The United Kingdom’s lone active munitions factory exploded on Wednesday, just two days after a fire erupted at the Scranton Army Ammunition Plant in Scranton, Pennsylvania, the Telegraph reports.

As The Gateway Pundit noted, on April 15th the Scranton Army Ammunition Plant caught fire in Pennsylvania. This is the United States’ primary producer of 155mm artillery shells destined for Ukraine in its ongoing fight with neighboring Russia.

Just two days later, on April 17th, a section of the United Kingdom’s lone munition factory exploded after a single shell went off inside the factory.

The explosion occurred at the BAE Systems munitions factory in Glascoed, Wales.

BAE Systems is the biggest defense contractor in Europe and the 7th largest in the world.

The cause of the explosion at the munition factory is currently unknown, or more likely it is known but is not being released.

According to The Daily Mail, local residents living near the BAE Systems weapons plant were rocked by an explosion they say “felt like an earthquake” at about 10:50 a.m.

The Daily Mail reported that the early indications were that a single shell went off at the factory, which is operated by Europe’s biggest military contractor.

So, two key munitions factories experience explosions and fires within two days, one in the U.S. and one in the UK. And the shells they make just happen to be key to replenishing the Ukrainians’ critical mortar shells in their battle with Russia. This is just coincidence, I’m sure.

The GOP-controlled House voted on Saturday to approve a massive foreign-aid package that decapitates all pretense of being “America first.”

Led by the Republican Speaker Mike Johnson, the House passed three separate foreign-aid bills that will provide funding to Ukraine, Israel and Taiwan, sending the full $95 billion package to the Senate, where it is set to be rubber-stamped and signed by Joe Biden.

According to Just the News, the House voted 385-34 to give $8.1 billion in aid for Taiwan and the Indo-Pacific region, with Rep. Rashida Tlaib, D-Mich., voting present. More Democrats supported the measure than Republicans.

The Ukraine Security Supplemental Appropriations Act was passed 311-112 with one member voting present. The bill contains $61 billion for Ukraine, including $350 million to protect Ukraine’s border with Poland. This is needed to keep Ukrainians from fleeing into Poland to escape the military draft, which sends them into the meatgrinder and certain death at the front lines with a superior Russian military.

This bill was not only anti-American, it’s anti-Ukrainian.

Democrats cheered after it was passed, according to CNN. And some celebrated by raising Ukrainian flags in the House chamber.

The House passed the Israel Security Supplemental with a vote of 366-58, which contains $26.4 billion to aid Israel.

Some of House Speaker Mike Johnson's GOP colleagues have threatened to oust him as speaker if he moved forward with Ukraine aid. He ignored them.

Congressman Thomas Massie, R-Ky., prior to the vote accused Johnson of colluding with Democrats and prioritizing foreign aid over the U.S. southern border. 

Massie told reporters, according to The Washington Post:

“To send $100 billion overseas without reinforcing our own borders shows that we put America last.” 

Massie and Rep. Paul Gosar, R-Ariz., have co-sponsored a motion introduced by Georgia GOP Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene's to vacate the office of the Speaker, while Democrats including Tom Suozzi of New York and Jared Moskowitz of Florida have pledged to save Johnson if that attempt to oust him arrives, according to the New York Post. 

Congressman Andrew Clyde, R-Ga., on Thursday called the foreign aid package that funds the Ukraine war “America Last.”

The Gateway Pundit reports that Virginia Rep. Gerry Connolly, a Democrat, declared on the House floor that “the Ukrainian-Russian border is OUR border” during an unhinged speech.

Connolly was raging at Republicans opposing the aid package to Ukraine before Saturday’s vote.

“Some say, well, we have to deal with our border first,” Connolly claimed. “The Ukrainian-Russian border is our border! It’s the border between depraved autocracy and freedom-loving people seeking our democratic way of life! Do we have a stake in that outcome? Yes. Undeniably, yes.”

The Kremlin responded by issuing a warning that the newly approved weapons package for Ukraine will lead to the “deaths of even more Ukrainians.”

Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said in remarks reported by Russia's state news agencies: “The decision will make the United States of America richer, further ruin Ukraine and result in the deaths of even more Ukrainians, the fault of the Kiev regime.”

Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova echoed this sentiment on Telegram, stating: “The allocation of military assistance by the United States to Ukraine, Israel and Taiwan will aggravate the global crisis.”

As Russia continues to dominate the battlefield in its war with Ukraine, the United States is considering sending more military advisers to Ukraine. 

The advisers would not serve in combat roles, but would advise the Ukrainian military, Pentagon spokesperson Maj. Gen. Pat Ryder said according to Politico. 

Ryder told the outlet:

“Throughout this conflict, the DOD has reviewed and adjusted our presence in-country, as security conditions have evolved. Currently, we are considering sending several additional advisers to augment the Office of Defense Cooperation (ODC) at the Embassy.”

A source told Politico that this contingent would be helping the Ukrainian military with weapons and maintenance.

Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin recently told lawmakers that “We’re already seeing things on the battlefield begin to shift a bit in Russia’s favor. We are seeing them make incremental gains. We’re seeing the Ukrainians be challenged in terms of holding the line.”

Anti-Israel protesters at Yale University tore down an American flag as they occupied the campus in what Jewish students have called an act of intimidation against them and against the university.

The video circulated on social media on Saturday and Sunday, with kaffiyeh-clad activists whooping and cheering as they tore down the Stars and Stripes.

Many anti-Israel protesters also hold anti-American views, and have also targeted Christian symbols.

The Yale Daily News reported that more than 500 protesters gathered in the university’s main plaza, and at 12:18 a.m., protesters announced that no arrests would be made.

There were also pro-Israel counterprotesters present from around 11:32 p.m. to around 12:50 a.m. time, largely remaining on the plaza in front of Woodbridge Hall. At peak, about 25 counter-protesters were present.

An organizer of the encampment, who requested anonymity due to safety concerns, told the News that the group will be staying on the plaza overnight and reiterated that they would continue their encampment until Yale meets their demands for disclosure and divestment from Israel.

The Jerusalem Post reported that a Jewish student had been jabbed in the eye with a flagpole and that the Yale protesters were holding signs honoring a dead Palestinian terrorist who had kidnapped and murdered an Israeli.

Anti-Israel protesters at Columbia University, another Ivy League school, have also occupied campus illegally. According to video captured by the Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI), the Columbia demonstrators have shouted pro-terror slogans.

Longtime Golf Channel “Big Break” host Stephanie Sparks has died unexpectedly at the age of 50, according to Yahoo News.

No cause of her April 13 death was listed in a story about Sparks' death on the NBC Sports website.

Born in Wheeling, West Virginia, Mary Stephanie Sparks was an All-American collegiate golfer at Duke.

She won the 1992 North and South Women’s Amateur at Pinehurst and in the summer of 1993, rattled off victories at the Women’s Western Amateur, Women’s Eastern Amateur and the West Virginia State Amateur.

Sparks represented the U.S. on the 1994 Curtis Cup team and had a brief professional career that was plagued by injuries. She began her pro career on what’s now the Epson Tour and played only one season in the LPGA in 2000 before chronic back pain ultimately ended her career.

Sparks played the role of three-time U.S. Women’s Amateur champion Alexa Stirling in the 2004 movie “Bobby Jones: Stroke of Genius” opposite Jim Caviezel.

Dave McCarty, a former first baseman and outfielder for the Boston Red Sox who was a 2004 World Series champion, has died suddenly and unexpectedly of a heart attack. He was 54 years old.

McCarty died on the morning of Friday, April 19 “due to a cardiac event” in Oakland, California, the Red Sox shared in a release.

McCarty's death comes just over a week after he joined his former teammates at Fenway Park on April 9 to toast the 20th anniversary of their championship and to pay tribute to the late Tim and Stacy Wakefield.

McCarty, a Houston native who attended Stanford University, played for seven teams (and in 630 games) in the MLB between 1993 and 2005.

He was selected by the Minnesota Twins in the 1991 First-Year Player Draft, before playing for the team from 1993 to 1995. From there, he joined the San Francisco Giants in 1995, Seattle Mariners in 1998, Kansas City Royals in 2000, Tampa Bay Rays in 2002, Oakland A’s in 2003 and the Red Sox in 2003.

He spent two seasons and 118 games in Boston, where he hit five homers during his time on the franchise and hit .286. McCarty played in 25 games during the team's 2004 championship run.

He also worked as an NESN analyst from 2005 to 2008.

Memphis, Tennessee, like many of America’s large and medium-sized cities, continues to have its problems with violent crime.

The latest disturbing event took place at a block party on Saturday night, where two were killed and at least 14 injured in a shooting spree at what some are calling a “420 celebration” involving marijuana.

More than 300 shots were fired, causing participants to flee the scene in panic.

Speaking of messed up American cities, Baltimore Mayor Brandon Scott says too much money goes to white-run arts groups, so he is giving $3.6 million in city-directed funds to black-only arts groups.

Mayor Scott announced last week that “white-ran” businesses were for too long getting public dollars so he is going to divert COVID funds to non-white businesses.

The Gateway Pundit notes that not only is the Baltimore mayor clearly giving away funds in an illegal way, discriminating on the basis of race in how he gives out taxpayer money, but he's also wrong about there being white-run arts museums in his own city. He, a black man, sits on the board of one of the museums he accuses of being run by whites.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation has been cleared by the Department of Justice of malicious intent in an alleged anti-Catholic memo that was sent last year. 

This was the equivalent of the FBI investigating itself, so no surprises here.

Last week, Justice Department Inspector General Michael E. Horowitz sent a letter to members of Congress concluding that investigators did not target traditional Catholics as potential “racially or ethnically motivated violent extremists.”

Last year, the Richmond Field Office put out a now-retracted January memo that characterized Catholics who attend traditional Latin Mass as potential violent extremists.

According to Fox News, the FBI was looking into a particular suspect who had expressed neo-Nazi rhetoric and was a self-described “Catholic clerical fascist.” 

The inspector general's review said the investigation into the suspect was necessary, but it criticized how the memo warned about potential extremism in certain Catholic churches.

The inspector general stated:

“The [FBI Inspection Division] report found that although there was no evidence of malicious intent or an improper purpose, the [memo] failed to adhere to analytic tradecraft standards and evinced errors in professional judgment, including that it lacked sufficient evidence or articulable support for a relationship between RMVEs (Racially Motivated Violent Extremists) and so-called RTC (Radical Traditional Catholicism) ideology; incorrectly conflated the subjects’ religious views with their RMVE activities, creating the appearance that the FBI had inappropriately considered religious beliefs and affiliation as a basis for conducting investigative activity; and reflected a lack of training and awareness concerning proper domestic terrorism terminology.”

The Daily Mail reports that a Russian warship was reportedly ablaze on Sunday after a suspected Ukrainian missile strike.

Video showed a fire purportedly on a vessel docked in the port of Sevastopol after explosions were heard in the Russian Crimea naval port.

One report from Ukrainian Telegram channel Crimean Wind suggested the world's oldest active naval vessel had been hit, the 109-year-old Kommuna, built in the reign of the last Tsar, Nicholas II.

A 315-foot-long salvage ship, it was used during the current war when the Russian navy investigated the sinking of the fleet's flagship, the Moskva, in 2022, according to accounts by the Daily Mail.

There was no official confirmation that the distinctive and historic ship, commissioned in 1915, was hit.

A 13-year-old boy who self-identifies as a girl brutally beat a 12-year-old female student at Pennbrook Middle School in Pennsylvania.

One girl who said she was “second on his hit list” told the school board that she had begged for help FIVE HOURS before the attack, but teachers blew her off and did nothing.

The boy repeatedly beat the girl in the head with a Stanley metal mug. 

The attacker was a boy who was allowed by school authorities to use the girls’ bathroom, but the attack apparently happened in the lunchroom. Two girls were on this mentally disturbed boy’s “hit list.” Here is a firsthand testimony of the girl who was second on the list and saw the attack on the other girl in the lunchroom.

According to Fox 29, the 13-year-old boy is facing charges for what police are calling an unprovoked attack against a classmate.

The brutal incident broke out around 1:15 in the afternoon. The school was placed on a “hold” according to administrators, while they worked to bring calm to the situation and as law enforcement and medics proceeded with assistance.

Parents were, as expected, furious and flocked to the school board meeting last Thursday night to voice their concerns about the safety of their children.

The school officials have been lying about just about everything about this case. They are saying the school was only locked down for 8 minutes, when it was actually 28 minutes. And they’re oh so careful of not using the true pronouns for the attacker. He is a boy but they repeatedly referred to him as a girl, feeding and affirming his mental illness. This type of bizarre activity and denouncing of scientific facts is going on in schools across this country. And as you can see in this case, they’re creating a very unsafe environment in which mentally unstable children are encouraged to act out their worst possible actions. There’s no adult in the room to talk sense into them and right their wrongs. No society can survive this type of insane denial of reality. This must stop, or Western civilization will collapse.
