Mega Regions, Land Grabs, and the March Toward Agenda 2030: The Fight for Freedom is Now

Folks, if you think the battle for your freedom is over because we’ve got a new administration in Washington, think again. I had Tom DeWeese of AmericanPolicy.org on my broadcast recently, and what he laid out should shake every liberty-loving American to their core. We’ve been sounding the alarm for over 30 years together—yes, I know we look too young for that, but the fight’s been that long—and the stakes have never been higher. What we’re talking about today is a sinister plan hiding in plain sight: mega regions, land grabs, and the slow strangulation of your property rights, all tied to the globalist Agenda 2030.
It started with a text from my editor, Jill. “Brannon, what do you know about mega regions?” she asked. Mega regions? I had to dig into it myself. Turns out, the Regional Plan Association has a map of the United States carved up into 11 so-called “mega regions”—economic engines, they call them, home to three-quarters of our population. Sounds innocent enough, right? Wrong. Tom hadn’t heard the term until I sent it to him that morning, but when he dug in, he connected the dots faster than you can say “global control.”
Here’s what the Regional Plan Association says about itself: their “professional researchers and regional planners” aim to improve “prosperity, sustainability, and quality of life” through transportation, economic development, real estate, the environment, and more. That’s everything, folks—your life, your home, your car, your job, all under their thumb. They’re pushing a program called America 2050, and it’s not about making America great. It’s about forcing us into a “balanced and sustainable growth strategy” that smells a lot like the European Union’s “territorial cohesion” playbook. That’s right—this isn’t local; it’s global. And guess what’s at the root of it? Diversity, equity, and inclusion—DEI—the buzzwords of the woke elite, baked right into their plans.
Tom and I unpacked how this fits with Agenda 2030, the United Nations’ blueprint for turning sovereign nations into controlled zones. They want you out of the countryside and into their “smart cities”—government ghettos where everything’s digital, tracked, and regulated. Want to fly? They’ll decide how many times a year you’re allowed. Eat meat? They’ll set your quota. Step outside your 15-minute city? They’ll know, thanks to digital IDs they’re itching to slap on every one of us. This isn’t speculation—it’s their openly stated goal.
And don’t think they’re stopping at city limits. They’re coming for the land, too. Tom brought up 30 by 30—Biden’s executive order to lock away 30% of U.S. land by 2030. That’s not a conspiracy theory; it’s policy. They’re pushing folks off rural areas into urban cages, using buzzwords like “sustainable development” and “smart growth.” Why? Control. In the cities, they can monitor your energy use, your transportation, your job—everything. Out in the country? You’re too independent for their liking. Farmers are the biggest threat to this agenda, and that’s why we’re seeing attacks on them nationwide—China buying up farmland, conservation easements strangling family farms, and regulations telling them what they can and can’t grow. The only ones left standing will be corporate farms playing ball with the globalists.
Tom’s latest article, “Conservation Easements: The Land Grab That Must Be Stopped,” nails this. He’s been warning about these schemes forever, and they’re accelerating. Remember Bobby Unser, the three-time Indy 500 winner? Back in 1996, he got lost in a blizzard on a snowmobile in a national forest. Nearly died out there. The Clinton administration didn’t care—they charged him with “despoiling” a federal wilderness area. A $75 fine cost taxpayers $1 million to prosecute, all because he stumbled into one of their precious “no-human” zones. That’s the future they want—huge swaths of America off-limits, biospheres where you’re a criminal for stepping foot on your own land.
Then there’s Utah. Tom pointed out a Supreme Court ruling that said Utah doesn’t have a right to its own land—18 million acres stay under federal control. East of the Mississippi, 97% of land is privately owned. West of it? The feds dominate. Property rights—the bedrock of freedom—are being wiped out, and it’s all tied to sustainable development. Tom’s challenge is spot-on: go look at your local comprehensive plan. Find one word about protecting property rights. You won’t. Unelected regional councils like the RPA are calling the shots, and your local officials just shrug and say, “That’s how it’s done now.”
Here’s the kicker: the World Economic Forum saw Trump coming. Last October, before the election, they met in San Francisco and hatched a plan—go local. They know they can’t push this at the federal level with Trump and DOGE exposing their game, so they’re embedding it in your towns and counties. These mega regions? That’s their endgame—herding us into controlled zones while locking up the rest.
Folks, this isn’t about saving the planet. It’s about power. Tom’s right—we can’t sit back and think the fight’s won. Get involved locally. Pressure your city council, your county commission, your state reps. Demand they represent you, not some unelected board. Check out Tom’s work at AmericanPolicy.org—he’s got the roadmap to fight back. If we don’t, we’re handing our kids a future of digital shackles and bug burgers. The time to stand is now.
