Leading off tonight, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer closed out the Securing Our Future Summit in London by pledging new billions to Ukraine and committing to British “boots on the ground and planes in the sky.”

He called for a “coalition of the willing” to bolster Ukraine’s war effort against Russia.

Here he is addressing his fellow Europeans, saying they are doubling down on their support for Ukraine.

Zelensky has previously said European partners would need to station 100,000 to 150,000 soldiers in Ukraine to effectively deter Russia. The U.S. has ruled out sending its own troops while encouraging European allies to take the lead in securing Ukraine's post-war stability.

The U.K. and France are considering deploying a much smaller European-led peacekeeping force with up to 30,000 soldiers, the Telegraph reported.

Apart from the U.K. and France, other countries remain cautious about sending their troops to Ukraine, citing concerns over the escalation and limited military resources, according to the Washington Post.

Starmer said world leaders had agreed to keep military aid flowing to Ukraine, and to continue to help the country bolster its defense capabilities in the event of a peace deal.

He also announced a new $3 billion loan for Ukraine backed by profits from frozen Russian assets, and $2 billion in export finance for the country to purchase air defense missiles.

Hungary’s Viktor Orban, who seems to be Europe’s only sane leader, said Europe chose war instead of peace at the London summit, adding:

“This is bad, dangerous and mistaken.”

Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky was given a clear message during his meeting with US President Donald Trump on Friday, that further financial support hinges on Ukraine’s willingness to negotiate peace, US Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick has said. His comments follow Zelensky’s heated confrontation with Trump and Vice President J.D. Vance.

Zelensky visited the White House on Friday, intending to finalize a minerals agreement. However, the discussion quickly deteriorated when he insisted that Trump back Kiev rather than act as a neutral mediator in talks with Moscow. 

In response, Trump and Vance accused Zelensky of “gambling with World War III” and showing reluctance to pursue peace with Russia, portraying him as ungrateful despite the billions in US military assistance.

In a Sunday Fox News interview, Lutnick stressed that President Trump made it clear he “just wants to make peace.” However, he said that Zelensky did not come for that, and made ridiculous requests to Trump and Vance.

Lutnick added:

“Zelensky needed to hear it directly from the funding mouth of the United States of America: We’re not going to give you money unless you’re here for peace.”

He added that Trump had tried to reason with Zelensky, stressing that the Ukrainian leader can’t say “[Russian President Vladimir] Putin’s a terrorist and then call the guy up and try to make peace with him.”

During the Friday meeting, Zelensky insisted Trump sign off on a US security guarantee for Ukraine while fighting is still ongoing with Moscow. Trump dismissed these requests as ridiculous. The confrontation ultimately led to Trump cutting the meeting short.

Not only did the visit conclude abruptly without signing the minerals agreement, but it also raised concerns about the future of US military assistance to Ukraine. According to The Washington Post, the Trump administration is now reconsidering its financial and military commitments to Kiev.

US National Security Adviser Mike Waltz also hinted at a possible shift in Washington’s stance, suggesting that Zelensky may need to step aside if he refuses to pursue a diplomatic solution. 

Speaking to CNN, Waltz stated, “it’s unclear whether President Zelensky, particularly after what we saw on Friday, is ready to transition Ukraine to an end to this war and negotiate a compromise.”

Elon Musk posted this video to X Sunday, of Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard explaining that Zelensky is no friend of so-called democracy, as the US establishment media claims.

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said that while Washington seeks peace for Ukraine, some European allies seem to prefer prolonging the conflict to further weaken Russia.

As of January 2025, the US had provided $65.9 billion in military assistance to Ukraine since February 2022. There’s been tens of billions more in economic and other forms of assistance.

Joe Hoft reports that Zelensky may have been caught double-dealing on Ukraine’s rare-earth minerals.

A press release posted on a UK government website states that the “UK and Ukraine sign landmark 100-year partnership to deepen security ties and strengthen partnership for future generations,” in a deal dated January 16, 2025. This was four days before Trump was inaugurated.

It also cements the UK as a preferred partner for Ukraine’s energy sector, critical minerals strategy and green steel production,” according to the UK press release.

Perhaps Trump and his team learned about this deal before Zelensky arrived in DC and Zelensky didn’t tell him about it. And, if so, what does this say about our ally the UK?

CNN reports that Americans’ confidence in Ukrainian President Zelensky has sharply declined, from 72 percent in 2022 to 48 percent in 2024, and with support for the US backing Ukraine militarily dropping to 41 percent. When it comes to a negotiated peace deal between Russia and Ukraine, 78 percent of Americans are in favor, while only 16 percent oppose. And, yet, it appears that 90 percent or more of the mainstream corporate media takes the position of not wanting the war to stop and not wanting peace. Think about that.

South Carolina has declared a state of emergency as 175 wildfires burn across the state, consuming 4,200 acres and threatening dozens of homes. This has forced evacuations and the fire continues to spread, consuming thousands of acres with 0% containment as of Sunday night. 

Governor McMaster has also announced a statewide burning ban, warning that anyone who starts a fire will face jail time.

Firefighters were working against dry, windy conditions Sunday as they battled wildfires scorching parts of the Carolinas and forcing residents to evacuate their homes.

The fire threat continues for the region Sunday, including near Wilmington, North Carolina, and Charleston and Columbia, South Carolina, the National Weather Service warned.

In western North Carolina, near the towns of Tryon and Saluda, a brush fire caused by a power line that fell along US Highway 176 Saturday afternoon spread quickly up a nearby mountain and threatened several structures, Saluda Fire and Rescue said in a post that night. By 11:30 p.m., the fire had grown to 400 acres, with 0% containment. 

Polk County officials said several fire departments were responding to the blaze.

A passenger aboard a flight into Myrtle Beach on Saturday night captured video of a mass of smoke and fire billowing up into the sky from the plane window.

Let’s be honest here. Fires don’t break out and spread rapidly on March 1, at a time of year when dryness is not typically an issue.

The U.S. Department of Education launched a public portal on Thursday for parents, students, teachers, and communities to submit reports of discrimination based on woke gender ideology or racial division in public K-12 schools.

The portal is called the “End DEI” portal and allows the submission of an email address, the name of a student’s school or school district, and a text box with 450-word limit for detailing concerning practices.

A message at the top of the portal page reads:

“Schools should be focused on learning. The U.S. Department of Education is committed to ensuring all students have access to meaningful learning free of divisive ideologies and indoctrination. This submission form is an outlet for students, parents, teachers, and the broader community to report illegal discriminatory practices at institutions of learning.”

The Department of Education said it will use submissions as a guide to identify potential areas for investigation.

Tiffany Justice, co-founder of Moms for Liberty, said in a statement: 

“For years, parents have been begging schools to focus on teaching their kids practical skills like reading, writing, and math, instead of pushing critical theory, rogue sex education and divisive ideologies—but their concerns have been brushed off, mocked, or shut down entirely. Parents, now is the time that you share the receipts of the betrayal that has happened in our public schools. This webpage demonstrates that President Trump’s Department of Education is putting power back in the hands of parents.”

Transgender activists stormed the Iowa Capitol on Thursday as lawmakers consider a bill that would eliminate gender identity as a protected class from state civil rights law.

The Iowa State Capitol was mobbed last week by hundreds of trans rights activists who oppose the bill, waving pride flags, holding signs and chanting “no hate in our state” and “you represent us.” 

Well, guess what? These legislators also represent the public at large, and most Iowans don’t want their children being subjected to the moral filth of the trans-obsessed, queer-pride obsessed Democrats.

The protest followed a week of heated debate on the legislation, called House File 583. That legislation would remove so-called gender identity, the false concept that one can identify or become a different gender than that which they were born, as a protected class from the Iowa Civil Rights Act. The Iowa Civil Rights Act shields Iowans from discrimination in education, employment, housing, and more.

The hearing was the public’s final opportunity to weigh in on the legislation, according to the report. The Republican-controlled House and Senate are expected to vote on the bill on Thursday and send it to Republican Governor Kim Reynold’s desk for final approval.

According to the Des Moines Register, state troopers blocked off the hallway outside the committee room where the hearing was set to take place, “hoping to avoid a repeat of Monday when protesters’ chanting drowned out testimony during a subcommittee hearing and troopers arrested two people as they attempted to push the crowd back.”

The Iowa Civil Rights Act was enacted in 1965 and outlaws discrimination based on race, creed, color, sex, national origin, religion, and disability. Lawmakers added protections for sexual orientation and gender identity to the law in 2007, when Democrats were in control of the state legislature and the governor’s office. 

House File 583 would additionally require birth certificates in Iowa to reflect the biological reality of a person’s sex at birth and would redefine sex to mean “the state of being either male or female as observed or clinically verified at birth.”

Time now for our nightly Worldview Report commentary.

The Trump administration's agency audits and funding cuts have a wide spectrum of people in a panic, not just in the US but around the world. 

Zero Hedge noted that, for some Americans, this is not much of a revelation. It's been known for decades that the US taxpayer backstops numerous governments and NGOs.  Without US dollars many of these organizations, and some countries, would not exist. 

Zero Hedge’s Tyler Durden writes:

“However, seeing the beggars all come out of the woodwork at the same time to get their cut of the pie because the money is running dry is truly something to behold. Why has America become a cash cow for the entire world?  Call it an extension of globalism or the incremental sabotage of the US economy, the bottom line is that the US is the wealth generator for hundreds if not thousands of political and financial entities that do not have the best interests of Americans in mind.  US taxpayers are investing in their own destruction.”

And the United Nations is a prime example of this. It receives $18 billion from the US every year, and that's 20% of the UN's entire annual budget. 

If the US were to withhold that finding, the UN would collapse.

UN Secretary-General António Guterres has released a press statement calling for a reversal of funding cuts, warning that the organization cannot function without US dollars.

Does anyone believe the UN really provides any of those services that it claims to be doing? Fighting terrorism, for instance. We know for a fact that the UN has aided terrorism in Gaza. Counter narcotics programs? Fighting human trafficking? We know from our reporters on the ground in the Darien Gap and all the way up to the US-Mexico border, the UN has aided and abetted the flow of migrants, who are bought and sold by human traffickers on their way to America. 

So give me a break, Mr. General Secretary. In almost every case, the facts show that the UN works toward exactly the opposite outcomes that it claims.

And yes, we need to defund and deconstruct the United Nations, closing the chapter once and for all on this failed experiment.
