Colossus Rising: Elon Musk’s Memphis Monster and the Technocratic Takeover

Folks, buckle up—something massive is happening right in my backyard, and it’s got global implications you need to know about. Last night, I sat down with Leo Hohmann, our senior producer at Worldview Report (happy belated birthday, Leo!), to unpack a story that’s flying under the radar for most Americans. It’s about Elon Musk’s XAI supercomputer, dubbed “Colossus,” taking root in Memphis, Tennessee—just a few miles from where I’m sitting. This isn’t just a tech project; it’s a beast that could reshape our world, and not necessarily for the better.

Patrick Wood was supposed to join us, but he’s traveling, so Leo stepped up. We started with a headline that caught my eye: “Musk’s Colossus in Memphis to Reach 3 Million GPUs Prepares to Eat the World.” That’s no exaggeration. This thing’s housed in the old Electrolux building—a million-square-foot monster—plus Elon’s scooped up 100 acres next door to expand it. The stats are staggering: 1 million GPUs by the end of 2025, 2 million by 2026, 3 million by 2027. GPUs—graphics processing units—aren’t just for video games anymore; they’re the backbone of artificial intelligence (AI). And this Colossus? It’s set to be the biggest AI brain on the planet.

But here’s where it gets eerie. Elon named it “Colossus” after a 1970 sci-fi horror flick, Colossus: The Forbin Project. I’d never heard of it—neither had Leo—until Patrick flagged it. We rolled the trailer, and it’s chilling: a supercomputer takes over, declares itself “world control,” and threatens humanity with “obey me and live, or disobey and die.” It’s man building himself out of existence, a machine so smart it holds the world hostage with nuclear Armageddon. Sound familiar? Leo pointed out it debuted the same year Zbigniew Brzezinski dropped Between Two Ages, pushing a “technotronic era”—technocracy’s blueprint. Coincidence? I don’t think so.

Elon’s not shy about the God complex here. In a clip with Jordan Peterson, he quipped that Colossus, rising in Memphis, might be “where our new God will come from”—tying it to ancient Egypt’s Memphis, land of pagan deities. He laughed it off, but Leo nailed it: psychologically, that slip means something. Then there’s the Freemasonry angle. We dug into it—Elon’s grandfather was a Mason and a Canadian technocrat. Leo found a 1947 Technocracy, Inc. film, Operation Columbia, where technocrats stopped at a Portland Masonic Temple for an “inspiring address” from the Grandmaster. Technocracy and Freemasonry, hand in glove—Egypt, pyramids, and all. Is Memphis just a practical choice—cheap land, Mississippi River water, FedEx hub—or a spiritual nod? I’m not dogmatic, but it’s odd.

This thing’s a resource hog. By 2027, it’ll need 925 megawatts—enough for 25,000-30,000 homes—and 13 million gallons of water a day (9,028 gallons a minute) for cooling. Elon’s already tapped two-thirds of America’s coolant supply, per recent reports, and he’s got tractor-trailer-sized gas generators on-site because Memphis Light, Gas and Water can’t keep up. Locals are nervous—Newsweek says it’s an “energy crunch,” and some cry pollution in black neighborhoods. But the Chamber of Commerce cheers the jobs. Me? I ask folks around here—they’re oblivious until the lights flicker.

It’s not just Memphis. Larry Ellison’s dropping $100 billion on data centers with Trump’s blessing—Operation Stargate—while Zuckerberg’s got a $60 billion play in Louisiana. Georgia’s got ‘em too. Our power grid’s already shaky—Leo and I agree, blackouts are coming. They’re pushing electric cars, stoves, everything, while AI sucks the juice dry. My advice? Stick to gas, propane, backups—electricity’s about to get scarce and pricey, hitting the poor and middle class hardest.

Leo sees technocracy as a religion—elites as gods, politicians as puppets. COVID was the dry run: Fauci and “experts” ran the show, dissenters got crushed—some African leaders even died resisting. Colossus fits the script: a supercomputer to rule us all. Trump’s on board, saying we need it to beat China militarily—echoing the movie’s U.S.-Russia AI showdown. But China’s ahead, with AI that sips power while ours guzzles. This could end badly.

We pivoted to Ukraine—Leo’s latest Substack (leohohmann.substack.com) warns Trump’s not handling Putin wisely. Ukraine’s ceasefire came hours after a drone attack killed Russian civilians, but Putin’s got no reason to stop—he’s winning, with 8,000 Ukrainians trapped. Trump’s restarted aid, bullying Putin like Zelensky, but Russia’s 64 stealth subs could lob 1,000 nuclear cruise missiles at our coast. This isn’t Ukraine’s clown show—Russia’s a peer. Leo predicts a short ceasefire, not peace, unless the West admits defeat. Are globalists plotting against Trump? J.J. Carrell last night feared more assassination attempts—they won’t let him derail their agenda quietly.

Folks, this is why we dig deep—no commercial breaks, just truth. Colossus isn’t just tech—it’s power, control, maybe something darker.
