Five Steps to a Euro-Centric Supra-Authority

By Brannon S. Howse

Worldview Weekend broadcast partner Robert Congdon wrote in his ministry’s June 2015 News & Bible Commentary a report about developments that could be setting the stage for the coming ten world leaders of Revelation 17:12 and the ten regions that the European Union Commission has proposed. Rob explains:

[quote] His [Tony Blair] second interest is to develop a non-elected, global group of executives who will “improve” democracy. He believes “the whole business of government” must change “radically to be effective.” His new and efficient system of giving direct or indirect advice to the current world leadership will achieve global peace. Britain’s Daily Mail speculates that this is proof that Blair is a megalomaniac who desires global domination through his “leaders’ club” while others see it as the only solution to the problems associated with Jerusalem. [end quote]

As Rob Congdon also reveals in his excellent book The European Union and the Supra-Religion, the real father of the European Union is Jean Monnet, who lived from 1888 to 1979. In 1943, Monnet declared:

[quote] There will be no peace in Europe if the states are reconstituted on the basis of national sovereignty…. The countries of Europe are too small to guarantee their peoples the necessary prosperity and social development. The European states must constitute themselves into a federation. [end quote]

Monnet believed he could implement a global supra-authority through economics and regulation. To accomplish this goal, Monnet laid out a five-step plan to create a supra-authority. His plan is now being implemented and is causing nation states to surrender their national and economic sovereignty to a global body of unelected officials, much like the unelected world leaders Tony Blair is calling to rule the world. Monnet’s five-step plan mandates:

1. Economics-Free Trade Partnerships
2. Open Borders, Shared Citizenship and Monetary System
3. External Security Partnership Through Solidarity in Foreign Policy
4. Internal Security Common Rule of Law and Enforcement
5. Total Control by Supra-Government of Human Rights and Social Progress.

Promoting free-trade partnerships is how the European Union was sold to Europeans. The real end game—ending national sovereignty through an EU parliament or shared currency—would not have been an easy sell. This same scheme of manipulation and deceit is now being rolled out on a global scale as nation after nation begin to follow the Monnet plan. Monnet called his plan “Engrenage,” meaning “transmission.” His plan is intended to be the engine or gears to bring about a global supra-authority, step by step, region by region.

In February 2014, Strobe Talbott, who served as Deputy Secretary of State in the Clinton administration from 1994 to 2001 wrote an article entitled “Monnet’s Brandy and Europe’s Fate” in which he spent 16 pages praising Monnet. His high esteem for Monnet is not surprising since his five-step plan brings into focus a long-standing desire of Talbott’s. In 1992, Talbott wrote an article for TIME magazine entitled, “America Abroad: The Birth of the Global Nation,” in which he said:

[quote] The big question these days is, which political forces will prevail, those stitching nations together or those tearing them apart? In fact, I’ll bet that within the next hundred years…nationhood as we know it will be obsolete; all states will recognize a single, global authority. A phrase fashionable in the mid-20th century—“Citizens of the world”—will have assumed real meaning by the end of the 21st. All countries are basically social arrangements, accommodations to changing circumstances. No matter how permanent and even sacred they may seem at one time, in fact they are all artificial and temporary. Through the ages, there has been an overall trend toward larger units claiming sovereignty and, paradoxically, a gradual diminution of how much true sovereignty any one country actually has. The International Monetary Fund can virtually dictate fiscal policies, even including how much tax a government should levy on its citizens. [end quote]

Talbott mentions the International Monetary Fund, a worldwide bank dominated by the Europeans. It was founded in part by John Maynard Keynes, a socialist and member of the British Fabian Society. In Grave Influence, my first book of this trilogy, I offer an entire chapter on John Maynard Keynes because of his astounding effect on the world today. (You can order the book or e-book at worldviewweekend.com/bookstore.)

The true goal of Fabian Socialism is not merely socialism but globalism. Fabianism dovetails with corporate fascism, the merging of big government and big business—a direction I predicted in 1995 that America would move toward rather quickly. That has indeed happened, and now the pace is increasing. Keynes would be pleased at how well things are turning out. Early on, he saw that by:

[quote] . . . a continuous process of inflation, governments can confiscate, secretly and unobserved, an important part of the wealth of their citizens. By this method, they not only confiscate, but confiscate arbitrarily: and while the process impoverishes many, it actually enriches some. The process engages all of the hidden forces of economic law on the side of destruction, and does it in a manner that not one man in a million can diagnose. [end quote]

Such inflation is the manner in which Fabian Socialists and communitarians mix capitalism and socialism to create corporate fascism controlled by an outside force of unelected social engineers.

Agreements in the mold of Monnet’s “Economics-Free Trade Partnerships” have been forced upon America, largely by Republicans and so-called conservatives—even Tea Party heroes. Marco Rubio, for instance, was a hero of the Tea Party until he joined John McCain’s gang of eight and pushed for amnesty for 20 million illegals at a time when Americans were having a hard time finding jobs. Then there is Tea Party hero, U.S. Senator Ted Cruz, who is anything but an outsider or conservative. In the book Tragedy and Hope, liberal and globalist Carroll Quigley explained how people like Cruz and the two major U.S. political parties are all one:

[quote] The argument that the two parties should represent opposed ideals and policies, one, perhaps, of the Right and the other of the Left, is a foolish idea acceptable only to doctrinaire and academic thinkers. Instead, the two parties should be almost identical, so that the American people can “throw the rascals out” at any election without leading to any profound or extensive shifts in policy. [end quote]

Vladimir Lenin offered a similar strategy: “The best way to control the opposition is to lead it ourselves.”

For months, Ted Cruz supported the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP), also known as Obamatrade, and only turned against it in the plan’s final hours in Congress. He had already done the heavy lifting so it would pass. Cruz had appeared on radio and television programs and written articles to promote the TPP even though it was anything but a conservative cause. After he garnered enough support to assure the passage of this horrible legislation, Cruz voted against the TPP, so he could position himself well with conservative constituents. One of the biggest threats to the family and the Church is apostate politicians and religious leaders. The real worldview of people like Ted Cruz should reinforce the fact that our hope is not in politicians but in the Gospel and that our job is not to reclaim America but to proclaim the Gospel and guard the Church. Here are some facts to consider when examining the worldview of Ted Cruz.

Cruz wanted to see legal immigration doubled at a time when Americans are having a hard time finding jobs. He would also like to see a 500 percent increase in the H-1B visas. These visas would allow highly skilled workers to come into America and take more jobs from American citizens.

Ted Cruz’s father is Rafael Cruz who has spoken many times as a surrogate for his son’s campaign. Yet, Rafael Cruz is a false teacher who promotes dominion theology as well as Word of Faith false teacher Larry Huch by praising him and speaking at his church. Huch teaches that Jesus was not the only begotten Son of God.

Perhaps most revealing as to why Ted Cruz would publically rally for the passage of the Trans-Pacific Partnership might be that his wife convinced him to do so. His wife is Heidi Cruz, who served on the Council on Foreign Relations’ Task Force for Building a North American Community. Her bio on the CFR website reads:

[quote] HEIDI S. CRUZ is an energy investment banker with Merrill Lynch in Houston, Texas. She served in the Bush White House under Dr. Condoleezza Rice as the Economic Director for the Western Hemisphere at the National Security Council, as the Director of the Latin America Office at the U.S. Treasury Department, and as Special Assistant to Ambassador Robert B. Zoellick, U.S. Trade Representative. Prior to government service, Ms. Cruz was an investment banker with J.P. Morgan in New York City. [end quote]

How many people has Cruz led to believe that he is a Washington outsider or so conservative that he is a Tea Party guy?

Conservative news outlet Breitbart.com reported that U.S. Speaker of the House John Boehner used Cruz to promote Obamatrade:

[quote] That Boehner is using Cruz to push Obamatrade is probably even more disappointing to most conservatives, and Cruz’s press operation hasn’t—over the past 48 hours, since Boehner ratcheted up his decision to use Cruz’s support for this to whip votes for it—given Breitbart News any comment in response to that revelation despite multiple opportunities to do so. [end quote]

As if to further mask his connections, Cruz publically called the Council on Foreign Relations, of which his wife was a part, “a nest of snakes.” Yet, Ben Smith of Politico reported that he did exactly that:

[quote] Ted Cruz, the former Texas solicitor general and tea party favorite for the Republican nomination for Senate, has been focusing some of his harshest campaign trail rhetoric on that longtime villain of those suspicious of U.S. internationalism: The Council on Foreign Relations. The New York-based group, Cruz said at a speech to a Republican women’s group in Sugarland, Tex., last week, is “a pit of vipers.” [end quote]

This is a perfect example of a politician saying what the voters want to hear. If he really thinks so poorly of the CFR, why was his wife working with them on a task force calling for the creation of a North American Union that is apparently part of the plan destroy America’s sovereignty and create ten global regions overseen by a European supra-authority?

The TPP is just one of numerous spurious treaties or bills that have passed the U.S. Congress—or will in the coming months and years. Even the skullduggery used to bring these things to pass should set off alarm bells. The TPP was transformed from a treaty into legislation so as to get around the two-thirds vote needed in the U.S. Senate to ratify a treaty. Proponents like Cruz couldn’t take the chance that it wouldn’t pass because the TPP fits so nicely with step one of Jean Monnet’s plan, as revealed in a Phyllis Schlafly column at Worldviewtimes.com:

[quote] Rep. Duncan Hunter (R-CA) warns, “TPP calls for the formation of a permanent political and economic union known as the Trans-Pacific Partnership Commission, which will have power to issue regulations impacting not only trade but immigration, the environment, labor and commerce. He added, Congress “will have surrendered its legislative prerogatives. Before a word, line, paragraph, or page of this plan is made public, Congress will have even agreed to give up its treaty powers.” Senator Sessions made it even more emphatic, saying that Fast Track “authorizes the President to form a new transnational governance structure…. [I]t confers the power to both compel and restrict changes to U.S. policy, to commit the U.S. to international obligations, and to cede sovereign authority to a foreign body.” Senator Sessions continued: “Congress would be pre-clearing a political and economic union before a word of that arrangement has been made available to a single private citizen. This has the earmarks of a nascent European Union,” and Americans certainly don’t want to belong to a European union (that’s why we fought the American Revolution). [end quote]

Notice that Senator Sessions warned “this has the earmarks of a nascent European Union.” As you will see in the next chapter, the globalist goal for many generations has been to shove America and others under the control of the European Union to create a Euro-centric world government. As Phyllis Schlafly’s column further explains:

[quote] Rep. Hunter also warns that the new global governance institution would be “authorized to issue policies and regulations affecting our economy, our manufacturers, our workers, our immigration procedures, as well as current, labor and environmental practices.” [end quote]

Other legislation and agreements also track with the Jean Monnet plan. On March 23, 2005, in Waco, Texas, for instance, President George W. Bush, along with the presidents of Canada and Mexico, signed the Security and Prosperity Partnership (SPP)—a North American agreement encouraged by the CFR task force of which Heidi Cruz was a member. Researchers, authors, columnists, and some lawmakers warn that the SPP, along with other treaties, will eventually lead to a North American Union with its own court, legislative body, commission, custom officials, and, perhaps, currency. One person sounding the alarm is former assistant secretary of defense in the Reagan administration, Frank Gaffney. For years since leaving the Pentagon, Gaffney has written and spoken about his concern related to the security and national sovereignty of America. Addressing specifically the SPP, Gaffney warned:

[quote] Such rules are intended to govern trinational trade, transportation, immigration, social security, education and virtually every other aspect of life in North America. There are new institutions being proposed, too, such as a North American Tribunal with authority to trump rulings of the U.S. Supreme Court. [end quote]

England provides the precedent for what could happen here. Author James Edwards, Jr., echoes a warning I’ve given on my radio and television program when he writes:

[quote] By some estimates, as much as 85 percent of the rules, regulations and laws that govern everyday life in the U.K. have never been considered, let alone enacted, by the British Parliament. Instead, they have been handed down as edicts by the unelected, unaccountable Transies who run the European Union from Brussels. [end quote]

The European Union began as the European Common Market through The Treaty of Rome. It was the official treaty establishing the European Economic Community (TEEC), signed on March 25, 1957 in Rome. Again, all roads lead back to Rome and a revived Roman Empire.

Whether the SPP or the TPP, these agreements bring the public and private sector together in partnerships that fit the description of corporate fascism that I warned in my second book in 1995 was coming to America. Big business and big government together want it this way. As James Edwards, Jr., warns:

[quote] For immigration, SPP has serious implications. Documents from the Commerce Department disclose that SPP advocates intend to dramatically expand the inflow of foreign workers. Work must continue to formalize a transnational technical labor force that could work in any North American country on a temporary basis. [end quote]
