Brannon Howse: Good evening and welcome to the broadcast. Glad you are with us. We're going to be joined tonight by Congressman Glenn Grothman. We're going to talk about the US Supreme Court decision on affirmative action, some border numbers, and the LGBTQ agenda. Then we're going to talk to Rebecca Walser. She's going to join us tonight. We have a meeting coming up next month, August, the BRICs banking system, something I've been talking about now for ten years. And what are they talking about? Backing their joint currency? Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa, talking about backing their currency with gold and of course, adding in a lot of other countries. Well, this is a big deal, something we should be very concerned about because it is going to be a direct attack on the US dollar. Then we're going to talk to a first time guest. Aaron Spradlin joins us to talk about child trafficking and the movie Sound of Freedom, which is burning up the box office, as I reported in tonight's newscast. Then we're going to be joined by attorney Tom Renz, Some very disturbing documents coming out with the Bank for International Settlements. Have you ever heard of the Bank for International Settlements? Again, something I've been talking about for 15 plus years or more. And that, well, is the central bank of central bankers, the Bank for International Settlements. The Bank for International Settlements. It's the Central Bank of Central Bankers located in Basel, Switzerland. Well, guess what they're talking about, folks. They're talking about the Great Reset and using their power as the central bankers of the Westernized world to usher in the Great Reset. Tom Renz will talk about that along with other things of great importance related to the Covid shots and more. But first, we start off tonight with Congressman Glenn Grothman of the great state of Wisconsin. Congressman, welcome back to the broadcast. If I remember correctly, you're the District 5 or 6. I'm going to say five, right?

Glenn Grothman: Where? Six along Lake Michigan. Wisconsin, along Lake Michigan. Six.

Brannon Howse: Oh, all right. I knew it was 5 or 6. I don't know. Okay. All right. Six even number. All right. Right along Lake Michigan. Well, let's talk about this recent decision by the United States Supreme Court related to affirmative action. They really reversed course a few years ago. They said this was fine. They said this was fine. And now they've reversed course and said, no, this is not acceptable. I guess it shows us the court is not only getting back maybe to the Constitution, but certainly leaning more toward original intent.

Glenn Grothman: Exactly. You know, the last time we visited this Sandra Day O'Connor, who was a rhino, if there ever was a rhino, uh, shaved, despite being appointed by Ronald Reagan, got things wrong, continue to this affirmative action stuff. And this affirmative action has been around for a long time. You know, it never ceases to amaze me when I run into young people. How uneducated they are. Affirmative action, which even though this court case just applied to college admissions, is also used in government employment, is used in employment of people who work for a company that does business with the government, and it's used for government contracting. So this principle is used so many different places. It's all wrong. We should judge people as individuals. We shouldn't be giving preferences on this person or that person. Now, the young people don't know that affirmative action really kicked into gear. It was around a little bit before that, but it was kicked into gear by Lyndon Johnson in 1965. So we've had it now for over 55 years, applying in all these different areas of our life. And of course, with affirmative action comes a bureaucracy that has to justify their jobs and these people, these equity bureaucrats. I'm running all over the place telling people how racist America is, telling people how you need help because of your background.

Glenn Grothman: And of course, that's ridiculous here in America today. I wonder how many of your listeners know the ethnic group that makes the most money? And of course, money is not the only or most important measurement of success, but the ethnic group that makes the most money is Indian from the country of India and know quite a few people from India myself, who are wildly successful. The people I know who came here from India, didn't even know English when they arrived here, but they are very successful. I think the second most successful group is people from the Philippines, you know, And you go beyond that. People from Japan, people from Cuba. Thomas Sowell once wrote that children of immigrants from the West Indies are. Made more than the average American as well. So, so many immigrants come here and do well. It's almost comical that anybody would say we had to interfere with businesses or individuals or universities had to interfere to give one group a preference, even though their scores were not as good as another group, which is what affirmative action is about.

Brannon Howse: Yeah, it's really a form of racism. I think it's saying that certain people cannot achieve without a leg up or we have to lower the standard or suppress somebody else because the other folks can't compete. And yet we know we know that's not true historically. We know that's not true. We have, as you just mentioned, people coming from Asia that are surpassing white Americans. But no one runs around talking about, you know, Indian privilege or Asian privilege. Yet many of those folks come to America within one generation. Their families are very successful. They do very well educationally. They do very well financially. Education is a big deal. They know how to manage money. They work, they work hard. They save they they take advantage of the American dream. And yet here we are saying that somehow we have to lower the standard for so called minorities in America when so-called minorities from overseas come here and thrive just fine. And you and I both know, Congressman, that before Lyndon Johnson and the Great Society, we had black banks and we had black insurance companies and we had black entrepreneurs. And then we started expanding the welfare state and deliberately trying to destroy people so they could create this race war. There's a great book written by a former communist. He was the highest-ranking black communist in America, Manning Johnson. He wrote a book called Color, Communism and Common Sense. He flipped. And in fact, I'm sure if you go into your congressional records, you'll find all kinds of testimonies of him as a former communist warning. And he was saying, look, this is by design set up to say that the system is inherently racist. And he went on to talk about what he called the black Marxist.

Brannon Howse: And these were individuals that were tapped, sent over in the early 1917 period, the early 1900s, sent to the former Soviet Union, to the Kremlin to be studied and trained to come back as agitators in America. And he says that when the black community in Harlem got together and said, we're going to start a hospital, they called the hospital there in Harlem. It was called the butcher shop because it was so bad. And the black leaders of Harlem got together and they said, you know what? We're going to start a hospital. That's good. And we're going to employ Jewish doctors and white doctors and black doctors, and it'll create racial harmony and we can succeed and we can show our young people we can succeed. You have Catholic hospitals, you have Jewish hospitals. Why not a black hospital? Well, Manning Johnson, the former communist, said no sooner had they done that than what he called the black reds came rushing in and said, if you do that, you're promoting the narrative of segregation. And they were destroyed. And and he tells the story after one after another of a black group of entrepreneurs wanting to start a community and have private property and a nice community and build equity. And as soon as those guys talked about that, what he called the black Reds came rushing in to say, you can't do that yourself, segregating. Well, wait a minute. You have Jewish people that live over here. You have German people over here. You have Polish people over here. Why can't the black community not get together and build a neighborhood or build a hospital? And he showed how this communist agenda has helped to destroy entrepreneurship in the black community.

Glenn Grothman: Well, I think the Great Society, Lyndon Johnson's programs in the in the 60s were devastating to Americans, all Americans, but disproportionately damaging to black Americans. That's true. All the incentives not to form an old-fashioned family, all the incentives to keep the man out of the household. And, you know, that's what the progressives want, though. They view the family as a unit that operates outside of the government sphere. And I think that's one of the reasons why the Democrat Party has been for such a strong welfare state, a welfare state to form a family unit without the man. And it's, of course, been a very devastating thing. But when you go back to affirmative action, I think the thing to take away here is this is something that has been around since the 1960s. And by the way, President Biden is trying to expand it. I think outside of your show, your listeners may not know that they want to add a new group to be given preferences over the native-born, and that is North Africans or Middle Easterners. Right now, if you come here from Algeria, if you come here from Syria, you're just a regular person. But Joe Biden wants to say you as well or put upon minority and deserve preferences, which of course, is not right on a variety of fronts. First of all, originally affirmative action was felt to a certain degree to be justified by maybe wrongs to the black community, people from North Africa, or the Middle East.

Glenn Grothman: They were not wronged if they just come here tomorrow. But Joe Biden wants to give preferences there. And secondly, you have another problem in which. People who went to determine so-called minorities or people who need help. You describe yourself. Are you? Describe yourself. So as a result, if you're one-quarter Peruvian, say you can say I'm a minority. If I'm one-quarter Indian, I'm a minority, which is kind of ridiculous. But that's part of the system as well. And another reason why it should be taken down. You will notice, by the way, that it's more and more people become part of the system where even in America. So they couldn't have been hurt by discrimination. People who just come here, like I said, from, say, Syria, um, they weren't harmed. So then what they do is they fall back on the idea that there is a diversity benefit, but there's no guarantee that people are diverse. So again, if I'm one-quarter Peruvian and I've never been to Peru and never spoke a word of Spanish, how could I say I'm bringing the Peruvian viewpoint to the table? But that's what these promoters of affirmative action would tell you. What we should do is we should get rid of all the bureaucrats that run these programs and do a better job of educating our young people as to how well immigrants from all around the world have already done.

Brannon Howse: Absolutely. Let's talk in our remaining moments about the border numbers real quick. What are you what are the latest border numbers that you've been briefed on?

Glenn Grothman: Well, it continues to go up, in part because President Biden is, in my opinion, doing something else unconstitutional. But he has a separate way to let in people from Haiti or Cuba or Nicaragua. And as a result, we've just got the numbers for the ninth month in this calendar year, which would have been May and for the ninth month in a row, we hit record highs in the number of immigrants coming into this country. The mainstream media did a bad job of covering it in the first place and has been largely quiet. And quite frankly, some of the conservative media has been quiet, too. But don't be quiet. Just because the problem keeps getting worse is no reason not to talk about it. We just had the ninth month in a row, the record high number of immigrants, at least in recent times, um, in May. And of course, we're waiting now for the June numbers, which will probably be pretty high as well. But in May the 9th month in a row of record high numbers for that month.

Brannon Howse: Wow. Okay, quickly, the LGBTQ agenda. This just doesn't quit, does it? This agenda is becoming more and more and more aggressive.

Glenn Grothman: Well, right. And it's being promoted by very liberal politicians. They happen to when he was on a break here, I got my new driver's license. I noticed in the state of Wisconsin, we have a Democrat governor under the American flag and the Department of Motor Vehicles. We have the rainbow flag, of course, promoting this lifestyle. I recently met with someone, a trans person, who was transitioning, sadly, and got her breasts cut off at age 15. Horrific. Um, but they were doing this in Europe and they've kind of backed off because they realize now that this in most cases is not a genetic thing. They saw a big increase in the number of so-called transgenders. Where did this increase come from? The mainstream media and to a lesser extent, our education system, which you see on the Internet, is promoting it as a cool thing to do. And when you're entertainment medium or your news medium promotes the idea of transgender, what happens? Young people want to be cool, and maybe look for friends to adopt this lifestyle. You know, there are so many peripheral problems that come with transgender things like should boys play on the girl's basketball team, that sort of thing.

Glenn Grothman: But we wouldn't have to worry about all these problems if we weren't pushing it so much in the first place. And I feel sorry for these people even after the transition, you know? You know, they'd say, Oh, you're a boy. You're a boy. But even after you transition, you still have to take drugs to feel like a boy or feel like a girl, which shows how unnatural it is. And it's a shame that so many of these young people are roped into this. I would say that the from the gal I talked to, um. It is. Do not encourage people. Don't be mean, but don't say, Oh, I'd be so proud of you if you would do this. Because by saying things like that, Oh, you must be so happy or you must be so proud. You are egging people on to changing their sex, something that in the vast majority is something that in many, many cases you would certainly regret.

Brannon Howse: Absolutely. I don't know if you're aware of this, Congressman, but in Michigan now, it's passed the House. It's headed to the Senate where I'm told it will pass the Senate and the governor of Michigan will sign it. The attorney general will back it and prosecute based on it. And that is hate crime legislation. And I had an attorney on here two weeks ago who ran for attorney general in Michigan. And as an attorney, I asked him, would you review this bill and give us a report? He did. Two weeks ago. And he said it is perhaps the most horrific anti-freedom of speech, freedom of religion legislation he has ever read in America. The bill, as it reads now and it's slated to pass the Senate and become law in Michigan. Could allow a lot of what you and I are talking about right now could cause you and me to be prosecuted for what we just said? If a sexual minority feels that we have hurt their feelings and it allows for a criminal prosecution, civil penalties, and mandatory government reeducation for individuals that are charged. And so I guess since we broadcast into Michigan, you and I could be indicted if this becomes law and we keep talking this way and we heard a sexual minorities feelings you and I might be in trouble. Can you believe, as a US congressman who takes an oath on the Bible to uphold the Constitution that this is happening in America?

Glenn Grothman: Well, what they're saying is if you read, say, some verses of the Bible on your show that you can be prosecuted. In other words, they're going all the way where? Communist China, where communist Russia went, where they are banning reading parts of the Bible, which is what, unfortunately, some of us have been warning people about. That's what progressives stand for. And it's just ridiculous, you know because I disagree with you. You hurt my feelings. And therefore, we're going to ban your speech and we're going to put you in jail and maybe. Fine, you as well.

Brannon Howse: It's so hard to believe this is happening, by the way.

Glenn Grothman: Look, we gotta talk about that again in the future because we have people in elected positions in this country who, in your example, almost want to criminalize Christianity. There's no other way to put it.

Brannon Howse: Absolutely. Absolutely. I agree. 110%. Congressman Glenn Grothman, what's your website for folks that want to find out about you?

Glenn Grothman: Glenngrothman.com. Two N's in Glenn.

Brannon Howse: That's easy enough. Glenngrothman.com. Glenngrothman.com. The sixth District of Wisconsin along the beautiful shoreline of Lake Superior. As always, Congressman, thank you for representing the Judeo-Christian worldview and the constitutional position here in Washington. Thank you, Congressman.
