laid out by negotiators says that during a first six-week pause in the fighting, Hamas should release 40 of the remaining hostages, including all the women as well as sick and elderly men. In exchange, hundreds of Palestinian prisoners would be released from Israeli prisons.
Hamas has told international mediators it does not have 40 living hostages who match those criteria for release.
According to CNN’s sources, the inability - or unwillingness - of Hamas to tell Israel which hostages would be released, alive, is a major obstacle.
With Hamas appearing to be unable to reach 40 in the proposed categories, Israel has pushed for Hamas to fill out the initial release with younger male hostages, including soldiers, the Israeli official said.
Israel has repeatedly asked for a list of the hostages and their conditions. Hamas has argued it needs a break in the fighting to be able to track down and gather the hostages.
The majority of the almost 100 hostages who remain alive are believed to be male IDF soldiers or men of military-reserve age. Hamas is expected to use them to try to negotiate more significant concessions, including more high-level prisoners and a permanent end to the war, CNN reports.
The more than 250 hostages captured or killed on October 7 are believed to have been spread out among different members and factions of Hamas, as well as other militant groups, gangs and even held by families.
The Israeli prime minister’s office said Wednesday that of the 129 hostages from the October 7 attack currently held, 33 are dead.

Slay News reports that Democrat Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) has called for a reparations program that involves allowing black Americans to be exempt from paying taxes.
Crockett argues for a tax-free system that would put “money back” in the pocket of black Americans.
The Congresswoman explained the idea during an interview where she argued that “you owe for the labor that was stolen.”
Crockett didn’t elaborate on who she feels should “owe for the labor.”
In a video interview shared on X, Crockett said some black people may not support the idea because, in her opinion, a lot of “black folk” are already not paying taxes.

The World Economic Forum is calling on global governments to crack down on citizens expressing “negativity” online.
In a new report, the WEF says members of the public must be censored if they express negativity because the unelected globalist organization is apparently concerned that such behavior could make people “unhappy.”
The Switzerland-based elitist group alleges that negative information online can “lower happiness” levels in people who see it.
In response, the WEF claims that negativity, which it now groups with so-called “disinformation,” must be censored by governments.
The WEF made the call in its new report on declining happiness levels among young people.
The report is accompanied by the WEF’s suggestions on how to make humans happier.
The suggestions include censoring people online and pressuring public compliance with the WEF’s dystopian green agenda. They suggest turning malcontents into climate activists to give them a sense of purpose. Imagine that, raising up an army of young Greta Thunbergs. Isn’t that a cheery thought?
The WEF argues in its report:
“We live in a world where teenagers grapple with a sense of crisis before adulthood; a time when young people, historically beacons of optimism, report lower happiness than their elders…Implementing stricter content regulations and policies that limit the spread of negativity and misinformation is crucial.”

On March 5th, 2024, World Bank Group President, Ajay Banga, and Hans Vestberg, the chairman and CEO of Verizon, were guest panelists at the Global Digital Summit in Washington D.C. They discussed “the power of digital technologies to accelerate poverty reduction on a livable planet and how the public and private sectors can collaborate to accelerate this mission.”
The World Bank added that the summit highlighted forward-thinking perspectives, cutting-edge technologies, and new insights centered on three pillars: (1) Connect, (2) Innovate, and (3) Transform.

Banga began by explaining what the World Bank is all about, and the investments they make; a big one and great point of emphasis in recent years being investing in digital technology.
With the digital landscape transforming so rapidly, Banga believes these new investments are needed for more effective “governance.”
Banga was asked how they should go about pitching their emphasis on governments making deeper and long-term investments to build a sustainable digital framework. He said one of these things includes fomenting “a sense of crisis.”
He said:
“A sense of crisis is your best friend. Never let a crisis go to waste. A sense of crisis is your best friend in getting people to agree to tackle this triangle, along with the enabling tool of technology and the biggest headroom is geopolitics and fractionizing of the global order. That’s why I believe in digital for us.”

Time now for our Worldview Report commentary.
The world could experience multiple untold disasters before the use of Artificial Intelligence weapons comes under proper regulation, according to award-winning scientist and tech pioneer Geoffrey Hinton, who is known in tech circles as the Godfather of AI.
Hinton says AI is quickly becoming more intelligent than people and could soon take over the battlefield. With wars breaking out all over the world, in Ukraine, the Middle East, and potentially the Far East, this is a major concern for humanity.
RT.com reports that the former Google engineer, who quit the company last year, compared the use of AI for military purposes to chemical weapons deployment – warning that “very nasty things” will occur before the global community arrives at a comprehensive agreement comparable to the Geneva Conventions.
“The threat I spoke out about is the existential threat,” Hinton said in an April 9th interview with Irish broadcaster RTE News, emphasizing that “these things will get much more intelligent than us and they will take over.”
The computer scientist highlighted the impact of AI on disinformation and job displacement, and also on weapons of the future.
Hinton warned:
“One of the threats is ‘battle robots’ which will make it much easier for rich countries to wage war on smaller, poorer countries and they are going to be very nasty and I think they are inevitably coming.”
He urged governments to put pressure on major tech companies, especially in California, to conduct in-depth research on the safety of AI technology.
He stated:
“Rather than it being an afterthought, there should be government incentives to ensure companies put a lot of work into safety and some of that is happening now.”
The scientist also highlighted huge benefits that AI can bring to humanity, particularly in healthcare, adding that he does not regret any of his contributions to the technology, the same technology we are now supposed to believe Hinton is afraid will take over the world.
This is all a farce.
One of the so-called benefits of AI in healthcare that Hinton was referring to is the ability to rapidly develop genetically modifying “vaccines” using gene-mapping and synthetic mRNA. So even this so-called benefit Hinton refers to is a fraud. These are not real vaccines and they are not helping to save lives. Quite the opposite, as we’ve documented repeatedly on this broadcast.
Hinton is not alone in trying to play this con game of good tech cop vs. bad tech cop.
Several high-profile tech gurus have warned recently of the potential dangers posed by the unregulated adoption of the very technology that they helped create. Besides Hinton, this group includes Tesla CEO Elon Musk, Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak and Yoshua Bengio, who is considered an AI pioneer for his work on neural networks. All of them signed a letter last year calling for regulation of the AI sector. None of them should be taken seriously, as the solution they are proposing will end up being worse than the problem. Total government regulation of all online information.
That does it for this edition of the Worldview Report. Thanks for watching and supporting this viewer-supported broadcast.
