Good evening and welcome to the Worldview Report.

Despite multiple federal courts dismissing or ruling against similar legal complaints, 16 states have now opened cases and are attempting to bar Donald Trump’s name from appearing on the 2024 ballot.

Emboldened by the recent Colorado Supreme Court ruling, Democrat operatives across America are moving forward with efforts to win in 2024 by barring Trump from the ballot.

On Tuesday, the Colorado Court ruled that Trump’s name should not appear on the 2024 ballot due to his alleged violation of the 14th Amendment sedition/attempt to overthrow the government clause.

The seven justices of the Colorado Supreme Court—all appointed by Democrat Governors, were split 4-3 in their decision, but ultimately ruled the former president’s words and actions relative to Jan. 6, 2021 events constituted insurrection and an attempt to overthrow a duly allected government.

Many have criticized the Colorado Court’s interpretation and application of the clause in question, which was established to deal with Civil War-era issues, because Trump was not convicted on sedition charges, and because federal judges have already ruled the charges have no legal standing.

The legal website, Lawfare, is tracking legal actions against Trump. Their website reveals that federal judges in four states — Florida, Minnesota, New Hampshire, and Rhode Island — have rejected claims seeking to bar the Republican front-runner from being on the ballot.

Similar cases were rejected in lower courts in Arizona and Michigan, but are in the process of being appealed.

In addition, there are open cases in Alaska, Nevada, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Oregon, South Carolina, Texas, Vermont, Virginia, West Virginia, Wisconsin and Wyoming.

The New York Times reported that Maine will bring forward a case against Trump shortly.

An X account with the handle The Science, who claims to be a former Marine, posted “This is an overt attempt to overthrow the Constitution of the United States by a State Supreme Court. This, people, is what a revolution looks like in real time.”

The term “Civil War” has been trending on virtually all major social media platforms since the Colorado Supreme Court decision was announced.

Following the all-Democratic Colorado State Supreme Court ruling that former President Donald Trump’s name cannot appear on the 2024 primary ballot, Texas is considering banning President Joe Biden.

Lt. Governor Dan Patrick (R) floated the idea of preventing Biden’s name from appearing on the 2024 Texas ballot due to allowing eight million people to cross illegally into the country since taking office in 2021.

On Tuesday, the Colorado court ruled that Trump’s comments leading up to the Jan. 6, 2021 protest and breach of the Capitol in Washington, D.C., “constituted overt, voluntary, and direct participation in the insurrection.”

In a peculiar interpretation of a clause in the 14th Amendment, the Colorado court ruled that Trump’s comments and actions disqualified him from serving in federal office.

Many have pushed back against the ruling, pointing out the 14th Amendment was designed to address Civil War-era issues and that Trump was never convicted of insurrection or attempting to overthrow the U.S. government.

Patrick told Fox News host Laura Ingram: “Seeing what happened in Colorado makes me think — except we believe in democracy in Texas — maybe we should take Joe Biden off the ballot in Texas for allowing 8 million people to cross the border since he’s been president, disrupting our state far more than anything anyone else has done in recent history.”

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis noted that the Colorado ruling was vague and could easily be abused, prompting an endless cycle of political tit-for-tat actions. Musing the possibilities while speaking at a campaign rally in Iowa, the presidential candidate said: “Could we just say that Biden can’t be on the ballot because he let in 8 million illegals into the country, and violated the Constitution?”

DeSantis added he believed the ruling would be reversed by the U.S. Supreme Court, and that DNC efforts to hurt Trump politically will serve to benefit him in the long term.

“I think the U.S. Supreme Court is going to reverse that,” he said. “They’re doing all this stuff to basically solidify support in the primary for him, get him into the general. And the whole general election is going to be all this legal stuff.”

Robert F. Kennedy, an independent candidate in the 2024 presidential race, warned the nation’s voters that they should be extremely concerned about the future of the U.S. “Every American should be troubled by the Colorado Supreme Court’s decision to remove President Trump from the ballot. The court has deprived him of a consequential right without having been convicted of a crime. This was done without an evidentiary hearing in which he is given the basic right of confronting his accusers,” he posted to X. “If Trump is kept out of office through judicial fiat rather than being defeated in a fair election, his supporters will never accept the result,” he added. “This country will become ungovernable. It’s time to trust the voters. It is up to the people to decide who the best candidate is. Not the courts. The people. That’s Democracy 101.”

A man from the West African country of Guinea, who had just crossed illegally into Lukeville, Arizona, told Fox News reporter Bill Melugin that he plans to head for the sanctuary city of Philadelphia. When asked why, he said he didn’t know, and pulled out a piece of paper with an address written on it saying where he’s been directed to go. When Melugin looked it up, it was a local community center.

The question is, who instructed this illegal to go to Philadelphia and why? He is one of hundreds of thousands of men of military age to have crossed the border illegally just in the last few months.

Rudy Giuliani filed for bankruptcy on Thursday, December 21st, acknowledging severe financial strain brought on by the defamation lawsuit in which a jury's awarded $148 million to two former Georgia election workers.

The former New York City mayor listed nearly $153 million in existing or potential debts, including almost $1 million in tax liabilities, money he owes lawyers and many millions of dollars in potential legal judgments in lawsuits against him. He estimated he had assets in the range of $1 million to $10 million.

The eye-popping damages verdict that Giuliani was ordered to pay a week ago resulted from statements he made about two election workers. They claim his comments about them following the 2020 election led to death threats that made them fear for their lives.

Ted Goodman, a political adviser and spokesperson for Giuliani said in a statement that Giuliani's decision to seek bankruptcy protection "should be a surprise to no one" because "no person could have reasonably believed that Mayor Giuliani would be able to pay such a high punitive amount."

Goodman said the filing will give Giuliani "the opportunity and time to pursue an appeal, while providing transparency for his finances under the supervision of the bankruptcy court, to ensure all creditors are treated equally and fairly throughout the process.”

A gunman opened fire Thursday in a university building in downtown Prague, killing at least 15 people and injuring more than 20 in the Czech Republic’s worst mass shooting, police and the city’s rescue service said.

According to a report by the Associated Press, the bloodshed took place in the philosophy department building of Charles University, where the shooter was a student, Prague Police Chief Martin Vondrasek said. The gunman also died, authorities said. His name has not been released.

Vondrasek said 24 were injured, and authorities warned that the death toll could rise.

Police gave no details about the victims or a possible motive for the shooting at the building located near the Vltava River in Jan Palach Square. Czech Interior Minister Vit Rakusan said investigators do not suspect a link to any extremist ideology or groups.

Vondrasek said police believe the gunman killed his father in his hometown of Hostoun, just west of Prague, earlier in the day, and that he had also been planning to kill himself. He didn't elaborate.

The chief described the shooter as an excellent student with no criminal record, but didn't provide any other information.

The gunman suffered “devastating injuries” but it wasn't clear if he killed himself or was shot to death in an exchange of gunfire with officers, Vondrasek said.

The shooter legally owned several guns, and what he did was “well thought out, a horrible act,” Vondrasek said.

Rakusan added: “There's no indication that it has anything to do with international terrorism. It's a horrible crime, something the Czech Republic has never experienced.”

President Petr Pavel said he was “shocked” by what happened and offered his condolences to the relatives of the victims, as did leaders of Germany, France and Slovakia, the European Union and Israel.

The Czech government planned to meet later Thursday for an emergency session to discuss the shooting.

Before Thursday, the nation's worst mass shooting was in 2015, when a gunman opened fire in a small town, killing eight before fatally shooting himself.

Next time you hear an American politician repeat their mantra of “This only happens in America,” remember December 21, 2023, in the Czech Republic.

The New York Post reports that a drill sergeant was found dead December 16th at Fort Jackson in South Carolina. This marks the second drill sergeant to be found dead at the base in a recent 8-day period.

Army Staff Sgt. Zachary L. Melton, 30, was found unresponsive in his car Saturday after he failed to report to his assigned duty, military officials revealed.

No cause of death was provided.

Melton’s unit graduated its last basic training cycle last Thursday.

The Huntsville, Alabama, native had been in the Army for more than 10 years — with the past three as a drill sergeant.

On December 8, Staff Sgt. Allen M. Burtram, 34, a drill sergeant with 2nd Battalion, 13th Infantry Regiment, was found dead after he didn’t report for work, the Army said.

The U.S. Army Criminal Investigation Division is investigating both soldiers’ deaths, the branch shared.

Burtram, from Cleveland, Alabama, spent the last 12 years in the Army and had been at Fort Jackson for the last 18 months.

There was no evidence of foul play in either death, the Army told Military.com.

This is the third death at the Army installation this year.

In June, Staff Sgt. Jaime Contreras was found dead after taking part in a training exercise.

China is working on advanced brain warfare technology which is said to include devices that can send enemies to sleep and control their thoughts, according to an uncovered report.

Researchers have found two recent studies by China's People's Liberation Army that show the military is increasing its so-called hard-power weapons with new technology to win wars without conventional weapons.

The biological weapons are designed to induce sleep, impair cognition and alertness as well as impact decision-making, The Washington Times reports.

China is also said to be developing weapons that can be controlled directly by a soldier's thoughts and can manipulate enemies.

Other weapons that the Chinese army is said to be working on include genetic drugs, which are reportedly capable of altering genetic and physiological traits of people and seek to impair cognitive, emotional and behavioral characteristics.

The report, Warfare in the Cognitive Age: NeuroStrike and the PLA's Advanced Psychological Weapons and Tactics, was published earlier this month by the research group CCP Biothreats Initiative.

Researchers concluded: “The PLA is at the forefront of incorporating advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence, brain-computer interfaces and novel biological weapons into its military strategies.”

Cognitive warfare devices include anti-sleep glasses that can increase alertness, while other weapons include “soft-kill radio waves” which use electromagnetic energy to induce drowsiness on enemies, the report found.

The report added that, “The objective is to create a powerful deterrent and asymmetric advantage.”

Analysts found the research is being carried out by two Chinese military organizations, Unit 94969 and Unit 96812, which are developing defensive and offensive cognitive warfare.

The Satanic Temple has unveiled a new “holiday” display, this time at the Michigan State Capitol.

The group claims that the Satanic altars are meant to promote “religious diversity.”

Last week, a Satanic Temple display was beheaded in the Iowa State Capitol by Michael Cassidy, a Christian and former military officer.

Now the Satanists are desecrating the Michigan Capitol in Lansing and bragging about it on X.

“TST members across Michigan united to create their State Capitol holiday display,” the Satanic organization wrote in a post on X, the platform formerly known as Twitter. “Lansing’s TST Candidate congregation crafted the goat with help from TST West Michigan and TST Detroit. Stop by the Capitol to view our Michigan congregations’ display!”

The new display features two Nordic Pagan “yule goats,” one of which is adorned with a goat skull. Traditionally, the goat is burned as part of a ceremony “to alleviate pain and suffering,” according to a report from WILX News 10.

Members of the Satanic Temple gathered at the state capitol on Monday for the unveiling.

“Just the opportunity for us to all gather and be able to celebrate the year and celebrate our own achievements and celebrate religious plurality that’s what it’s all about for me,“ Minister of Satan Bender Bones told WILX.

Meanwhile, in Iowa, $20,000 was raised in just three hours to cover legal fees for Cassidy after he tore down the Iowa display, which featured a goat’s head on a red-caped mannequin holding an inverted pentagram wreath.

Speaking to The Sentinel, Cassidy said he had beheaded the statue in order to “awaken Christians to the anti-Christian acts promoted by our government.”

Time now for our Worldview Report commentary.

The Supreme Court denied an emergency appeal last week seeking to challenge an Illinois ban on semiautomatic firearms, leaving the law intact for the second time this year.

Justice Amy Coney Barrett was presented with an application for a writ of injunction against the Illinois statute but denied injunctive relief in an order last week. The Supreme Court issued an identical order in the spring of this year, while the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals has upheld the law, contending that “even the most important personal freedoms have their limits.”

The lawsuit, filed on behalf of gun store owner Robert Bevis by the National Association for Gun Rights, challenged an Illinois law heavily regulating the “sale and distribution of assault weapons, high-capacity magazines, and switches.”

National Association for Gun Rights President Dudley Brown previously contended that the ban marks a “direct violation of the Second Amendment” which has no justification in precedent related to gun rights.

Apparently, Justice Amy Barrett, a Trump appointee to the Supreme Court, cannot understand the meaning of the term “shall not infringe” as stated in the Second Amendment to the U.S. Constitution. The government “shall not infringe” on any law-abiding American’s right to keep and bear arms, the Second Amendment reads.

And yet, modern judges and justices from the bottom to the top of the federal court system are allowing politicians to not just infringe but launch an all-out assault on Americans’ Second Amendment rights.

If Trump does get back in office, he needs to do a better job of screening his Supreme Court nominees. Of the three he nominated to the high court, only one, Justice Gorsuch, appears to be a solid conservative. The other two, Barrett and Kavanaugh, are moderates at best. They also don’t have a consistent legal philosophy, which is why they cannot be counted on to vote conservative or liberal on any given case. They are wildly unpredictable and devoid of any coherent judicial standards. Barrett bragged that she modeled her judicial philosophy after the late Justice Antonin Scalia but she has displayed none of Scalia’s consistency or brilliance in her time on the court so far.

Now that’s the America I know. The true spirit of Christmas on display there in a public space. Some would call that Christian Nationalism. And I agree. That’s what Christian Nationalism looks like folks. An outpouring of unity in the love of Jesus Christ. The globalists talk about unity but they offer nothing but division and strife over things that need not be divisive like race and income-level and so many other things.

That does it for this edition of the Worldview Report. Thanks for watching and for supporting this viewer-supported broadcast.
