The Unsettling Truth About 9/11: Richard Gage Exposes the Evidence on Building 7 and Beyond

On April 24, 2025, I had the privilege of hosting Richard Gage, a seasoned architect with 36 years of experience and the founder of RichardGage911.org, on my broadcast. For years, I’ve followed Richard’s work on X, where he meticulously documents evidence challenging the official narrative of the September 11, 2001, attacks. His presentation, grounded in science and corroborated by thousands of professionals, left no doubt: the collapse of World Trade Center Building 7—and the Twin Towers—raises questions that demand answers. The mainstream media may dismiss these concerns as "conspiracy theories," but the evidence speaks louder than labels.

Building 7: The Collapse That Defies Explanation

Most Americans have never heard of World Trade Center Building 7, a 47-story skyscraper that collapsed on 9/11 despite not being hit by an airplane. As Richard explained, this building fell symmetrically into its own footprint in under seven seconds, exhibiting all the hallmarks of a controlled demolition: sudden onset, free-fall acceleration, and a straight-down collapse. The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), tasked with explaining the collapse, claims it was due to "normal office fires" fueled by furniture. But Richard, backed by 3,600 architects and engineers, debunks this claim.

No steel-framed, fire-protected high-rise has ever collapsed due to fire—before or after 9/11. Richard shared examples of buildings that endured hotter, longer-lasting fires yet remained standing, often restored and reoccupied. NIST’s theory hinges on a computer model alleging thermal expansion of beams on the 12th floor pushed a girder off its seat, triggering a cascading failure. Yet, photographic evidence shows those fires had burned out by 4 p.m., contradicting NIST’s simulation. As Richard put it, this is "fraud" to prop up an implausible narrative.

Explosions and Foreknowledge: Witnesses Ignored

Perhaps most damning are the firsthand accounts of explosions. Richard played clips of firefighters and first responders describing "booms," "flashes," and "shockwaves" before Building 7’s collapse. One witness, Barry Jennings, reported explosions inside the building before the Twin Towers fell, trapping him and Michael Hess on the eighth floor. Another, Kevin McPadden, heard a countdown on a radio—three, two, one—moments before the collapse. Construction workers were caught on CNN predicting the building would "blow up." Shockingly, none of these 116 first-responder testimonies were included in NIST or FEMA reports.

Even more bizarre, the BBC and CNN reported Building 7’s collapse prematurely—CNN at 11:07 a.m., when it was obscured by dust, and the BBC 20 minutes before it happened, with the building still standing behind their reporter. These "grievous errors" were brushed off, but they suggest foreknowledge. Chief Nick Foscani and Chief Hayden also predicted the collapse hours in advance, with an engineer estimating it would fall in "about five hours"—and it did. How could they know, when no steel-framed building had ever collapsed from fire?

Scientific Evidence: Thermite and Molten Iron

The physical evidence is equally compelling. FEMA’s 2002 report, Appendix C, documented "never before observed" eutectic reactions in Building 7’s steel, turning girders into "Swiss cheese" through rapid oxidation and sulfidation. This points to thermite, a military-grade incendiary producing molten iron at 4,500°F—far beyond the 1,500°F of office fires or 600°F of jet fuel. The New York Times called this the "deepest mystery" of the investigation, yet NIST ignored it. The U.S. Geological Survey and R.J. Lee Group found billions of molten iron microspheres in the dust, a "signature component" unexplained by the official narrative. Sulfur, likely from thermate (thermite with sulfur), was also present, ruling out NIST’s claim that gypsum board caused the corrosion.

The Twin Towers: Explosions, Not Pancakes

Turning to the Twin Towers, Richard dismantled NIST’s "pancake" theory, which claims the upper floors crushed the lower ones. Videos show no pile driver; the upper sections disintegrated in midair. Steel sections, weighing four to eight tons, were ejected 600 feet, impaling nearby buildings, trailed by white smoke clouds—evidence of explosive force, not gravity. The concrete, 90,000 tons per tower, was pulverized to 100-micron particles, blanketing Manhattan. This requires temperatures above 1,500°F, consistent with thermite, not office fires.

First responders reported explosions before the collapses, with 156 testimonies describing flashes, booms, and synchronized blasts "like a belt" around the buildings. These accounts, suppressed until a 2005 court order, contradict NIST’s narrative. Physics teacher David Chandler measured the South Tower’s descent at two-thirds free-fall speed, implying minimal resistance from the 80,000 tons of steel below. The South Tower’s 22-degree tilt corrected to a straight-down collapse, defying asymmetrical damage from the plane impact and fires.

Fraudulent Science and Destroyed Evidence

Richard exposed the flaws in NIST’s and Zdenik Bazant’s models. Bazant’s calculations doubled the mass of the upper floors and reduced column strength below by a factor of three, a manipulation debunked by engineers Tony Zambotti, Richard Johns, and Gregory Zutelinski. Their peer-reviewed challenge was rejected by the American Society of Civil Engineers as "out of scope," prompting an ethics case. Meanwhile, 180,000 tons of steel—critical evidence—was shipped to China for recycling before forensic analysis, a move Fire Engineering Magazine’s Bill Manning called "illegal destruction of evidence."

Access and Motive: A False Flag?

How could explosives be planted? Richard pointed to the ACE Elevator contract, a massive modernization project on the impacted floors, and suspicious dust reported by Scott Forbes weeks before 9/11. This could have provided access to core columns. General Wesley Clark’s revelation that 9/11 justified invasions of Afghanistan, Iraq, and other Middle Eastern countries suggests a motive: a false flag to advance geopolitical goals, possibly tied to The Patriot Act, Real ID, and Department of Homeland Security, enacted post-9/11, have eroded constitutional rights, enabling surveillance and detention without due process.

A Call for Truth

The science is undeniable. FEMA and USGS data, first-responder testimonies, and studies like Professor Leroy Hulsey’s four-year analysis at the University of Alaska confirm that fires didn’t cause Building 7’s collapse—it required the simultaneous failure of all columns, consistent with controlled demolition. Donald Trump, on 9/11 or shortly after, questioned how planes alone could bring down such structures, suggesting bombs. He later promised to declassify 9/11 files. Representatives Luna and Comer, alongside Senator Ron Johnson and former Congressman Curt Weldon, are pushing for investigations, giving hope that Richard’s evidence will reach a congressional committee.

This isn’t about conspiracy theories—it’s about math, physics, and eyewitness accounts. As Richard said, “The implications of this evidence are disturbing.” We’ve suffered the consequences of 9/11 for 24 years, from wars to surveillance.
