Good evening and welcome to the Worldview Report.

Independent reporter Savanah Hernandez has posted a video report about the festering migrant crisis in New York City, where she reports that 50% of the hotels in the city are now filled with illegal aliens. More than 64,000 of them in total now reside in the city at various hotels.

She interviewed a whistleblower from one of these hotels, the Row New York City, which is just one block away from Times Square. This is one of the largest hotels in New York City and it now houses more than 5,000 migrants in rooms that used to go for $500 a night or more.

This whistleblower gives an inside look at what life is like at the Row Hotel. Get ready to be shocked.

As reported by Brian Gilvany at Health Impact News, these migrants are afforded more rights and privileges than the average U.S. citizens, including the right to refuse vaccines before they are boarded at the hotel, and the whistleblower stated in the above video that most of these migrants do refuse the vaccines.

All of their medical needs are supplied for free at local hospitals, as is their transportation. The whistleblower stated that 2 to 3 babies a week are being born in just this one hotel, and they are offered free car seats and cribs.

On top of the three meals a day they get at the hotels, many are also getting signed up for food stamps. The hotel rooms are flowing with alcohol, drugs and illicit sex. Minors are often left to fend for themselves for hours or even days at a time.

Gilvany predicts that these conditions are setting the stage for America’s cities to become powder kegs, which will at some point boil over in riots and raging violence.

Yeah, a perfect excuse for more gun control.

Meanwhile, in Illinois, House Bill 3571 passed both Houses of the state legislature this past week with Senate Floor Amendment 1.

SA1 permits cities and counties in Illinois to hire non-citizens as deputy sheriffs and police officers in the same manner as hiring U.S. citizens, as long as they are: “legally authorized under federal law to work in the United States and is authorized under federal law to obtain, carry, or purchase or otherwise possess a firearm, or who is an individual against whom immigration action has been deferred by the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services under the federal Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) process.”

What this means is that, in Illinois, you may soon see non-citizens wearing police badges and possessing arrest powers over you, an American citizen.

Senator Rose spoke against its passage, suggesting it would violate the United States Constitution. Imagine that. Take a listen.

The State Senate passed the bill with SA1 on May 18, and the House concurred on May 19.

Only 20 Senate Republicans and eight GOP House members cast “NO” votes against this legislation.

Senate Republican Leader Dan McConchie voted in favor of this bill.

House Republican Leader Tony M. McCombie voted in favor of this bill.

The bill is currently awaiting the governor’s signature.

More than a dozen sailboats and other vessels were attacked by killer whales in the area off the coast of Spain and Portugal in the month of May.

This latest attack which occurred on May 24 was caught on video.

China has begun drilling a massive hole, more than six miles deep, that upon completion will reach 33,000 feet below the Earth's surface. The borehole will penetrate 10 continental strata and reach the cretaceous system in the earth's crust.

According to China National Petroleum Corporation, which is in charge of the project, the supposed purpose of the hole, if you believe it, is to “provide data on the Earth's internal structure, while also testing deep underground drilling technologies.”

Check it out.

American Military News reports that China’s defense-related revenue continues to grow at a fast clip as its military budget increases to $230 billion dollars.

The recent increase continues the trend noted for several years. According to Defense News, the Aviation Industry Corporation of China (AVIC) was the top defense-related state enterprise owned by China for the fourth year in a row for the year 2021. During the year 2020-2021, AVIC’s revenue grew from 67.9 billion to 80.4 billion with 18 percent of the growth related to defense-related expenses.

The announced 7.2 percent increase in 2023 for defense activities is reportedly earmarked for “boosting combat preparedness and enhancing military capabilities,” according to a draft of the proposed budget presented to the National People’s Congress earlier this month.

While attending China’s National People’s Congress at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing earlier in March, President Xi Jinping confirmed support for increasing China’s defense capabilities, according to Reuters.

While no official breakdown of the announced spending was provided, it marks the eighth consecutive year of growth in spending on defense for China. Actual monetary expenses to the Chinese military remain unclear, with some Department of Defense resources reporting China’s defense expenses may be at least 1 to 2 percent higher than reflected in official budget statements.

Professor Li Mingjiang, a China expert in Singapore, told Reuters, “Chinese leaders are clearly intensifying efforts to prepare the country militarily to meet all potential security challenges, including unexpected situations.”

Takashi Kawakami, a professor of China studies in Tokyo, said at least some of the budgetary increase would be allotted to improving technology-related defense capabilities, adding:

“As China strengthens the new area of cognitive warfare over Taiwan, I think it will also use the budget to build up its cyber and Space capabilities as well as its submarine forces to target undersea cables.”

On Sunday, Chinese communist regime decided to flex its muscle in the Taiwan Strait and show the U.S. just how little it respects American sea power.

Take a look at this incredible scene caught on video of a Chinese warship cutting off a U.S. ship that was engaging in military exercises with the Canadian Navy. The Chinese ship nearly rams into the U.S. ship.

According to an article published by Radio Free Asia, Taiwan’s military is bolstering its preparation for a potential war with China by planning an unprecedented military drill at a civilian airport this coming July, the official Central News Agency (CNA) reported.

The military aircraft emergency landing and takeoff drill will be staged at Taitung Fengnian Airport on the southeast coast of Taiwan.

The scenario is that Taiwan’s military airports and airstrips would be severely damaged in attacks by mainland China, forcing fighter-jets to land at civilian airports or on highways, according to the CNA report.

The military is looking to turn a section of Highway 9 “into an emergency landing strip” and a section of a road into an emergency runway.

Taiwan’s Ministry of National Defense has not commented on the details because of the sensitivity of the issue.

The drill will be carried out as part of an annual military exercise, held in July.

Alabama Republican Governor Kay Ivey signed legislation Tuesday limiting sex-specific college athletic competitions to actual members of the designated sex, declaring the issue a matter of simple fairness.

HB 261 declares that, starting August 1, an “intercollegiate or intramural athletic team or sport sponsored by a public two-year or four-year institution of higher education that is designated for females, women, or girls shall not be open to a biological male,” and vice versa for males and female teams.

The new law also forbids formal complaints, investigations, or other adverse action against schools for “maintaining separate athletic teams or sports for students” on the basis of biological sex or against students for reporting violations of the law.

It further states:

“Any student who is deprived of an athletic opportunity or suffers any direct or indirect harm as a result of a violation of this section shall have a private cause of action for injunctive relief, damages, attorney fees, and any other relief available under the law.”

Speaking in support of the law, Governor Ivey told 1818 News:

“Look, if you are a biological male, you are not going to be competing in women’s and girls’ sports in Alabama. It’s about fairness, plain and simple.”

The governor also publicly rebuked the Disney-owned sports broadcasting network ESPN for falsely reporting that she banned “transgender women” from female teams, reminding the woke sports network that such “women” are actually men.

Good for her. This will surely end up in the courts, so it will be interesting to see if it holds up.

Expect gasoline prices to start inching up as the summer wears on.

Saudi Arabia announced it will reduce how much oil it releases to the global market by 1 million barrels per day, as the OPEC alliance of major oil-producing countries faces flagging oil prices and a looming supply glut.

Al Jazeera reports that the kingdom said on Sunday it would make these production cuts in July to support the sagging cost of crude after two earlier production cuts by OPEC members failed to push prices higher.

OPEC reached a deal on output policy after seven hours of talks at its headquarters in Vienna and agreed to extend earlier cuts in supply through the end of 2024 by a further total of 1.4 million barrels per day.

“This is a grand day for us, because the quality of the agreement is unprecedented,” Saudi Energy Minister Abdul-aziz bin Salman said in a news conference, adding that the new set of production targets is “much more transparent and much more fair.”

He also said the cut by Riyadh could be extended beyond July if needed.

In contrast, the United Arab Emirates was allowed to raise output.

More than $1.3 billion U.S. tax dollars were sent to Russia and China over the past five years, according to a new analysis released by Senator Joni Ernst (R-Iowa) and OpenTheBooks.com. This amount likely doesn’t reflect the total amount because federal agencies do not follow the trail of tax dollars to their final destination.

Senator Ernst and Congressman Mike Gallagher (R-Wisc.) are leading the charge to create transparency and accountability for the taxpayer dollars that are being handed out in China and Russia. Today, they are introducing the Tracking Receipts to Adversarial Countries for Knowledge of Spending (TRACKS) Act that would require every penny from a government grant paid to any organization in China and Russia to be tracked and publicly disclosed.

Senator Ernst and OpenTheBooks determined more than $490 million from U.S. grants and contracts were paid to organizations in China over the past five years and another $870 million were paid to entities in Russia.

Adam Andrzejewski, CEO and founder of OpenTheBooks.com, said:

“Holding firms responsible to publicly report where and how they use their grants and contract awards can deputize private citizens and make them part of the solution. Radical transparency is revolutionizing U.S. public policy and is the information machine for democracy. Everyone has a stake in a more transparent, effective government.”

Some of these projects in Russia and China funded by your taxpayer dollars include:

  • $58.7 million from the Department of State, including $96,875 for gender equality through exhibition of New Yorker magazine cartoons.
  • $51.6 million from the Department of Defense, including $6 million for tech support of the military “deployment and distribution command” software – delivering equipment and supplies anywhere our military is deployed, even though the DOD Inspector General warned the Pentagon about using Chinese IT companies on DOD projects.
  • $4.7 million to a Russian company for health insurance that was sanctioned by the U.S. in 2022.
  • $4.2 million from Health and Human Services, including $770,466 to a state-run lab in Russia to put cats on treadmills.
  • $2.4 million on Russian alcohol and addiction research.
  • $2 million funneled to China’s state-run Wuhan Institute of Virology to conduct dangerous experiments on bat coronaviruses and transgenic mice.
  • $1.6 million to Chinese companies from National School Lunch Program, which means taxpayer dollars from the CARES Act meant for American farmers went to Chinese ag exporters.
  • $1.45 million for pandemic virus tracking in Russia.
  • Subsidies for the Russian space program by funding the Russia Space Agency and vendors.

U.S. Capitol Police issued an apology for halting a Christian children's choir performance of the national anthem, which had been approved by the Speaker's Office.

According to a person associated with the choir, "certain Capitol police said it might offend someone or cause issues."

The US Capitol Police said in a statement to the Epoch Times:

"Although popup demonstrations and musical performances are not allowed in the U.S. Capitol without the proper approval, due to a miscommunication, the U.S Capitol Police were not aware that the Speaker’s Office had approved this performance. We apologize to the choir for this miscommunication that impacted their beautiful rendition of the ‘Star-Spangled Banner’ and their visit to Capitol Hill.”

Time now for our Worldview Report commentary.

Reclaim the Net reports that Google Wallet, the Android version of the Wallet app on iPhones, has started supporting digital IDs and driver’s licenses. The company said the feature will begin rolling out this month, supporting the growing global push to get citizens to adopt a digital ID.

Maryland residents can use the feature immediately, but residents in Colorado, Georgia, and Arizona will get the feature “in the coming months.” The feature will require Android 8.0 and above.

The digital ID will be stored locally on the device. However, you can access it remotely by going to myaccount.google.com. On Android 11 and later versions, Google claims an Android user can transfer their ID through wireless NFC near-field technology that allows your phone to act as a transit pass or debit/credit card, even when the phone is turned off.

Google Wallet has the option for transferring credentials through NFC to an NFC ID terminal, and the option to “Show Code” that allows the user to show the traditional driver’s license barcode.

Google said that IDs stored on Google Wallet can also be used at TSA check-ins. But users must still carry their physical IDs, at least for now, until everyone gets properly conditioned and acclimated to the new system.

But never lose sight of the government-Big Tech’s overriding interest in this: it’s all for your own “protection.” Plus, you will find it extremely “convenient” to just wave your phone across a scanning device to prove your identity. What am I talking about? You most certainly won’t even have to do that. If you are carrying the phone on your person, the system will be tracking you in real time, knowing every step you take, every purchase make, every word spoken, then uploading this data to the cloud where it can be stored in perpetuity.

This is how the beast system creeps into your life, little by little.

Well, that does it for this edition of the Worldview Report. Thanks for tuning in, and for supporting this viewer-supported broadcast.

Until next time, I’m Brannon Howse. Take care.
