Running Against God. Our running prophet Elijah outran Ahab to Jezreel when he was running for God. But when he arrived at Jezreel, he met one who was running against God: Jezebel. Perhaps one of the most wicked women of all time, Jezebel despised Elijah, the man of courage. Strangely, however, Elijah's courage melted away and the one who was running for God now ran from God.
