Trump Challenges G20 Attendance Amid South Africa’s Land Confiscation and Farmer Genocide Crisis

For years, I’ve been sounding the alarm about the atrocities unfolding in South Africa—a nation where both black and white citizens have been brutalized by a communist agenda masquerading as racial justice. My 2018 documentary Sabotage exposed the horrific persecution of Afrikaner farmers, many of whom are Christians, at the hands of a regime steeped in Marxist ideology. Now, President Donald Trump has taken a bold stand, calling out the genocide and land confiscation plaguing South Africa, and questioning the appropriateness of attending the upcoming G20 summit in a country that tolerates such horrors.

President Trump stated, “How can we be expected to go to South Africa for the important, very important G20 meeting when land confiscation and genocide is the primary topic of conversation? They’re taking the land of white farmers and then killing them and their families. The media refused us to report on this. The United States has held back all contributions to South Africa. Is this where we want to be for the G20? I don’t think so.” He reiterated this sentiment yesterday, making it clear he’s unlikely to attend. Instead, he’s opened America’s doors to these persecuted farmers, and we’ve seen heartwarming images of white South African families arriving here, clutching American flags, seeking refuge from the violence.

I discussed this crisis with Alex Newman, a journalist who lived in South Africa and has been a longtime voice on this issue. Alex, who authored a 2012 cover story for The New American titled “Genocide and Communism Threatened South Africa,” joined me on my broadcast to unpack the parallels between South Africa’s descent and the Marxist tactics being deployed in America today. He pointed out the chilling reality: “The Afrikaners are the canary in the coal mine for Christian civilization. The exact same plan they have used to destroy them in South Africa is the plan they are using to destroy Christendom as we speak.”

Alex detailed how the South African government, under the guise of racial equity, has weaponized race to divide and conquer. “Open up the borders, use the race card and the critical race theory, the analysis, have communism and globalism hiding behind the face of democracy and race issues,” he explained. This “Mandela Method,” as I’ve termed it, accuses everyone of racism to justify stealing property, destroying culture, and targeting Christians. It’s a playbook we saw under the Obama and Biden administrations, and one we must vigilantly guard against now.

The brutality in South Africa is staggering. In Sabotage, I highlighted the ANC’s use of “necklacing” under Nelson Mandela’s direction—a barbaric method where a tire filled with gasoline is placed around a victim’s neck and set ablaze. Victims, often black South Africans who refused to bow to communism, included policemen, teachers, and civil servants. Mandela himself pled guilty to 156 counts of public violence, targeting civilians, including women and children. Yet, the mainstream media and figures like neo-Calvinist Al Mohler have painted him as a hero, ignoring his communist agenda and the atrocities committed under his watch.

Alex emphasized that this isn’t about race—it’s about communism versus Christianity. “They murdered far more black Africans than they did white people, Brandon, in some of the most gruesome, horrific ways imaginable,” he noted. The Afrikaners, Dutch Protestant Christians who have lived in South Africa for over 400 years, are targeted not for their race but for their faith and resistance to a godless, tyrannical system. Their history mirrors America’s: Protestant Christians fleeing persecution in Europe, building a society rooted in biblical principles, only to face existential threats from Marxist forces.

The farm murders in South Africa are a grim testament to this evil. A 2020 article reported farmers being sexually assaulted, tortured, and strung up on poles. One case involved Francis Davidson, a 74-year-old farmer tortured for 13 hours, beaten, burned, and dragged through his garden. Another saw a farm wife gang-raped by six men, with a Bible left on her body—a chilling marker of their intent to eradicate Christians. In Limpopo province, a monument with over 2,000 white crosses stands as a memorial to those murdered since 1994, with 75 more added last year alone.

This violence isn’t random—it’s politically fueled. Johan Engelbrecht, whose parents were brutally murdered on May 13, 2025, shared in a clip we played, “My dad always said, it’s not if, it’s when. We all know it’s coming.” The threat of land expropriation has rendered farms worthless, with auctions canceled due to lack of buyers. As Johan stated, “Why will you buy a farm and tomorrow the government’s going to take it? And who is going to buy a farm if living there endangers their lives?”

Here in America, we’re seeing the same tactics unfold. I pointed to a recent incident where Democratic members of Congress, including Representatives Menendez, MacGyver, and Watson, assaulted ICE agents at a detention center. Hakeem Jeffries warned, “They better not touch our members… It’s a red line.” When pressed on what he’d do if arrests were made, he ominously replied, “They’ll find out.” This is the Mandela Method at work—race-baiting to protect criminals like MS-13 and Hamas sympathizers, all while stoking division and potentially civil war. As I told Alex, “I think these people are stoking for a civil war. I think if they get back into power, they will do everything they can to burn down the American plantation.”

Alex agreed, noting the parallels: “They opened up the border and encouraged people from across the African continent to come into South Africa… The Democrats, the race baiters, the critical racers in America say it’s the worst country in the universe… And yet they’re encouraging the whole world to come here.” He warned that this is a deliberate setup for conflict, with operatives, gangsters, and saboteurs crossing our borders, preparing for a scenario where “Americans kill each other” so the deep state can “step in and rescue us.”

The endgame, Alex explained, is a “unipolar world order” under a one-world system, where national sovereignty, Christianity, and biblical principles are eradicated. South Africa is the microcosm; America is the macrocosm. While Trump’s actions offer a temporary reprieve, Alex cautioned that the rage being fomented on the left will be weaponized once a deep state puppet—Democrat or Republican—regains control.

We must heed this warning. The Afrikaners’ plight is a stark reminder of what awaits if we allow the Mandela Method to take root here.
