A New York state judge on Monday found former President Trump in contempt of court for not turning over documents after he was ordered to comply with a subpoena from the New York attorney general’s office, according to a report by The Hill.

New York Supreme Court Judge Arthur Engoron ordered Trump to pay $10,000 a day until he’s in compliance with the document demands.

New York’s radical progressive Democrat Attorney General Letitia James, whose candidacy was funded by globalist billionaire George Soros, applauded the ruling.

“Today, justice prevailed,” James said in a statement, adding: “For years, Donald Trump has tried to evade the law and stop our lawful investigation into him and his company’s financial dealings. Today’s ruling makes clear: No one is above the law.”

Judge Engoron rejected Trump’s challenge to the subpoena of his records, ordering the former president to sit for a deposition and turn over any requested records in his possession or control.

Alina Habba, Trump’s attorney, said the former president will appeal Engoron’s decision.

“We respectfully disagree with the court’s decision,” Habba said in a statement. “All documents responsive to the subpoena were produced to the attorney general months ago. The only issue raised by the attorney general at today’s hearing was with an affidavit submitted which copied the form mandated by the attorney general. This does not even come close to meeting the standard on a motion for contempt and, thus, we intend to appeal.”

Earlier this month, the Soros-funded attorney general asked Judge Engoron to hold Trump in contempt after he missed a deadline for providing the documents and said Trump’s attorney had even objected to the terms of the subpoena weeks after the judge found it to be valid.

“Mr. Trump’s purported ‘response’ violates the Court’s order; it is not full compliance, or any degree of compliance, but simply more delay and obfuscation,” James’s office wrote in its politically-charged motion for contempt.
Trump’s attorney Alina Habba told the court that a search for any relevant documents in Trump’s possession found that they were all under the control of his company.

Elon Musk has inked a deal to buy Twitter for $44 billion and turn it into a privately owned company. But does that necessarily mean he will return free speech to that platform?

Maybe a better question, posed by J.D. Rucker in his latest column, asks:

“Do conservatives even care anymore? What will this do to other platforms who have established themselves as alternatives. We'll be watching.”

Rucker notes that Musk tweeted soon after the announcement that he hopes his critics stay on the platform.

He writes:

“Musk claims to be a free-speech-purist, contending that any perspectives that are not illegal should be allowed on the platform. That means allowing people like Donald Trump, Laura Loomer, and other ‘canceled’ accounts to be unbanned.

“The left has been preemptively addressing the purchase by pushing for government intervention to censor ‘misinformation’ on public platforms. They claim that the internet in general and social media in particular need to have government controls over them. Both Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton have spoken in favor of censorship since Musk announced his intention to buy Twitter on April 14.”

But, as Rucker points out, the biggest challenges lie ahead with pressure from Apple and Google, who control the app stores where people download apps onto their cellphones.

Rucker writes that Twitter could face the same blockade that forced Parler to come to heel last year.

“They will try to force Twitter to continue to censor by threatening to take down the popular mobile apps if Twitter doesn't stay in line with the approved leftist narratives.

“We will see how this new era of Twitter manifests. For most on the right, this seems to raise hope that the days of censorship on the platform are over. Can Elon Musk save Twitter from itself?”

We will soon find out the answers to all of those questions.

Social credit scores as we’ve reported many times before are all about forcing compliance with the state-mandated, corporate-mandated narrative, whether it be about election integrity, vaccines, transgenderism, or any other issue. You must comply or you lose your ability to function in society.

The Gateway Pundit provides the following example.

“If social credit scores were in full effect in the United States and you were to donate money to a company like the National Rifle Association or buy stocks in oil – pretty much anything deemed far-right or environmentally damaging by the establishment – your score would take a hit. Too many hits and, you guessed it, there goes your purchasing power.”

Under such a system, which is already in place in China, there is no such thing as individual rights or free speech. This is the system that the World Economic Forum wants to introduce into every Western nation, including the United States.

And they will use Covid-19 and other “crises,” to get it implemented.

Ultimately, the World Economic Forum says you will “own nothing and be happy.”

Now, in steps Italy, which has volunteered itself to be the first Western nation to give the social credit scoring system a test run.

Reports the Gateway Pundit:

“Italy announced the rollout of its new rewards-based program that aims to modify people’s climate change behavior by assigning a score based on their compliance – the first program of its kind in the EU.

“The program will kick off its pilot starting in the fall of 2022 in the large metropolitan city of Bologna. Citizens who comply with the radical climate change agenda by displaying ‘good behavior,’ such as correctly recycling or using public transportation, will be rewarded with cryptocurrency and discounts to local retailers, according to local newspaper Bologna Today.

“Enrollees will be given a ‘smart citizen wallet’ where their rewards can be accessed. The higher one’s score, correlating with good behavioral changes, will allow them access to more benefits.

“At first, enrollment into the social credit score will be optional, however, there are justified concerns that the program will become mandatory in the future, not unlike the dystopian vaccine passport which has become a staple of everyday life in the EU.”

Missouri Attorney General Eric Schmitt said Monday that his office has obtained a temporary restraining order blocking the Biden administration from lifting Title 42, a public health order that has allowed the federal government to quickly expel immigrants since March 2020 on the basis of there being a pandemic.

Even as the Centers for Disease Control is fighting to keep Americans masked on airplanes, trains and buses, it announced earlier this month that it would terminate Title 42 on May 23. It stated that the order "suspending the right to introduce migrants into the United States is no longer necessary" due to "an increased availability of tools to fight COVID-19." 

But the temporary restraining order granted Monday prevents the CDC and the Biden regime from canceling Title 42 before a hearing can be held on May 13. This hearing will determine the fate of Title 42 as a public health order.

The lawsuit was originally filed by Missouri, Louisiana and Arizona in the U.S. District Court in Louisiana.

Meanwhile, a group of Republicans went down to the southern border Monday and announced they have drafted a bill that needs a few Democrats to cross over and support. If passed, the bill would keep Title 42 in place.

One of those on hand at the border was Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene, and she spoke with a local reporter. Here’s what she had to say.

According to the U.S. Constitution, every citizen has the right to keep and bear arms. But depending on where you live, you may never be allowed to use your firearm to protect your home or your person without facing immediate legal repercussions.

Soros-funded prosecutors await in many cities, eager to arrest and prosecute any American who uses a firearm in the act of self defense.

We feel confident in saying that will not be the case in Santa Rosa County, Florida, where the local sheriff is laying out the ground rules on home invasions. And let’s just say they aren’t very favorable to the intruders.

The sheriff is encouraging residents to take gun safety classes and declared they are "more than welcome to shoot" intruders.

Sheriff Bob Johnson made his pro-“stand your ground” comments last week after Brandon Harris, 32, allegedly broke into several homes in Pace, Florida.

The sheriff said police first interacted with Harris when he was 13 years old, and since that time he has been arrested no less than 17 times.

“He just can't seem to get the picture that crime does not pay," Sheriff Johnson noted.

Harris broke into multiple homes on Wednesday.

Sheriff Johnson said: “Probably 20 deputies get there, the dogs are out, and he's jumping fences and breaking into houses as he goes. One of the homeowners, he was breaking into their house, and they shot at him. So, he continues to run, we finally corner him in a house that he broke into on Tom Sawyer and we cornered him in a bedroom.”

Johnson said that while investigators do not know who shot this career criminal, the gunman would not face charges.

Even if sending arms to Ukraine is justified, how much is too much?

According to a report by J.D. Heyes for Natural News, the Biden administration is depleting U.S. military stockpiles at a time when the nation is unable to quickly reproduce them.

Heyes argues that America has no vital national security interests in Ukraine.

And yet, Heyes writes, “once again without the consent of the governed, our leaders have involved our country in a fight that does not concern us, and at grave risk to our own military preparedness.”

And according to multiple reports, “the U.S. has been sending billions of dollars worth of supplies and weapons to Ukraine as forces there battle the Russian invaders. One of the most prolific weapons we are sending is the highly effective Javelin anti-tank missile, which reportedly has inflicted heavy losses on Russian armor. And while it’s good to know our weapons are effective, what’s not good is that the Pentagon is running out of them and worse, has no ability to rapidly replace the dwindling stockpiles.”

Meanwhile, Sweden and Finland have agreed to simultaneously submit applications to join NATO  by the middle of next month. 

A Finnish newspaper reported that the Swedish government has expressed a wish to Finland that they apply together in the week starting May 22 and Swedish government sources confirmed the information to Sweden's Expressen tabloid, according to the Daily Mail.

Russia's invasion of Ukraine has led to growing support in Sweden and Finland, a Russian neighbor, for joining NATO.

Though not members, both Nordic countries closely cooperate with NATO, allowing, among other things, the alliance's troops to carry out exercises on their soil.

In other international news, the hard lockdown in China’s largest city of Shanghai is now starting to spread to Beijing.

A few dozen cases of coronavirus are all it takes in China for the government to start clamping down and locking residents inside their homes.

Notice the panic buying was touched off by increased testing. The government can literally create a panic and go into lockdown simply by testing more people for the presence of a so-called virus. This is a license for tyranny that Dr. Fauci and the Covid mob loves to have at their disposal.

The Epoch Times is reporting that special counsel John Durham has issued trial subpoenas for Hillary Clinton’s 2016 campaign, the Democratic National Committee, Fusion GPS, and a Clinton law firm as he continues to prosecute his findings as special counsel, from which he charged cybersecurity lawyer Michael Sussmann, who in 2016 represented the Clinton campaign, with lying to the FBI.

Hillary Clinton’s 2016 campaign, the DNC, Washington-based private intelligence firm Fusion GPS, and law firm Perkins Coie, Sussmann’s former employer, meanwhile, are trying to fend off Durham’s efforts to compel them to hand over previously withheld documents.

The campaign and Sussmann’s lawyers argue that attorney-client privilege should allow them to keep the records concealed.

Durham says his investigation has led him to believe that the Clinton-allied groups played a coordinating role in pushing the false claims, according to the Epoch Times report, which adds that earlier this month, Durham said Fusion GPS “was not primarily providing or supporting expertise relating to legal advice; instead, it appears that the investigative firm’s primary, if not sole, function was to generate opposition research materials that the firm then shared widely.”

Zero Hedge is reporting a story that everyone should already be aware of who regularly watches this newscast, but to hear the quiet part spoken out loud is still a head turner. And it’s the subject of tonight’s commentary.

According to the article, the Rockefeller Foundation’s president, Rajiv Shah, told Bloomberg Television's David Westin a "massive, immediate food crisis" is on the horizon. 

Shah gives a prospective timeline for the global food crisis that could begin "in the next six months." 

Shah is quoted saying global fertilizer supply disruptions caused by the Russian invasion of Ukraine would have an "even worse" impact on the crisis, slashing crop yields worldwide. 

The article states that, “Shah said debt relief and emergency aid for emerging market countries are needed to mitigate the effects of the food crisis. 

“Shah's appearance on Bloomberg is interesting because of the foundation's repetitive talk about the need for the global food supply to be reset to a more sustainable one,” one of the talking points of the World Economic Forum, of which Shah is a proud member, advocating for a 'global reset'. 

WEF founder Klaus Schwab famously said in early 2020, months after the virus pandemic began, "The pandemic represents a rare but narrow window of opportunity to reflect, reimagine, and reset our world to create a healthier, more equitable, and more prosperous future." 

Rockefeller Foundation's managing director of Food Initiative Sara Farley published a note on the WEF's website titled "How to reimagine our food systems for a post-COVID world" outlined the need to "redesign supply chains with nutrition and human health in mind." 

Rockefeller Foundation's senior vice president of Food Initiative Roy Steiner recently said, "the world is spending far too much on foods that are bad for people and bad for the planet."

The terms “health” and “healthier” and “equitable” truly mean different things to different people. The WEF vision for food involves fake meat grown in labs and genetically modified meat and vegetables.

We have seen in the past that liberals and progressives have a very different way of looking at issues of “health” and “safety.” After all, the CDC recently declared white supremacy to be a “public health threat.”

We’ve seen red flag laws used to take away people’s Second Amendment rights under the guise of public health.

Anything the Rockefeller Foundation and the World Economic Forum are involved in must be evaluated under the light of their past records as deceivers bent on global domination and control over all human activity.

Zero Hedge rightfully concludes:

“Shah's timeline for the next food crisis is an ominous warning that elites will use the events as a perfect opportunity to implement their plan to begin the transformation of the food supply system. Meat becomes a delicacy for the rich while the working-poor are stuck eating insects and berries. The great reset is well underway.”
