Good evening and welcome to the Worldview Report.

We have lots of breaking news tonight.

Investigative journalist Lara Logan is reporting that the destruction of the Francis Scott Key Bridge in Baltimore Harbor on Tuesday by a Singapore-flagged commercial ship was a “Black Swan event.”

Logan cites multiple intelligence sources for her reporting and said the U.S. intelligence community is aware that the crashing of the bridge was an attack, not an accident.

The U.S. government immediately came out with a statement that the attack was not related to terrorism.

Logan stated on her X account:

“The Baltimore bridge collapse was an ‘absolutely brilliant strategic attack’ on US critical infrastructure – most likely cyber – & our intel agencies know it. In information warfare terms, they just divided the US along the Mason Dixon line exactly like the Civil War. Second busiest strategic roadway in the nation for hazardous material now down for 4-5 years – which is how long they say it will take to recover.”

Logan explained that the bridge was built specifically to move hazardous material – fuel, diesel, propane gas, nitrogen, highly flammable materials, chemicals and oversized cargo that cannot fit in the tunnels. And that critical supply-chain infrastructure has now been “crippled.”

Make no mistake, Logan wrote, “this was an extraordinary attack in terms of planning, timing & execution. The two critical components on that bridge are the two load-bearing pylons on each end, closest to the shore. They are bigger, thicker and deeper than anything else.  These are the anchor points and they knew that hitting either one of them would be a fatal wound to the integrity of the bridge. Half a mile of bridge went in the river – likely you will have to build a new one.”

She said structural destruction was likely absolute, due to an “Attack perfectly targeted.”

The timing of the attack is also noteworthy, following several U.S./NATO attacks on Russian critical infrastructure, including the Nordstream 2 gas pipeline in September 2022, and the missile attack on the Russian bridge to Crimea last year. Now, just last Friday, Russia was attacked by four Muslim terrorists that Russian authorities believe were working under the guise of Islam to kill 143 Russian civilians at a concert hall outside of Moscow. While the U.S. says the terror attack was strictly an act of Islamic terrorism conducted by ISIS, the public comments of Russian President Vladimir Putin and other Russian leaders strongly suggest that they are convinced the attack was orchestrated by the Ukrainian national intelligence services, which is a wholly owned subsidiary of the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency and British MI6.

So, it’s very possible, we may never know for sure, but it’s possible that Tuesday’s bridge collapsing event was not an accident, like we are being told by our government and its corporate media lackeys, but was instead a retaliatory strike by Russia or China or other affiliated actor for what they believe was a bloody terrorist attack by U.S.-controlled forces in Ukraine.

The Gateway Pundit reports that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has canceled a planned meeting between an Israeli delegation and the Biden administration, saying the U.S. has changed its policy toward Israel.

The move stems from a United Nations action on Monday.

The UN Security Council demanded “an immediate ceasefire” in Gaza “for the month of Ramadan respected by all parties leading to a lasting sustainable ceasefire,” Jewish Insider reported.

The resolution also called for “the immediate and unconditional release of all hostages.”

But — and this is the sticking point — the hostage release was not a condition of the ceasefire. The U.S. could have vetoed the resolution, but instead abstained from the vote.

As a result, Netanyahu canceled the White House meeting scheduled for this week, citing “the change in the American stance.”

The meeting would have included several Israeli officials, including Strategic Affairs Minister Ron Dermer and national security adviser Tzachi Hanegbi.

Netanyahu’s office stated that by failing to veto the ceasefire resolution, “the U.S. retreated from its consistent stance in the Security Council that only a few days ago tied a ceasefire to the release of hostages.”

The Biden administration denied that claim.

U.S. national security spokesman John Kirby said Monday:

“Our vote does not — and I repeat that, does not — represent a shift in our policy. We’ve been clear and we’ve been consistent in our support for a ceasefire as part of a hostage deal.”

Federal agents on Monday raided the Miami and Los Angeles homes belonging to rapper Sean Combs in connection with a sex-trafficking investigation.

Homeland Security Investigations executed the raids on Combs’ Holmby Hills home in Los Angeles and his Miami home on Star Island.

Combs has been accused of drugging and sexually assaulting young women.

The Department of Homeland Security said in a statement:

“Earlier today, Homeland Security Investigations New York executed law enforcement actions as part of an ongoing investigation with assistance from HSI Los Angeles, HSI Miami and our local law enforcement partners. We will provide further information as it becomes available.”

Footage provided by SkyFOX showed agents arresting a few individuals. It is unclear who was in the home at the time of the raid and it is also unclear who was detained by the feds.

According to TMZ, two of the individuals handcuffed appear to be Combs’ two sons – Justin and King Combs.

NBC News reports that immigrant children as young as 14 were found working illegally amid dangerous heavy equipment at a Tennessee firm that makes parts for lawn mowers sold by John Deere, among other companies, according to Labor Department officials.

The company, Tuff Torq, was fined nearly $300,000 for hiring 10 children. As part of a consent agreement with the federal government, the company is required to set aside $1.5 million to help the children who were illegally employed.

Ryan Pott, general counsel for Tuff Torq’s majority owner, the Japanese firm Yanmar, acknowledged the violations to NBC News.

Seema Nanda, the department’s chief legal officer, whose office obtained the consent judgment against Tuff Torq, told NBC:

“The department will not tolerate companies profiting on the backs of children employed unlawfully in dangerous occupations. Tuff Torq has agreed to disgorge profits, which will go to the benefit of the children.”

The Labor Department did not specify what work the children were doing. But Labor official Juan Coria said what his investigative team found in Tuff Torq’s very busy Morristown manufacturing plant was “astonishing.”

Coria, southeast regional administrator for the Labor Department’s Wage and Hour Division, described an environment that he says caused anxiety among his investigators who witnessed children as young as 14 working late at night at the 24-hour manufacturing facility amid power-driven equipment that was being moved around the plant.

Pott, the general counsel for Tuff Torq’s majority owner, said the child workers were temporary and were not hired directly by Tuff Torq. He said they used fake names and false credentials to obtain jobs through a temporary staffing agency, and said Tuff Torq is “transitioning” away from doing business with the staffing company.

Fox Business reports that Chick-fil-A announced last week that it would be shifting from antibiotic-free chicken starting this spring, citing supply reasons, in an update shared on Thursday. 

The announcement read:

“To maintain supply of the high-quality chicken you expect from us, Chick-fil-A will shift from No Antibiotics Ever (NAE) to No Antibiotics Important To Human Medicine (NAIHM) starting in the Spring of 2024.”

No specific deadline has yet to be announced for the change to roll out. 

According to the Chick-fil-A website, NAE means no antibiotics of any kind were used in the raising of the animal, while NAIHM “restricts the use of those antibiotics that are important to human medicine and commonly used to treat people, and allows use of animal antibiotics only if the animal and those around it were to become sick.”

Chick-fil-A had previously switched to antibiotic-free chicken in 2014, eventually meeting its goal of serving antibiotic-free chicken at all chain restaurants in 2019. 

The company says it goes out of its way to source “high quality” meat but that’s not what independent researchers have found. As we reported several months ago, Chick-Fil-A was among the top 10 worst fast-food restaurants for inserting unhealthy additives into its sandwiches.

That state’s governor, Kristi Noem, has come under fire for not doing enough to stop the land transfers in her state. Although she has accomplished some pushback in this area recently, she is, by most honest observations, late to the game.

Slay News reports that a Canadian judge has just signed off on a request from government doctors to euthanize a 27-year-old woman because she suffers from autism.

The approval of the case comes despite desperate pleas from her devasted father to block the government’s “assisted suicide” of his daughter.

The request was made by Alberta Health Services and approved by a Calgary judge.

Justice Colin Feasby released his 34-page written decision when he approved the request on Monday.

Despite hearing arguments from the woman’s family, Feasby asserted that the daughter’s right to apply for MAID (Medical Assistance In Dying) must come first.

Canada has some of the most liberal euthanasia laws in the world.

The government’s taxpayer-funded program has already killed tens of thousands of Canadians.

In fact, dozens of Canadians are killed every single day under the program.

In 2022, euthanasia accounted for 4 percent of all deaths in the country.

An average of 36 people were euthanized per day in Canada during 2022.

In recent years, the government has been increasingly relaxing the laws that were originally written to give terminally ill people an option for dying.

But the expanded laws allow people to be euthanized for far less severe issues, such as depression, homelessness, or mental illness.

The Center Square reports that the City of Berkeley, California, which introduced the nation’s first natural gas ban, is now agreeing to repeal the law after a legal defeat at the hands of the California Restaurant Association.

The Restaurant Association and the City of Berkeley reached a settlement in the case relating to the city’s 2019 ordinance banning the installation of new gas lines in buildings with Berkeley agreeing to halt enforcement of the ban and the City Council taking steps to repeal the ordinance.

California Restaurant Association President and CEO Jot Condie said in press release:

“Climate change must be addressed, but piecemeal policies at the local level like bans on natural gas piping in new buildings or all-electric ordinances, which are preempted by federal energy laws, are not the answer. The ban was passed with a disregard for available cooking technologies and ultimately for small businesses in the community that rely on gas-burning equipment for their cuisines.”

That was kind of a weak statement. And it’s weakness like this from business leaders that is killing this country. No, climate change does not need to be addressed, because climate change is not caused by human activity and the whole notion of catastrophic climate change is based on fake science that has been debunked by countless real scientists.

But congratulations on a big legal victory for these restaurants in California.

Following Berkeley’s ban, over 70 cities across California, including Los Angeles and San Francisco adopted similar ordinances. Those cities will likely have to take a similar action as Berkeley and reverse their oppressive anti-business, anti-free market policies.

The New York Post reports that California restaurants are reportedly laying off staff and reducing workers’ hours in an effort to cut costs ahead of a California state law taking effect on April 1 that will raise fast-food workers’ hourly wage to $20.

In the months leading up to the wage mandate, California eateries, particularly pizza joints, have established a plan to cut jobs, according to state records obtained by The Wall Street Journal.

Pizza Hut and Round Table Pizza — a Menlo Park, California-founded chain of 400 pizza parlors, mostly on the West Coast — have said they plan to lay off around 1,280 delivery drivers this year, The Journal reported.

Pizza Hut already sent notices to employees informing them of their last day.

As noted by The Gateway Pundit, “anyone with an ounce of common sense knew this would happen.”

Time now for our Worldview Report commentary.

Tonight, we will take a look at Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s pick of Nicole Shanahan as his vice presidential runningmate on the 2024 ticket for president.

This is a bit of a surprising pick.

Shanahan is a leftist criminal-justice attorney who has given thousands to Joe Biden, the Democrats and leftist causes.

As noted by Breitbart News, RFK Jr. has tried to position himself as a truly independent candidate after switching from running as a Democrat in October 2023. At the time, he said, “I must declare my own independence. Independence from the Democratic Party. … And from all other political parties.”

But by choosing Nicole Shanahan, he doesn’t add any credible value to the ticket as a truly independent voice.

According to the New York Times, the 38-year-old Shanahan, who was once married to the Google co-founder Sergey Brin, has a history of making donations to Democratic campaigns.

Shanahan gave $30,000 to the Biden campaign in 2020, according to Federal Election Commission data. She also has made several donations to ActBlue, the Democrat fundraising arm, as well as one to the Democratic National Committee.

Kennedy said he “wanted a VP who will speak for millennials and Gen Z. Someone who cares about healing our children, protecting our environment, restoring our soils, and getting the chemicals out of our food, and who understands how technology will either enslave us or give us a path back to freedom and prosperity.”

Kennedy said, “Nicole’s intellectual capacity left me awestruck. I knew right then I wanted her as my vice president and I knew America was going to fall in love with her.”

Kennedy said his choice of runningmate reaffirms the key principles of his campaign – restoring the middle class, ending the chronic disease epidemic, unwinding the war machine, and unraveling corporate capture of our government agencies.

But who is Nicole Shanahan? Besides being a liberal lawyer, she is president and director of the Bia-Echo Foundation. Her bio on the foundation’s website sounds like it walked off the World Economic Forum stage in high heels.
