Dan Caldwell was escorted out of the Pentagon on Tuesday for “an unauthorized disclosure,” according to Reuters.

Details of the unauthorized disclosure remain unclear.

According to Reuters, this comes after a March 21 memo ordering a Pentagon investigation into leaks ordered by Pete Hegseth’s chief of staff.

Caldwell, a senior advisor to Pete Hegseth, was placed on administrative leave for “an unauthorized disclosure,” the official said, speaking on condition of anonymity. The decision has not been previously reported.

The official said the investigation remains ongoing.

One of the key architects of the Trump administration's campaign to slash foreign aid has been fired from the State Department after less than 90 days on the job, according to the WSJ, citing US officials.

Pete Marocco, who oversaw the closure of USAID and briefly led the foreign-assistance mission at State, worked closely with Elon Musk's Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), yet at times clashed with Secretary of State Marco Rubio according to the report.

The WSJ quoted an unnamed senior administration official stating:

“Pete was brought to State with a big mission, to conduct an exhaustive review of every dollar spent on foreign assistance. He conducted that historic task and exposed egregious abuses of taxpayer dollars. We all expect big things are in store for Pete on his next mission. He is no longer at State.

According to the report, Rubio and Marocco had disagreements over the scale and implementation of foreign aid cuts, with Marocco advocating for far deeper cuts, while Rubio and team pushed to keep several programs running.

California Democrat Congresswoman Laura Friedman has admitted House Democrats are coordinating every single week with far-left state attorneys general to weaponize the justice system against President Trump and his America First agenda.

Speaking to voters, Friedman bragged that House Democrats have established a so-called “litigation working group,” aka “shadow government,” comprised of approximately 75 sitting members of Congress who gather behind closed doors every week to craft legal strategies in conjunction with state AGs, the same AGs who have brought politically motivated lawsuits and investigations against Trump, his businesses, his allies, and his policies.

Friedman said:

“Every single week, we have a litigation working group where a large group of us, and I’m talking maybe 75 members of the House, sit down with the AGs to talk about legal strategy. This is all going on every single week behind the scenes. It is nonstop talk, nonstop introduction of bills and legislation, nonstop being on social media as much as we can without being throttled, without the crazy analytics, and doing all these things.”

Breitbart News reports that Fulani jihadists have murdered more than 60 Christians in a series of coordinated attacks across seven Christian communities in Nigeria as Holy Week begins.

Governor Caleb Mutfwang called the bloody assaults in Bokkos County, Plateau State, a “genocide” in what is just the latest in a years-long war waged by Islamists against Christians across Africa in general and Nigeria in particular.

The latest terror attacks, which targeted villages, left over 1,000 Christians displaced and 383 homes destroyed, according to community leader Maren Aradong.

“These armed Muslim Fulani herdsmen invaded our communities in large numbers, arriving on motorcycles and attacking us,” Aradong told Christian Daily International-Morning Star News.

The attackers, representing the self-described “religion of peace,” also looted food stores and other items, exacerbating the devastation.

The violence is part of a broader pattern of attacks by Fulani militias, who have killed thousands of Christians in Nigeria’s Middle Belt in recent years, often driven by a desire to seize land and impose Islam, as desertification makes grazing increasingly difficult.

Jeff King, president of International Christian Concern (ICC) (persecution.org), condemned the attacks and called for urgent international intervention.

King said:

“The slaughter of over 60 Christians in Plateau State is yet another scene in the long-running play called ‘Nigeria’s genocide against its Christian population.’ The Fulani militias have operated with impunity for almost 20 years, leaving villages in ruins and families shattered. The Nigerian government has never acted in a meaningful way to catch the perpetrators of these attacks or bring them to justice because they choose to ignore them while they plead with the U.S. for more military aid! The global community must hold the Nigerian government accountable to stop the stealth jihad and slow-motion genocide.”

The Gateway Pundit reports that the Trump administration has granted Fast Track designation to a groundbreaking yet highly controversial self-amplifying mRNA vaccine targeting the H5N1 avian influenza virus.

The vaccine, ARCT-2304, developed by Arcturus Therapeutics, is now in Phase 1 trials and has been positioned by federal health authorities as a front-line defense against a potential bird flu pandemic.

The designation, announced April 10, was awarded by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration in partnership with the Department of Health and Human Services and its Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority.

The Fast Track designation from the FDA expedites the review of drugs intended for serious or life-threatening conditions that demonstrate the potential to address unmet medical needs.

Unlike traditional vaccines, the ARCT-2304 candidate uses a self-replicating mRNA platform, meaning the genetic material continues reproducing inside the recipient’s cells to boost production of flu-fighting proteins. Arcturus claims this results in a stronger immune response with smaller doses.

Joseph Payne, president and CEO of Arcturus Therapeutics, said:

“We are pleased to receive Fast Track Designation from the FDA for ARCT-2304. We remain steadfast in our commitment to the U.S. government to develop safe and effective STARR® next-generation mRNA vaccines to protect U.S. citizens from future pandemic threats. This designation from the FDA is an important step forward in our mission to provide protective solutions for global health crises.”

This experimental technology, dubbed STARR® and powered by the company’s proprietary LUNAR® delivery system, allows the vaccine to be freeze-dried and stored in refrigerators, avoiding the ultra-cold storage problems that plagued early COVID-19 rollouts.

China is starting to feel the heat over President Trump’s tariffs.

Xia Baolong, a senior Chinese Communist Party official who governs the regions of Hong Kong and Macao, lashed out at Trump over his decision to impose a 145 percent tariff on goods from the region.

He said in a televised speech:

“The U.S. isn’t after our tariffs but our very survival. The U.S. has repeatedly contained and suppressed Hong Kong … and this will eventually backfire on itself. Let those peasants in the United States suffer in front of the 5,000 years of Chinese civilization. The Chinese people do not cause trouble, nor are they afraid of trouble. Pressure, threats and blackmail are not the right way to deal with China.”

While the remarks did not come from Xi Jinping himself, the tightly controlled nature of the CCP means that this official would have almost certainly have needed Xi’s approval before launching his tirade.

The comments may have been retaliation for similar remarks made last week by Vice President J.D. Vance in which he defended the Trump administration’s policy.

Vance said in an interview with Fox News:

“We borrow money from Chinese peasants to buy the things those Chinese peasants manufacture.”

In response to a criminal complaint alleging that a 24-year-old Muslim man named Aliakbar Mohammad Amin made threats to murder Tulsi Gabbard, the Director of National Intelligence, and her husband, Amin has been arrested and charged.

Acting U.S. Attorney Richard S. Moultrie, Jr. stated in a press release:

“Threatening to harm public officials is a criminal act that cannot be excused as political discourse. Our Office, in coordination with our law enforcement partners, will vigorously prosecute individuals who commit these acts of violence.”

Moultrie stated in the complaint, attaching other evidence in court, that Amin reportedly conveyed threats against Gabbard and her husband by text message between March 29 and April 1.

Some of these threats included the messages:

  • “You and your family are going to die soon” and “I will personally do the job if necessary.”
  • “Death to America means death to America literally, Tulsi is living on borrowed time.
  • “The home you two own . . . is a legitimate target and will be hit at a time and place of our choosing.”
  • “Prepare to die, you, Tulsi, and everyone you hold dear. America will burn.”

Similar threats purportedly made by Amin were also discovered by federal authorities throughout the investigation in his social media posts, including one that showed a firearm being aimed at a picture of Gabbard, and another that showed a firearm aimed at a picture of both Gabbard and her husband.

Later, while carrying out a warrant search of Amin’s residence, federal officials found the firearm.

On April 11, Amin was charged with violating Title 18, United States Code, Section 875(c) in a criminal complaint that had previously been sealed.

After his first appearance in federal court, a U.S. Magistrate Judge ordered him to be held pending trial.

A photograph of Amin has not yet been released by federal authorities.

The director-general of the World Health Organization, Dr. Tedros, announced on Monday that a final draft of a proposed “pandemic agreement” is only one article away from completion.

The WHO has spent much time over the last three years promoting the establishment of a pandemic treaty or other international legal accord to govern the behavior of sovereign countries in the event of another pandemic. The document, initially referred to as the “WHO convention, agreement or other international instrument on pandemic prevention, preparedness and response,” would describe how countries should share relevant medical intelligence and distribute medical supplies and technology such as vaccines, and how to trace the origin of diseases to contain them.

The WHO is now referring to the document only as the “pandemic agreement.”

The group of global diplomats working on the pandemic accord concluded an extended work period this past weekend in Geneva. In remarks on Monday, Tedros commended their commitment and announced that they were closer than ever to reaching an agreement.

It’s worth noting that since President Trump withdrew the United States from the WHO in January, American negotiators were not present during this round of talks.

Time now for our nightly Worldview Report commentary.

The Massachusetts Department of Children and Families (DCF) is under fire for taking custody of five children after a pediatrician reported their parents for allegedly refusing to vaccinate their nine-month-old baby due to their religious beliefs.

LifeSite News reports that the homeschooling parents, Isael Rivera and Ruth Encarnacion, were later arrested for “familial kidnapping” last month when they fled to Texas to escape the DCF.

The department launched an investigation into the family in February, after their pediatrician filed a 51A child “neglect” report when the parents declined vaccination for their baby boy on religious grounds. Massachusetts allows religious exemptions for child vaccination.

“The doctor said if we didn’t vaccinate, he’d have to report us,” Rivera said, according to Boston Broadside.

Encarnacion’s attorney, Kevin Larson, said that there wasn’t “any basis” for the neglect report. “I don’t think a 51A should have been filed in the first place,” he told COMFLM reporter Janet Aldrich, who noted that “the doctor’s appointment said the child was completely healthy” and the baby “just needed the shots.”

The DCF left a notice on the family’s door demanding a home visit, which the parents refused, Boston Broadside reported.

What followed was a dramatic escalation, according to the newspaper. Fitchburg police, at the direction of Leominster DCF allegedly surrounded their apartment, banging on doors and circling the property for up to 30 minutes, leading Encarnacion to hide in the closet with the five children.

The police and DCF came back “in greater numbers the next day,” and the family decided to flee Massachusetts for Texas.

That triggered a nationwide manhunt by local, state and federal law enforcement authorities.

Before the family was reported missing, the DCF filed a “care and protection” petition with the Fitchburg District Court for an emergency order to take custody of the children, which the judge granted. Neither Rivera, Encarnacion, nor Larson have seen that order, Aldrich said.

Larson accused the DCF of having “overstepped their bounds” with the “very drastic steps” the agency took to get the children.

Hopefully this plays out in the courts on favorable terms for this family. What they have experienced to date is way outside the bounds of what anyone in a so-called free country should ever have to endure.

If law-abiding Americans can have their kids taken away from them by the state, what can’t they take away from us?

Is this the “democracy” that neocons and neolibs are talking about when they say they are “defending our democracy?”

If so, I shudder to think what they would define as totalitarian.

That does it for this edition of the Worldview Report. Thanks for tuning in and supporting this broadcast.

Until next time…
