Iowa State Auditor David Vaudt updates Iowans on the looming budget crisis. So far in 2009, Senate President Mike Gronstal (D) denied a deficit and Governor Culver (D) ignored the Auditor’s request for a special session as late of Sept. Now the Governor is calling for cross –the-board cuts that will likely costs employees their jobs and taxpayers potential property tax hikes.
