Most of us are aware that public schools present a lot of information that is contrary to the teachings found in the Bible. But did you know this same information is also being taught in many churches? Thats right many churches, in order to be popular, are teaching politically correct philosophies rather than Gods Word. So what is this information? It includes: Abortion, Same sex marriage, and Moral relativism. In this session Lets focus on this last one: age of the earth. The assumption of long ages is an icon and foundational to the evolutionary model. Nearly every textbook and media journal teaches that the earth is billions of years old. Here is what we read in a H.S. biology textbook Using radioactive dating, scientists have determined that the Earth is about 4.5 billion years old, ancient enough for all species to have been formed through evolution. Biology: Visualizing Life, Holt, Rinehart, Winston, 1998, p.177. Two things about this statement 1. 4.5 billion years is not enough time, nor is a trillion years (cover that in another session) 2. How do they arrive at this 4.5 billion years? The primary dating method scientists use for determining the age of the earth is radioisotope dating.
