Well, he'll be with us as one of the keynote speakers. His name is Todd Benjamin. No stranger to this broadcast. It's been about two weeks since he's been here. He comes back now to give us an update. Todd, welcome back to the broadcast. Thanks for joining us.
Todd Bensman: Uh, good to be here. I'm feeling a little underdressed here in. Up in here. In the studio situation.
Brannon Howse: You're fine. You're fine. Let's. Let's go right away to this 8 to 1 decision by the Supreme Court that I guess the states were suing and wanting the Biden regime to take seriously the federal law to get some of these illegals out of the country, not pick and choose or cherry pick what parts of the laws they would enforce. And, as I read it, the Supreme Court, 8 to 1, said he can do that. He can choose what laws he wants to follow and not follow. Is that how you read it?
Todd Bensman: Yeah. Meaning you have to understand a little bit of the history and what they were trying to do. Remember that when Joe Biden entered office, he tried to put a 100 day moratorium on all deportations, even of the worst murderers and rapists. They also would fall under the moratorium. The states challenged. They sued. And in that case, the Supreme Court said you can't do that. So the administration came back with a guidelines that would allow them to pick and choose who they were going to deport. And, of course, you can guess that the ones that they would choose to deport would be a very small number, you know, maybe like terrorists or something. There aren't that many terrorists in the country to deport. States sued and said, Hey, this affects us. You're leaving all these criminals and all these questionable people in our states. The Republican states. But this time the Supreme Court said no. Um, you know, executive branch has to have some discretion in how to apply limited resources to problems. They don't necessarily have to follow the law. Exactly. They have prosecutorial discretion. And the Supreme Court, conservative Supreme Court agreed with that. So they are now free and clear. Now, the practical. Uh, the result of this. With this ruling, you really won't be able to see much because they figured out other ways. Further ways to chain Ice officers to their desks. They have ended deportation from the interior anyway. So you're not going to see more people not get deported. They're just going to be like, okay, well, now we we are clear of this, um, this legal challenge. So ultimately what this means is that you know, the Biden administration will continue to do what it's doing, which is to not deport anybody or very, very few people from the interior. And we have lots and lots of criminal aliens in the country as a result.
Brannon Howse: And in fact, it's getting so bad you flew over recently. Let's take a look and listen at this little clip. This is on Todd's Twitter feed. Give me some audio. Let's go to this. This is actually on Todd's Twitter feed. Watch this. It's me.
Video (from Todds Twitter feed): To the alleged conservative state of Texas, shocking reporting that Texas is host to the largest illegal alien settlement in the United States. It reportedly sits 40 miles northeast of Houston in Liberty County. The video was captured by a pair of reporters who rented an airplane and flew above the area, which reportedly houses some 200,000 people, most of whom are allegedly here illegally. Todd Benjamin is one of those reporters, also a fellow at the Center for.
Brannon Howse: All right. So there's your footage, Todd. We've talked extensively about Liberty County, but I don't think we've ever seen footage from the air like that. That's pretty fascinating. So you guys rented a plane to take a picture of that, huh?
Todd Bensman: Yeah. I went with correspondent Michael Yon. Oh, yeah? Yeah.
Brannon Howse: He and I have been communicating. We've had him on recently. We've been communicating for the last 24 to 48 hours. He's trying to get back on here. He's in an area where his his comms are bad. But yes, I'm glad to keep hearing people tonight dropping his name. You're the second guest tonight to drop that name. Keep going. Yeah.
Todd Bensman: Well, he happened to be in Texas in my area. So I said, Hey, you need to go see this place. I'll take you out there. And the reason why it matters a little bit more these days is that the developer who's been selling land and marketing homes and three quarter acre lots to illegal aliens just bought 35,000 more acres and is vastly expanding this thing. And you think the only way you can really appreciate the scale of this thing is to see it from the air. I've tried to explain it to people. I've taken photos of the trailers on the ground, and it just none of it communicates it. You have to see it from the air. This thing is about 40mi² of thousands. I think about 100,000 people live in this. It's called Colony Ridge out of Liberty County, Texas, but also neighboring counties, San Jacinto County, Polk County, and Montgomery County. On the other side, they're starting to see this sort of thing. And I believe that this is emblematic of communities that we will be that are developing right now across America, where.
Brannon Howse: Some B-roll footage of that, there's some more B-roll guys. Look at that. Look at that.
Todd Bensman: Yeah, you have to see it to believe it. I mean, it's absolutely vast. And when you go down there, you know, nobody speaks English. It's just like being in another third.
Brannon Howse: World country like America.
Todd Bensman: Is. I mean, it it is. And most recently, this community did make a little bit of news. And in that a Mexican national who'd been deported four times, five times previously murdered, his neighbors, an entire family of Hondurans that was in this area. I recognized it immediately. I was like, well, they're talking about this manhunt for this guy, but nothing about the area that they're having to manhunt him through, which is really unique in the United States. It is the subject of an entire chapter of my book, Overrun. And what happened to the school system there, The kind of crime that's come there? And to just point out that this is maybe not on this scale, this is a really big one. This is probably the biggest one in in the United States, right, in Texas. But that communities like this are undoubtedly cropping up all across America.
Brannon Howse: And I got three methods that this administration is using that I want to talk to you about that you're going to be reporting on at The Federalist. I think that article comes out on Monday. Um, but quickly, before we get to those three methods this administration is using to keep this whole border crisis problem going, what is going on at the border? I mean, it's kind of gone media blackout. This problem is now erased. Of course they knew. They knew on Sunday. Our government knew on Sunday that that submarine imploded and everybody was crushed. And that was a but they led us to believe from Sunday till Thursday. Oh, we hear tapping. There could be a rescue. And they made this big, big, big long out drama for four days, which was a nice distraction from everybody paying attention to all the crimes of the attorney general of the United States. His crimes, the according to numerous reports he was helping, helping with a cover-up. The DOJ, the FBI, the IRS covered up all the crimes of Biden's family. So it gave them a nice little reprieve to have the country sitting on pins and needles worrying about these five souls as they should be. But the government knew these people imploded. The Navy, you know, the sensitive data and the technology of the Navy reportedly picked up this implosion on Sunday. But for four days, everybody was sitting on the edge of their seat, except for people like director James Cameron. I think he pretty well said, you know what, you guys are holding out hope for nothing because this is ended badly. I can promise you that. Reading between the lines you think this this piece of junk they put together is going to hold up after ten, ten expeditions. It keeps getting weaker. So while that was distracting us. You know what's happening at the border because they lead us to believe nothing.
Todd Bensman: Well, the title of the piece that's going to run Monday in The Federalist is The mass migration crisis Rages on No Matter What They Say. And it very much is. We are looking at a 200,000 people a month still just pouring over the border.
Brannon Howse: Thousand a month.
Todd Bensman: 200,000 a month pouring through the border. There is no 70% decline. There is no decline. There's no pause. There's none of that is true. The immigrants are just pouring through at the same rate as before Title 42 ended. I know this because I've been down at the border for the last month straight with the immigrants watching them pour over the border and videotaping it as well. And the piece really kind of gets into the fact that the mass migration that you and I have been watching for the last couple of years has shapeshifted a little bit. It doesn't look like like it did the first two years of this thing because they changed it through policy. And those are the three ways that I talk about in the Federalist piece that they are still coming in. It's just that you can't see it. It's not as visible. We used to be able to fly a Fox News drone over some hotspot and you would just see, you know, 3000 people down there waiting patiently to be processed into the country. They've just simply been moved to a different area where there's like an awning and there to guard against the sun. And so and probably Fox News drones, too. And so you can't really see it as well, but they are most definitely still coming in, most definitely hammering our cities and towns which are increasing early, still applying for federal disaster money for federal bailout money, declaring emergencies. All the rest of that controversy across America from this thing. It is not.
Brannon Howse: And you write that illegal crossings of family units, unaccompanied minors, and foreign nationals, are all on a sharp upswing as well.
Todd Bensman: Right. So what happened is after Title 42, if you want me to get into it here, uh, on May 12th, it was replaced with this new strategy, which was, Hey, we're going to be super tough. We are going to remove and deport anybody who crosses illegally, uh, and we're going to force them to wait in Mexico for these permits that we're handing out by the thousands and thousands. These are crossing permits so that if you were going to cross illegally, you could apply on a cell phone app called CBP one. Cbp one, um, to get an appointment to cross over a port of entry and not get counted as an illegal entry. You get what they're doing. So when they say there's a 70% decline, what they've done, what they what they've done is they've just moved that 70% to the bridges, to the land, bridges, the land ports that you can't see. And they're counting on the complexity of that, too, as a fig leaf for their lies about these big declines. There are no declines. They're coming through by CBP one over the bridges and they're being flown from foreign airports into American airports by the tens of thousands a month. You just can't see that. You can't fly a Fox News drone over that. But those people are also learning that if they blow off the CBP one app and cross illegally, they are getting in anyway. So those numbers are are are creeping up very quickly. They're spiking of family units, unaccompanied minors, and people from all over the world who just cross illegally through the port of entry. And that's the second way that they're now crossing.
Brannon Howse: The third way you mentioned is the number of runners and gotaways appears to have spiked since May 11th as well.
Todd Bensman: Yes. I've reported extensively on the runners and Getaways. I've been out there with the troops. And those numbers are going straight up. So and you can't see those very well either. So all three of these ways are kind of invisible. But don't think for a minute that it's not happening.
Brannon Howse: The three ways, three ways the foreign invasion continues at 200,000 a month. Great analysis by Todd Bensman and his article will be exclusively at The Federalist on Monday morning. Right. Todd?
Todd Bensman: That's right.
Brannon Howse: And his book is called What? The Recent One.
Todd Bensman: It's called Overrun How Joe Biden Unleashed the Greatest Border Crisis in US History. That book is Post Hill Press, Bombardier Books. It's anywhere books are sold. They are recording an audio version that should be available in about one month, they tell me.
