Good evening everyone and welcome to the Worldview Report.

Pedro Gonzalez, a writer and editor at Chronicles magazine, has a bombshell article posted at his Contra Substack account.

Gonzalez reports that Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett said Russia and Ukraine seemed eager to end the fighting early last year. But the U.S. and its allies had other plans.

Naftali Bennett, then the prime minister of Israel, found himself praying aboard a cramped, decrepit plane last year as it flew over Kazakhstan. The long flight, arranged with help from the Mossad, was bound for Moscow on a desperate mission: broker peace between Russia and Ukraine just after the two countries had gone to war.

According to Bennett, Russian President Vladimir Putin made two major concessions during their March 5 meeting. First, he renounced “denazification”—that is, regime change in Kiev. Second, he dropped his demand for Ukraine’s demilitarization. Bennett said President Volodymyr Zelensky agreed to abandon Ukraine’s pursuit of NATO membership in exchange. Both Putin and Zelensky seemed eager to end the fighting. But the U.S. had other plans.

Bennett said a “decision by the West” was made “to keep striking Putin” through Ukraine. “They blocked it and I thought they were wrong,” he said. Bennett noted that the governments of Germany and France were pragmatic toward the idea compared to the U.S. and the U.K., which took a more belligerent attitude against Russia.

Considering the U.K. is little more than a neutered lapdog of D.C., it is more than likely that it was the U.S. who decided to keep the war going. Indeed, Bennett said he deferred “to America in this regard.”

Arkansas’s new Governor, Sarah Huckabee Sanders, characterized Joe Biden as being too old and too cozy with the woke and crazy segments of the Democratic Party, in her Republican rebuttal to Tuesday night’s State of the Union address. 

“At 40, I'm the youngest governor in the country. At 80, he's the oldest president in American history,” the former Trump White House press secretary said. “I'm the first woman to lead my state. He's the first man to surrender his presidency to a woke mob that can't even tell you what a woman is.”

Sanders - addressing the country from Little Rock - leaned heavily into culture war themes, including that Biden is part of the “radical left,” which teaches children to “hate one another on account of their race.”

“Whether Joe Biden believes this madness or is simply too weak to resist it, his administration has been completely hijacked by the radical left,” she said, adding: “The dividing line in America is no longer between right or left. The choice is between normal or crazy.”

Sanders, who was sworn-in last month, highlighted her own culture war fight since taking office - banning the use of the term LatinX, which doesn't specify a gender, and signing an executive order banning the teaching of critical race theory because it demonizes all white people.

A bombshell article by journalist Seymore Hersh reports that specialized U.S. Navy diving teams carried out the bombing attack against the underwater Nord Stream pipelines which supply Russian gas to western Europe during a top-secret mission overseen by Joe Biden.

Divers planted C4 explosives on three Nord Stream pipelines in June 2022 which were detonated three months later using a sonar buoy which broadcast a signal that triggered the bombs, according to the report.

The attack was carried out in response to Vladimir Putin's invasion of Ukraine and designed to force Germany and other European nations to end their reliance on Russian gas, it is claimed. The move would also disrupt Moscow's income from gas sales - which have contributed billions of dollars to its war effort.

The report by Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Hersh, published to his Substack, cites a source “with direct knowledge of the operational planning” behind the alleged plot.

Nord Stream 1 and 2 pipelines were sabotaged by bomb blasts on September 26 2022 in an attack that, ostensibly, continues to baffle investigators. While analysts say the immediate impact of the attack was “limited” – because the pipelines were not fully operational – the geopolitical consequences were huge.

Former University of Georgia women’s tennis player Lilly Kimbell, died suddenly and unexpectedly on February 5th at the age of 31 of a heart attack.

Kimbell is one of the most accomplished female doubles competitors in UGA history. She and Maho Kowase had a 22-match winning streak in doubles during the spring of their sophomore year, which remains a school record.

Kimbell played doubles for Georgia in the 2013 and 2014 seasons. During that time, Georgia won the SEC Tournament in her first season and the conference regular-season title in her second season in 2014. 

The Bulldogs made it at least as far as the NCAA quarterfinals in each of Kimbell’s four years at the university.

In a statement following Kimbell’s passing, Georgia head coach Jeff Wallace said Lilly and Maho would go down as an all-time double great within the program. He added his thoughts and prayers to those of the tennis star.

Wallace said the entire Georgia tennis program was shocked and heartbroken when they learned of Lilly’s passing.

A young basketball player in Greece has suddenly died of a heart attack.

Vassilis Christodoulou died suddenly and unexpectedly at the age of 21, after suffering a heart attack at his home, reports the Greek website ThemaNews.com.

He played on the “Knights of Charilaou” team.

The club said goodbye to him with the following announcement: “After the sudden death of Vassilis Christodoulou, everything is on the back burner… for the time being the team’s page will not be updated…”

He is one of many young athletes that have suddenly died over the past year from heart problems around the world, with scientists failing to explain the spike in similar heart or coronary-related deaths of young people.

Between buying up valuable American farmland and flying surveillance balloons over the country without consequence, China’s footprint in the United States has become far too large for many Americans, and some have decided to take a stand, according to a report by the Western Journal.

After a long, drawn-out process that lasted over a year, Mayor Brandon Bochenski of Grand Forks, North Dakota, was finally able to obtain answers from the U.S. government regarding whether or not a Chinese-backed corn mill project, set to be built within a few miles of the Grand Forks Air Force Base, was a national security risk and overall bad idea.

The government finally agreed that it did pose a national security risk, which gave the mayor the ammo he needed to shut it down.

This week, as the Grand Forks City Council voted to crush the Fufeng Group corn mill project, residents in attendance cheered and chanted, “USA! USA!”

Fox Business reported that the city council shut the project down in a unanimous 5-0 decision on Monday evening. The Chinese-owned group still legally owns the roughly 300 acres it purchased for the project but will not be able to proceed with its original plans for a corn mill.

Bochenski said his initial inquiries regarding the proposed corn mill and its proximity to the Air Force base were practically brushed off.

Bochenski told Fox News:

“We initially reached out to the FBI, then the [Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States] committee. They really came forth with a lackluster answer that left a lot of questions that needed to be answered.” 

It was only after Air Force Assistant Secretary Andrew Hunter got involved that things changed.

Hunter sent a letter to North Dakota’s senators expressing his concerns that the project would pose a national security risk given its 12-mile proximity to the Air Force base.

Hunter wrote:

“The Department’s view is unambiguous: The proposed project presents a significant threat to national security with both near- and long-term risks of significant impacts to our operations in the area.”

In July, CNBC reported that Grand Forks Air Force Base is home to “some of the nation’s most sensitive military drone technology.” The outlet added that the base houses a brand-new “space networking center,” which was described by a North Dakota senator as the “backbone” of all global U.S. military communications.

The fact that the Chinese were even allowed to purchase land this close to such a sensitive military installation is astonishing and should be a wakeup call to all Americans.

A 73-year-old Arizona rancher was arrested and charged with first-degree murder for fatally shooting a Mexican migrant on his ranch.

George Alan Kelly, 73, was arrested in connection with the killing of Gabriel Cuen-Butimea, on his Arizona ranch in Kino Springs just outside of Nogales, Mexico, on January 30.

Kelly is being held at the Santa Cruz County jail on $1 million bond.

Kelly asked the judge to reduce his bail so he can go home to take care of his wife.

According to Nogales International, Kelly told the judge:

“She’s there by herself… nobody to take care of her, the livestock or the ranch. And I’m not going anywhere. I can’t come up with a million dollars.”

According to reports, Gabriel Cuen-Butimea has a history of illegally crossing into the United States and multiple deportations.

He is believed to have been in the U.S. illegally when he was fatally shot.

Authorities found a Mexican voter registration card on his person.

Nogales International reported that George Alan Kelly made his initial appearance Tuesday morning at Nogales Justice Court, where Justice of the Peace Emilio Velasquez set bond at $1 million.

Chief Deputy Gerardo Castillo of the Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s Office said investigators were still trying to clarify the circumstances surrounding the incident, as well as establish a motive.

A sheriff’s dispatch report shows a call coming in at 2:40 p.m. Monday from the U.S. Border Patrol, relaying information about a “possible active shooter” in the area of Sagebrush Road. The Border Patrol had apparently received a report from a person at the scene, who mentioned a “group of people running” and said he “was unsure if he was getting shot at as well.”

The entry identified the person at the scene as “Allen.”

Castillo said sheriff’s deputies responded to the area following that report, but found nothing.

However, at 5:56 p.m., the sheriff’s office received another report of shots fired at the property. This time, at 6:24 p.m., deputies located the body of a deceased adult Hispanic male, Castillo said.

There was no weapon found on or near the victim, whose body was discovered 100 to 150 yards from Kelly’s home with one visible gunshot wound, he said.

In another terrifying report from the chaotic U.S. southern border, Texas law enforcement arrested an Iranian man at the southern border last week whose name and date of birth were initially flagged as a match on the FBI’s terror watchlist.

But a DHS official now tells Fox News that the illegal man, smuggled into the U.S. in the trunk of a car, was ultimately determined after “further vetting” to not be a match on the terror-watch database.

Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) arrested 29-year-old Alireza Heidari last week after a traffic stop involving a human smuggler at the border in Val Verde County, Texas, as part of Operation Lone Star.

Heidari was being smuggled in the vehicle trunk along with four other illegal migrants. Fox News was told that Heidari was handed over to Border Patrol custody and later determined to be a match of the FBI’s Terrorist Screening Database (TSDB). 

However, on Wednesday, a DHS official told Fox News that after further vetting, Homeland Security officials determined that Heidari was not a match on the TSDB. 

This sounds fishy, to say the least. Given the FBI and DOJ track record, this report by Fox News debunking its earlier report lacks credibility. 

There were 98 terror watchlist arrests in FY22, 15 in FY21 and just three in FY 20 at the southern border caught between ports of entry.

Canadian high school student Josh Alexander was arrested and charged this morning at his school for attending class.  

“I have just been arrested and charged at my Catholic high school for attending class after being excluded for indicating my intent to adhere to my religious beliefs,” tweeted Alexander this morning.

Alexander protested his Catholic school, St. Joseph’s, last year allowing gender-confused males to use girls’ bathrooms and was then suspended. His tweet included a photo of him in front of his school and being taken into custody by members of the Ontario Provincial Police.  

Alexander told LifeSite News:

“I was arrested and charged with trespassing today. I chose to attend school regardless of an unlawful exclusion order. I respectfully declined multiple demands to leave class. The entire class was dismissed while the staff handled my situation. Shortly after, Ontario Provincial Police arrived and asked me to leave. Once again, I respectfully declined and they arrested me.”  

Josh’s attorney, James Kitchen, the chief litigator for Liberty Coalition Canada (LCC), told LifeSiteNews that Alexander’s decision to go back to school today was “an intelligent choice of a young man who knows what he is doing.”

At a House Oversight Committee hearing on the censorship of Americans’ speech, a Republican lawmaker admitted she has suffered severe side effects of the experimental mRNA Covid injection.

Congresswoman Nancy Mace, Republican of South Carolina, took the microphone early into the hearing and RIPPED INTO the fired Twitter officials who censored free speech on COVID, Hunter Biden’s laptop, and Covid vaccine injuries.

Mace said she now suffers from asthma and tremors following her second COVID shot.

“Twitter worked overtime to suppress accurate Covid information,” Mace said, adding that “I have great regrets about getting this shot… and I know that I am not the only American who has those kinds of concerns.”

Time now for our Worldview Report commentary.

U.S. Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell was seen in attendance at Joe Biden’s rambling, incoherent State of the Union speech making a bold fashion statement that displayed his true allegiance, and it’s not to the United States of America.

Instead of donning America’s red, white, and blue, he opted for a tie emblazoned with the colors of the Ukrainian flag: blue and yellow.

McConnell was displaying the colors of the banner he represents.

Since Russia’s invasion of Ukraine one year ago, the Senate minority leader has been one of Washington’s biggest advocates of shipping endless U.S. taxpayer dollars and military hardware overseas to fund the conflict. 

According to Shawn Fleetwood at The Federalist, in May of last year, McConnell issued “the most tone-deaf statement imaginable by claiming that ‘we all agree the most important thing going on in the world right now is the war in Ukraine.’”

It’s clear that McConnell doesn’t get out much beyond the Capitol Beltway’s ring of globalist warmongering elites.

His ridiculously out-of-touch comment came at a time when Americans were saying in poll after poll that inflation and the economy were their most important issues heading into the 2022 midterms.

Rather than encourage the White House to push for a peaceful resolution to the ongoing conflict, Fleetwood notes that McConnell has been at the apex of Senate efforts to throw more dollars and military help at Ukraine. During December’s negotiations on the $1.7 trillion omnibus spending bill, which passed as a result of Senate Republican support and will further increase America’s ballooning national debt, McConnell made more aid to Ukraine one of his top spending priorities. 

In 2022 alone, McConnell helped approve over $100 billion in aid and military assistance to the eastern European nation.

So McConnell showing his true colors at the State of the Union address was axiomatic of a larger problem, not just with McConnell but the majority of Republicans who seem to want war with Russia.

Fleetwood sums it up well, writing:

“McConnell’s Hollywood-style fashion statement on Tuesday night was a message not only to Ukraine but to Republican voters. The blue and yellow tie is just another signal from McConnell to conservatives that their priorities mean jack squat to him and his friends in Republican leadership. It’s a clear display of the elitist attitude felt by many within GOP ranks, who see Republican voters as nothing more than tools to be used every election cycle to maintain their hold on power.”
