Good evening and welcome to the Worldview Report.

Several major Wall Street investment firms were hit with damaging outages amid a widespread “Black Monday” market crash.

Global fears triggered a massive sell-off in stocks and cryptocurrencies that started over the weekend and ignited a bloodbath on Monday.

However, investors were hit with further frustration as computer systems also crashed at several major companies as traders scrambled to stem the bleeding.

Online services at Charles Schwab and Fidelity Investments experienced significant issues on Monday, Reuters reports.

The outages left many users unable to log into their accounts during a tumultuous trading session.

The outages coincided with a day of heightened market volatility around the world.

Investors dumped risky assets amidst growing concerns about a potential U.S. recession.

Wall Street’s main indexes plummeted on Monday across the board, led by a 1,075-point drop in the Dow Jones Industrials and an even bigger drop of nearly 4 percent in the NASDAQ. Japan’s stock market lost 12 percent of its value.

The plunge was driven by a combination of weak economic data, disappointing second-quarter earnings from technology giants, and escalating geopolitical tensions.

Joe Biden insisted the Biden-Harris administration “cured the economy” just days before the Dow dropped 900 points and the NASDAQ sank 6 percent in a global market meltdown Monday morning.

Biden was stopped last Tuesday by a reporter who asked what he thought his legacy as president would be.

Less than a week later, economists started questioning the strength of Biden’s economy, Japan raised a key interest rate, and that was all it took to spook investors into one of the biggest selloffs in years.

And make no mistake, this historic collapse helps one person politically more than any other.

That would be Donald J. Trump.

CBS News/YouGov polling shows that a near majority (45 percent) of registered voters believe their “personal finances” will be better off if former President Donald Trump defeats Vice President Kamala Harris in November. Only 25 percent say the same if Harris wins. And that was before Monday’s market crash.

The truth is this economy has always been much worse than advertised, but the politicians and the media kept it hidden from the American public, refusing to report on the underpinning weakness being caused by open borders, record-high national debt and high interest rates. All of that was bound to catch up with us eventually. And whether or not Trump can fix it, or maybe it’s beyond fixing, remains to be seen.

Lauren Fix, writing for Car Coach Reports, has a new article on how artificial intelligence used in new speed cameras being installed on roads will be able to spy on drivers inside their cars.

These new AI cameras are set to be rolled out across the U.S. to catch motorists using mobile phones at the wheel or failing to wear seatbelts. This invasive technology is being rolled out in the UK first and will undoubtedly make its way to other countries not soon after.

The new AI technology is enabling police not only to catch speeding drivers but also clamp down on motorists distracted by their phones even if they have them on their lap while at the wheel.

This sounds like an Orwellian nightmare.

At least a quarter of the 44 police forces in England, Wales, and Scotland are already deploying cameras that can catch motorists using mobile phones at the wheel. If caught, drivers holding a handheld device behind the wheel can face six penalty points and a $250 fine, increasing to $1,300 and a driving ban if you’re taken to court.

The unproven AI-powered video analytics should not be used to monitor and criminalize drivers, Fix says. This kind of surveillance treats every driver as a potential suspect and is a threat to everyone’s privacy.

Here in the U.S., states can now access billions in funding for speed cameras under Joe Biden’s infrastructure law. This is the same infrastructure bill that brings us the remote kill switches that will be mandated for every new car sold by 2026. Fully $15.6 billion that has been allocated to highway and roadway safety is going toward installing automated traffic enforcement, such as speed and red-light cameras as well as automated traffic enforcement.

Firearms channels on YouTube are at risk of losing their channels or potentially being removed from the platform entirely.

Hickok45, one of the largest and longest-running firearms channels on YouTube with 7.73 million subscribers, posted a recent video warning that their channel’s future hangs in the balance because of a new privacy policy issued by Google, which owns YouTube.

The policy states that videos cannot contain sponsorships from firearms companies or those dealing in firearms accessories. All videos published after June 18th of this year will be removed and the channel will receive strikes and face possible termination for violations of the new policy going forward. Videos published prior to June 18th will simply be removed.

Greg Kinman and his son John said they spoke with their YouTube representative who informed them of the new policy’s overarching affects. The policy was quietly implemented on June 18th without their knowledge.

In the case the Kinmans, they said this affects roughly 95% of all the content on their channel, which could result in practically all of their work, produced over the span of 15-20 years, being removed from the platform.

Greg said:

“We’re trying to be optimistic. Hopefully, something can be done, and we can figure out a way to keep rolling. All these things that were perfectly fine for what, 15-20 years, are suddenly horrible.”

Dr. Peter Hotez, a darling of the Gates-funded World Health Organization, has suggested that Homeland Security and the Justice Department should be deployed against “anti-vaxxers” in the U.S.

And on a global scale, Hotez said, NATO should be deployed against those who refuse to get jabbed.

The Exposé reports that at the end of last month, the WHO announced a new project to turbo-charge the development and distribution of mRNA vaccines in underdeveloped countries for, they say, a looming bird flu pandemic.

Medical Press reports:

“The UN health agency said the project would be rolled out through the mRNA technology transfer program it established with the UN-backed Medicines Patent Pool (MPP) in 2021, at the height of the Covid-19 crisis.”

A couple of weeks earlier, Dr. Peter Hotez, a prominent vaccine developer and advocate, called for deploying security forces, including police and military, to counter “anti-vaccine aggression” in the United States. He also suggested that the United Nations and NATO deploy security forces against “anti-vaxxers.”

In a story that seems to have dropped off the national media on Monday, migrant gangs are continuing to attack native Brits across the U.K.

Some of the latest violence broke out in the city of Birmingham, England.

The violence was touched off last week by a brutal mass murder in which an 18-year-old son of migrants from Rwanda used a steak knife to kill three young British girls at a Taylor Swift dance event and seriously injured 10 others.

You won’t see these types of clips on the corporate news media, but they’re all over X, and we think it’s important to show. Why? Because this could very well be in America’s future, after Joe Biden flooded the country with 20 to 30 million new illegal aliens in less than four years.

Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina formally resigned from her position on Monday and fled the Muslim-majority country to India.

An interim government will now need to be formed, according to the Army’s top chief General.

Hasina, 76, is reportedly being flown in a military helicopter with her sister and other family members to India.

Reservation quotas in government jobs have sparked protests and violence. Protestors, as of last week, began calling for the ouster of Hasina, who won a fourth term in January, which was boycotted by the opposition.

According to Reuters, thousands have been injured and 250 people have been killed.

Joe Biden convened his national security council on Monday afternoon as the U.S. has warned its top Middle East ally Israel that an Iranian attack is imminent.

The defense chiefs of both countries are also said to be discussing a “series of scenarios and corresponding defensive, offensive capabilities.”

Biden also plans to speak with Jordan's King Adbullah, the White House has confirmed.

Axios reported Sunday that the message being conveyed abroad by Secretary of State Antony Blinken is that while Washington doesn't know the exact timing of the attacks, they could start as early as the next 24-48 hours, which would mean as soon as tonight or tomorrow.

A Wall Street Journal article said Iran has told Arab diplomats that “it didn’t care” if its response triggered a major war.

Tehran said in a statement Monday its intent is not to escalate, but to “punish” Israel for the killing of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh on Iranian soil, and that it won't be dissuaded.

In a major sign of imminent war, Iran on Monday reportedly began clearing out its airspace by issuing NOTAM alerts, which is a notice alerting an aircraft of dangers en route, for the center, west, and northwest of the country, advising aircraft to change their routes.

Jewish News Syndicate reports that soldiers with the Israel Defense Forces operating in southern Gaza have discovered dozens of cross-border tunnels used by Hamas terrorists to smuggle weapons into the enclave from Egypt.

The military announcement said:

“In recent operational activity, IDF troops destroyed dozens of tunnel routes in the area of the Philadelphi Corridor and continue to locate additional ones.”

The Gaza Strip has an 8.5-mile border with Egypt’s Sinai Peninsula.

One of the smuggling routes—which soldiers discovered early last week and that was large enough for vehicles to drive through—was dug directly underneath an Egyptian army position on the border, photos show.

The IDF said in a release:

“At this time, the forces are continuing to discover and neutralize the underground route that was detected, in addition to other large-scale routes that were found,” adding that it “will thoroughly destroy all underground infrastructures on the Philadelphi Corridor and will act resolutely to prevent their formation in the future.”

The Supreme Court on Monday refused to delay former President Donald Trump's sentencing or lift a gag order in Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg's hush money case until after the election, Reuters reported.

Trump is scheduled to face sentencing on September 18. A jury in May found him guilty of 34 counts of falsifying business records in connection with a 2016 payment his then-attorney, Michael Cohen, made to Stormy Daniels.

The court's decision was not the result of direct legal action from Trump, but from Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey, who sued New York on the grounds that the gag order against Trump and the case infringed on voters' rights to hear from the former president and current 2024 GOP presidential nominee.

New York Attorney General Letitia James had asked the Supreme Court to dismiss the case, asserting that “Missouri’s suit is based entirely on an ongoing criminal case between the Manhattan DA and former President Trump and does not present an actual controversy between sovereign States.”

Trump, for his part, lost an appeal last week to lift the remaining portions of a gag order that Judge Juan Merchan imposed as part of the case.

Time now for our Worldview Report commentary.

Slay News reports that Bill Gates is pumping millions into efforts to flood the human food supply with hyper-processed products made from genetically modified insects.

Yes, you heard that right. GMO bugs are coming to your dinner table, if you allow it.

Gates and his foundation have been investing in the development of the products while pressuring U.S. regulators to pave the way for insect-based so-called foods to be sold in American stores.

The plan is not new, as Gates has been pushing for bugs to be fed to people for over a decade.

In 2012, his foundation funded a project called “All Things Bugs.”

According to Gates, the project sought to “develop a novel food product made from insects to treat malnutrition in children from famine-stricken areas of the world.”

Since then, the company has expanded into developing genetically modified insects.

Disturbingly, the development of these products has been advanced with help from the U.S. Department of Defense.

Regulators in non-U.S. countries, including Singapore, have recently issued approvals for specific insect-based foods.

But the regulatory landscape is more of a gray area in the U.S., reports Slay News.

There is no legal approval process or clear-cut prohibition of insects for human consumption.

As a result, insect-containing foods have already infiltrated the American food supply.

Insects reach U.S. consumers in a variety of forms, such as crickets and grasshoppers in protein bars or protein shakes.

With few U.S. regulatory barriers to contend with, investors like Bill Gates and Big Food giants such as Tyson Foods have also begun investing in so-called alternative protein startups.

Since its launch in 2012, Gates-funded All Things Bugs has expanded into the development of genetically modified insects.

The company also received taxpayer funding from the DOD’s Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA). DARPA is the DOD’s research and development agency.

The company states:

“We are using CRISPR/Cas9 gene editing and other methodologies to develop base technologies for creating insects as a new bioresource.”

All Things Bugs said that while insects are “a very sustainable source of protein,” it “is innovating to make them a feasible commodity for the food industry.”

In a statement about the project, Claire Robinson, the managing editor of GMWatch, said:

“With all GMOs, including insects, it’s vital that they are subjected to a pre-marketing risk assessment for health and the environment.

“This includes testing them for the presence of pathogens, possible allergens, and substances that may be toxic to humans. Then they must be clearly labeled for the consumer.”

In a February blog post, Gates said he invested in Savor, a startup producing butter made from air (carbon dioxide) and water (hydrogen), as Slay News reported.
