Good evening and welcome to the Worldview Report.

Vladimir Putin, in his annual state of the nation address, warned Western leaders that if they put troops on the ground in Ukraine, they will experience hell’s fury in terms of a Russian nuclear attack. Putin delivered the comments Thursday in his strongest and most direct warning yet that Western troops in Ukraine will not be tolerated by Moscow.

AP reports that Putin underscored his readiness to hold Russian gains in Ukraine at any cost.

In a thinly veiled reference to French President Emmanuel Macron’s statement earlier this week that the future deployment of Western ground troops to Ukraine is possible, Putin warned it would lead to “tragic” consequences for the countries who decide to do that, repeating earlier warnings of igniting global nuclear conflagration.

As we reported earlier this week, Macron said sending Western troops to Ukraine “could not be ruled out” and that “we must do whatever we can to obtain our objective.”

“Nothing should be excluded. We will do everything that we can to make sure that Russia does not prevail.”

Putin noted that while the U.S. and its allies accuse Russia of having plans to attack NATO allies in Europe, these same Western allies were “selecting targets for striking our territory and selecting the most efficient as they think striking assets and talking about the possibility of sending a NATO contingent to Ukraine.”

He added:

“We remember the fate of those who sent their troop contingents to the territory of our country. Now the consequences for the potential invaders will be far more tragic.”

Putin has now made it clear that this is not an option. Will the West take him at his word, or continue to back him into a corner on Ukraine? What is it, exactly, about Ukraine that Western leaders seem so invested in that they will risk nuclear annihilation for it? We already know that the CIA has at least 12 secret spy bases set up in Ukraine over a ten-year period starting with the CIA-backed coup in 2014. We know there are biolabs in Ukraine as well. We know the Bidens made a lot of money in Ukraine as part of the family business, which amounted to influence peddling while Biden was serving as vice president.

There’s a lot more to this story, and it will all come out in time.

New York Attorney General Letitia James is now seeking to punish the world’s largest producer of beef products for failing to live up to their pledge of running a “net zero” meatpacking operation.

A far-left judge recently ordered President Trump to pay a $355 million judgment (which has now swelled to $464 million with interest) and banned Trump from doing business in New York for three years after Letitia James sought to destroy the former president.

Now, the same Letitia James is waging a war on meatpacking giant JBS USA Foods Company.

Reuters reported that the lawsuit filed in a New York state court in Manhattan seeks a $5,000 civil fine per violation of state business laws, and to recoup ill-gotten gains from false sustainability claims.

Letitia James said on X:

“I’m suing @JBSFoodsUSA, the world’s largest beef producer, for misleading the public about its environmental impact. The beef industry is one of the largest contributors to climate change, and JBS has falsely advertised its commitment to sustainability and endangered our planet.”

Stacy Wakefield, the widow of former Boston Red Sox pitcher and two-time World Series champion Tim Wakefield, has died.

Her family said in a statement released through the Red Sox that she died Wednesday at her Massachusetts home, less than five months after her husband died at the age of 57. Stacy was 53.

The family mentioned a diagnosis of cancer but did not provide a cause of death. In September, Tim's former Red Sox teammate Curt Schilling said on a podcast both of the Wakefields had been diagnosed with cancer. Schilling said Tim had brain cancer and Stacy had pancreatic cancer. The news came with an outpouring of support for the Wakefields and criticism for Schilling disclosing the matter without their permission.

Schilling said he gave the information because he was asking for prayer for the Wakefield family, not to spread gossip.

Stacy and Tim are survived by their children, Trevor and Brianna.

Stacy worked alongside her husband in raising money for multiple charitable groups, including the Red Sox Foundation. They also worked with the Jimmy Fund, visiting with patients and raising funds for the childhood cancer charity.

CNN reports that Swedish soccer star Kristoffer Olsson has been hospitalized and placed on a ventilator, seemingly due to an “acute disease related to the brain,” according to a statement from his team on Tuesday.

The 28-year-old is reported to have lost consciousness at his home on February 20 and was taken to a hospital in Denmark, where he continues to receive treatment.

Olsson, who has played 47 times for his country and once represented English Premier League club Arsenal, has been surrounded by immediate family and club staff since being admitted to the hospital, the team added.

The club said it released the statement after rumors started spreading online about Olsson’s continued absence from the team. His team asked for privacy to allow the midfielder and his family to focus on recovery. When they ask for privacy, that’s often code for “don’t ask about the vax.”

Television and film actor Chris Gauthier died suddenly last week at the age of 48, according to news reports.

The television entertainment website TVLine reported that Gauthier died last Friday, February 23rd. No official cause of death had been announced.

The English-born Canadian, who played the character Winslow Schott on the hit TV show Smallville, died “suddenly and unexpectedly following a short illness,” a manager for Gauthier confirmed to TVLine.

Aside from his character in Smallville, Gauthier starred on the SyFy network show Eureka from 2006 until 2012 and on the ABC fantasy drama Once Upon a Time and on the show Supernatural.

A group of world-renowned pathologists has published the results of a peer-reviewed autopsy study that shows sudden deaths among people vaccinated with Covid mRNA shots are being caused by mild and undetectable cases of myocarditis.

The paper for the study, conducted by pathologists in Japan, was published in February by the U.S. National Institutes of Health.

The Japanese pathologists found that Covid mRNA injections are causing heart damage in people who are unaware of the issue until it is too late.

Myocarditis is inflammation of the heart muscle and it is a known side effect of the Covid shots.

The inflammation can reduce the heart’s ability to pump blood and lead to cardiac arrest, stroke, blood clots, and death.

Most people who suffer from myocarditis are unaware that they have it until they experience symptoms such as critical heart failure.

The Japanese study reports the findings of an autopsy of a healthy 40-year-old man who lost consciousness two days after vaccination and died nine days later. It states:

“Influenza antigen and PCR tests for SARS-CoV-2 were negative.”

RINO Senator John Cornyn of Texas has officially entered the race to succeed Minority Leader and fellow RINO Mitch McConnell.

The 82-year-old McConnell announced he would be stepping down as leader of the Senate GOP in November.

Cornyn, in a statement, explained why he decided to run to succeed McConnell.

Cornyn promised to “fix the senate” and also claimed he would improve communication between members, move spending bills individually and try to include every member in decisions. The AP notes this is in response to constant complaints from some senators about year-end spending bills and McConnell’s leadership approach.

As The Hill notes, Cornyn is widely expected to face off against Senate Minority Whip John Thune (R-S.D.) and Senator John Barrasso (R-Wyo.) for the post.

One source told the outlet that Thune and Cornyn were on speed-dial with other members on Wednesday afternoon as they prepared to run. All three are RINOs who have delivered next to nothing in the way of truly conservative legislation. All three are neocon war hawks who have done much in support of the Washington Uniparty’s perpetual wars in Iraq, Syria, Ukraine and elsewhere.

Border agents arrested three Chinese nationals while they were illegally crossing the northern border of the U.S. into Maine near Fort Fairfield early on Wednesday morning.  

According to reporting from local outlet Maine Wire, the three unidentified Chinese nationals were crossing the border and got intercepted by authorities with U.S. Customs and Border Protection.

A CBP statement read:

“After noticing suspicious activity along the border, vigilant Fort Fairfield Border Patrol agents arrested three Chinese nationals attempting to use the cover of darkness to illegally enter the United States. A driver from New York, also a Chinese national who is already in immigration proceedings, was also arrested and suspected of attempting to further the illegal entry.”

A fourth Chinese national, who was operating a vehicle at the time, was also arrested on suspicions of assisting the others cross the border illegally.  

It was not immediately known if the nationals were part of what the Department of Homeland Security has called the Asian Transnational Criminal Organizations. 

According to a memo from DHS, these criminal organizations run drug operations through the northern border of Maine. The proceeds of the operations are used to finance human smuggling, drug trafficking, and other criminal enterprises.  

The arrests were made amidst an ongoing increase of Chinese illegal immigrants coming into the U.S. The number of Chinese nationals caught at the U.S.-Mexico border has skyrocketed by 4,000 percent since 2021 when Biden took office. More than 100,000 Chinese have entered the U.S. illegally in just the last two years.

Biden’s DHS has also lessened the vetting process for these illegal immigrants flooding into the country. The list of interview questions for vetting was cut from 40 to just five. The northern border saw an overall increase in illegal crossings by 550 percent in 2023 alone.

The Independent Sentinel reports that there has been a shocking 7300% spike in the number of illegal migrants from Venezuela under the Biden regime’s open-border policies. They are here to stay. One just killed an innocent nursing student and left her body and skull disfigured. He was a criminal, as is his brother, who was given a job at the University of Georgia, where the murdered woman, Laken Riley, died.

The Biden regime has trafficked hundreds of thousands of Venezuelans into the country over the last three years. Venezuela’s violent crime has dropped precipitously over the same three-year period. It’s now obvious why. Venezuela has emptied out its prisons.

Laken Riley’s murderer and his brother had fake green cards. They were caught but given parole, the loosey-goosey parole that Biden and Mayorkas have ordered given out willy-nilly. They claimed the ridiculous “credible fear” that gets everyone into this country as an asylum seeker. They were drunk drivers, shoplifters, and now one’s a murderer. They were probably criminals in their home country, too.

You should know that the accused killer, an illegal alien from Venezuela, moved to Athens, Georgia, because it’s a sanctuary for illegal migrants. 

The mayor of Athens, Kelly Girtz, blamed Donald Trump for the issue. But Girtz is the one who oversees a sanctuary city that allows criminals from foreign countries to hide out.

Here is the mayor being called out by Athens’ residents during a press conference in which he tried to deny his city was a sanctuary city.

You could hear the anger in those people’s voices, calling him a liar. Let’s hope that anger translates into that mayor being replaced with an actual American patriot.

U.S. District Judge David Ezra, a Reagan appointee, issued a temporary injunction Thursday, February 29, that blocked a Texas law that gave local police the power to arrest illegal aliens.

ABC News reported:

“The preliminary injunction granted by U.S. District Judge David Ezra pauses a law that was set to take effect March 5 and came as President Joe Biden and his likely Republican challenger in November, Donald Trump, were visiting Texas’ southern border to discuss immigration. Texas officials are expected to appeal.” 

In December Governor Greg Abbott signed a bill that gives Texas police power to arrest illegal aliens amid Biden’s border invasion.

The Miami Herald revealed this week that Reps. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) and Pramila Jayapal (D-WA) traveled to communist Cuba at an unspecified time in February – a visit the Cuban government has yet to discuss and the lawmakers did not publicize.

The Congresswomen reportedly met with Castro regime officials as part of a secret delegation representing the Congressional Progressive Caucus, the Miami Herald reported. 

In addition to the two lawmakers, a representative from the office of Rep. Barbara Lee (D-CA) also reportedly attended.

Following the publication of its report on Tuesday, the caucus issued a statement confirming the visit. A spokesperson told the Herald:

“Representatives Jayapal and Omar traveled to Cuba last week, where they met with people from across Cuban civil society and government officials to discuss human rights and the U.S.-Cuba bilateral relationship.”

The details of the trip remain a mystery. Outside of the statement from the Progressive Caucus, the members of Congress involved have not commented. The Cuban Communist Party has not addressed the reports of their visit, nor has its official state newspaper.

The Daily Mail reports that horrified users of the Coinbase cryptocurrency shared their shock at discovering their accounts on the crypto trading app had been wiped out.

Stunned users took to the internet Wednesday to say their balances had been reduced to zero without warning. 

One X user called K.Rich wrote: “Good to know everyone else's #Coinbase account is zero as well because I was about to cry in my car.”

Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong told Nasdaq that the outage came about after a large surge of traffic that overwhelmed the platform. It is thought to be linked to Bitcoin surging to $63,000 per coin – close to its all-time high.

The German automaker Volkswagen features two lesbians getting married in its new commercial, “Big Game.” The ad depicts two women dressed in wedding attire, leaving a little white chapel, hand in hand after their ceremony. They then kiss in their Volkswagen before driving away. Obviously, Volkswagen is promoting same-sex marriage to please a small percentage of customers while pushing away conservative customers.

Volkswagen is using its ad to belittle the sanctity of marriage while attempting to redefine, in typical Marxist fashion, what makes a family. 

As noted by the organization One Million Moms, this Volkswagen advertisement is pushing the LGBTQ agenda and an even greater concern is that the controversial commercial is airing when children are likely to be watching. The ad first aired a couple of weeks ago during the 2024 Super Bowl, but even worse, it is also seen by unsuspecting young audiences on Disney+.

With this ad, Volkswagen crossed a line that never should have been crossed. By doing so, Western civilization is left holding the baggage, and suffering the consequences of moral rot in our culture. Even if you do not agree with folks like myself about the putrid moral signals being sent over the airwaves by ads like this, maybe you would agree that it is not a retailer’s job to target children with whatever “social issues” they may happen to favor.
