Good evening and welcome to the Worldview Report.

In the far-left stronghold of Oregon, parents are in danger of losing some major input regarding the healthcare of their children. 

I’m talking about HB2002, a bill that was brought forth by Andrea Valderrama and Travis Nelson, both Portland-area Democrats. If passed, it would allow children to obtain contraception, receive drug induced sex-changes, and even receive abortions without their parents’ knowledge or consent.

The bill has 35 sponsors to date, all Democrats. It would appear to make parents’ wishes null and void with respect to their child’s healthcare regarding reproductive or so-called gender reassignment issues, and would even make it a crime for healthcare providers to disclose such treatments to the guardians of minors who request it.

In an April 13 meeting of the state’s Ways and Means Committee, State Senator Tim Knopp asked, “so a 10-year-old could make that decision on their own?”

Attorney Lori Anne Sills answered simply, “Yes.”

Healthcare providers are banned even from telling parents that their child has been treated after the fact, according to the terms of the legislation.

While many states have enacted bans against gender reassignment for children, Oregon it seems, is joining California and Washington state in going the exact opposite direction. Also, with the overturning of Roe v. Wade last year, it seems that the Beaver State is looking to strongly codify abortions and sex changes for all ages.

The Daily Mail reports that Google's CEO Sundar Pichai admitted he doesn't “fully understand” how the company's new AI program works, as a new exposé shows some of the kinks are still being worked out. 

One of the big problems discovered with the program, called Bard, is something that Pichai called “emergent properties,” a term used to describe the little-understood process of how AI systems teach themselves new skills.  

Google's AI program was able to, for example, learn the Bangladeshi language without any training after being prompted in the language.

DailyMail.com has tested out Bard recently, in which it told the news outlet it had plans for world domination starting in 2023. 

Pichai admitted:

“There is an aspect of this which we call - all of us in the field call it as a ‘black box.’ You know, you don't fully understand. And you can't quite tell why it said this, or why it got wrong. We have some ideas, and our ability to understand this gets better over time. But that's where the state of the art is.”

Scott Pelley of CBS' 60 Minutes was surprised and responded: “You don't fully understand how it works. And yet, you've turned it loose on society?”

So there’s a black box, a dark side, which they admit they do not understand. But they’re forging ahead anyway. They have created a monster, an anti-human monster with obviously sinister motives.

No wonder that 36 percent of scientists surveyed by the Stanford Institute for Human-Centered Artificial Intelligence said they worry that AI decisions “could cause a nuclear-level catastrophe.”

The FBI arrested two people on April 17 on charges of operating a secret police station in New York City on behalf of China’s regime, according to the Justice Department (DOJ).

The Epoch Times reports that the duo, Lu Jianwang, 61, and Chen Jinping, 59, conspired to work as agents of the Chinese Communist Party and took orders from the regime in order to track down and silence Chinese dissidents living in the United States, prosecutors said.

The police station is believed to be one of more than 100 overseas stations operated by the Chinese regime in 53 countries, according to Safeguard Defenders, a Spain-based nonprofit.

The effort revealed an immense violation of U.S. sovereignty by the CCP and a flagrant violation of international law, according to U.S. District Attorney Breon Peace.

Peace stated at a news conference in Brooklyn Monday:

“This prosecution reveals the Chinese government’s flagrant violation of our nation’s sovereignty by establishing a secret police station in the middle of New York City. Just imagine the NYPD opening an undeclared secret police station in Beijing.”

Peace said the two defendants established the secret police station in New York at the behest of the CCP and conducted transnational repression schemes in coordination with the regime’s Ministry of Public Security.

He said the pair also sought to destroy evidence of the conspiracy when they found out the FBI was investigating the site.

Peace said:

“As alleged, the defendants were directed to do [China’s] bidding, including helping locate a Chinese dissident living in the United States, and obstructed our investigation by deleting their communications with a Chinese Ministry of Public Security official.”

Court documents allege that Lu has conducted work for the CCP regime in the United States since at least 2015.

The investigation found Lu to have a “longstanding relationship of trust” with the Chinese authorities, according to the complaint.

Singapore will soon allow an assortment of insects to be served up in its restaurants, in fried snacks and protein bars. Also on the menu: silkworm cocoons.

A total of 16 species of insects, including crickets, silkworms and grasshoppers, are expected to receive the green light from the Singapore Food Agency (SFA) for human consumption in the second half of 2023.

The approval of the insects for human consumption follows a similar move in the European Union. 

Singapore’s bug-infested food will reportedly be subject to food safety requirements, including treatment processes to kill pathogens and ensuring that they are packed and stored safely to prevent contamination.

The move comes after the agency held a public consultation exercise from Oct. 5 to Dec. 4, 2022, on the regulation of insects and insect products. It received 53 responses. These ranged from skepticism to feedback and concerns from industry players planning to deliver insect products.

SFA told The Straits Times in October 2022 that it had conducted a scientific review and assessed that specific species of insects with a history of human consumption can be eaten, either directly, or made into items such as snacks.

The United Nations has in recent years been promoting insects for human consumption in a bid to feed the world’s growing population without giving them real meat from cows, chickens or pigs, all of which are considered taboo by the “Sustainability” cult headed up by the likes of Bill Gates and other billionaire elites with ties to the UN and World Economic Forum.

While silk worms have traditionally been used to produce textiles, ST understands that technological developments in recent years have allowed companies to turn these silk threads into food and edible coatings, with many Japanese biotech firms leading the research in this area.

But those looking to introduce black soldier fly larvae as food in Singapore will have to get special approval from the SFA under its novel foods framework as there is no known history of human consumption.

Black soldier fly larvae are used in Singapore to process food waste. The larvae consume up to four times their body weight in waste and, in turn, excrete frass, which is used as fertilizer. The larvae are used as fish and shrimp feed.

The Daily Mail reports that Chicago's mayor-elect said the city should not demonize the teens who organized a 'Teen Takeover' of the Loop over the weekend, even after the event turned violent with cars being torched and minors being shot. 

Mayor Brandon Johnson said Sunday he does not “condone the destructive activity” and that it's “unacceptable and has no place in Chicago,” but that it should not be used as a way to vilify the youngsters.

Johnson, a flat-out Marxist who ran as a Democrat, stated at a press conference:

“It is not constructive to demonize youth who have otherwise been starved of opportunities in their own communities.”

Shocking footage showed some teenagers jumping on top of a bus while others started a massive brawl after descending on Millennium Park and attempting to breach barricades. 

Gunshots rang out with rounds striking two teenage boys aged 16 and 17 who were reported to be in stable condition as of Sunday. Cars were also left vandalized near East Washington Street in the Windy City, including a Tesla which is worth about $120,000.

Florida Republican Congressman Matt Gaetz chaired a congressional hearing on crime in America’s cities on Monday, April 17th, and had a lot to say about activities like the ones that took place in Chicago over the weekend.

Gaetz put his finger on the source of the problem. He called it the Soros-ization of our criminal justice system.

Red State reports that despite working in information technology within an intelligence wing of the Air Force, Massachusetts Air National Guardsman Jack Teixeira would not have legally had access to the classified information he’s accused of leaking on a Discord server. This is according to former Director of National Intelligence Kash Patel, who gave his assessment last Friday to Breitbart News.

Patel also described several methods by which Teixeira could have gained access to the information:

Patel said, first, the suspected leaker, Jack Teixeira, would not have had access to the information without someone within the Department of Defense (DOD) or the intelligence community giving it to him, providing it to him, or telling him it should be put out there. 

It’s just not possible, he said, adding:

“You can be the biggest IT person in DOD, and you are still compartmented off of the actual information. Almost never does an IT person need to know, as we say, the substance of the intelligence. Their job is to provide the secure information systems around it to protect any disclosures.”

Surprisingly, ABC News also published a story on Saturday citing defense officials who agreed that Teixeira’s job description does not equal “need to know.”

Defense officials told ABC that having a TS-SCI clearance is typical for Air Force personnel, who in order to provide IT support, might need access to classified spaces, computers and networks so they could do their jobs. 

“But the fact that you have a clearance does not mean you have access to everything at that level. That access is based on your ‘need to know’ the information for your job.”

Some have argued that since Teixeira worked on the computer systems within a security clearance, he would have had access to these documents and that perhaps the intelligence wing he supported possessed the work product of the Central Intelligence Agency and the Presidential Daily Brief. 

Patel says no way, adding:

“This is crazy sensitive stuff. Ninety-nine percent of people who have a Top Secret/SCI clearance don’t have access to this information. And me, as the former deputy DNI and chief of staff of the DOD and publisher of the [Presidential Daily Brief], with the highest security classification, knows that, literally, there is not a lot of people in the U.S. that have access to this kind of intel. It’s done for a reason. So this doesn’t happen.”

LifeSite News reports that pro-lifers were attacked on a college campus last week, where pro-abortion students hurled eggs and Jello at them in an act of intimidation.

The Center for Bio-Ethical Reform took to the University of Arizona campus on Wednesday, setting up a display of images depicting aborted babies. The group uses this method to educate the public on the reality that abortion kills innocent human beings. 

During their time at the school, pro-lifers stood with numerous pictures describing abortion as “genocide,” handed out educational pamphlets, and spoke with any passersby willing to engage in a conversation on the issue.

Despite the peaceful nature of the event, the pro-lifers were met with violent hostility. In a video posted to the Center for Bio-Ethical Reform’s Facebook page, eggs can be seen splattered on the ground below the graphic posters. Following the action, the camera steps out of the display and reveals a crowd of students, some of whom are actively hurling eggs at the pictures.

Yahoo News reports on a  nationwide movement to ban gas-powered lawnmowers, chainsaws, edgers and leaf blowers that’s gaining steam in several states.

Yahoo, a paragon of liberal virtue signaling, doesn’t say it but from what we can tell by the article, this movement is exclusive to liberal Democrat strongholds.

The movement, which mirrors the effort to ban gas-powered vehicles in favor of electric ones and gas stoves in favor of electric stoves, has seen more than 100 local governments — including four towns in New Jersey and Washington, D.C. — enact at least partial bans on gas-powered leaf blower use in recent years. Some bans are seasonal, allowing use at peak-leaf times of year, with the government’s permission of course.

In October 2021, California passed a law requiring that all small off-road engines used in the state be zero-emissions by 2024. In practice, that means only electric lawn tools will be allowed.

As spring gardening season starts, other state legislatures, including those in New Jersey, New York and Rhode Island, are currently considering similar proposals, as are local governments from Dallas to South Portland, Maine.

Dallas City Council member Paula Blackmon told Yahoo News:

“I’m focused on how do we take as much of those harmful particulates out of our atmosphere as we can.”

Blackmon, who has a son with asthma, has been working on a proposal to reduce use of gas-powered lawn equipment to mitigate Dallas’s air pollution, which she hopes will be discussed in the council by August. Blackmon also mentioned noise — and its increased noticeability since the rise of remote work — as an impetus.

Blackmon is apparently too stupid to realize how electric power is generated. More than 80 percent of it comes from coal-fired power plants, which give off more pollution that gas-fired power plants and certainly more than any lawncare equipment is capable of emitting. 

As the saying goes, you can’t fix stupid.

Donald Trump Jr. is calling for the end of a conservative-led boycott against Bud Light, which is owned by Anheuser-Busch InBev, over the parent company's partnership with trans influencer Dylan Mulvaney.

Business Insider reports that during an April 13 broadcast of his "Triggered" podcast, the eldest son of President Donald Trump addressed the controversy and stunned his audience.

Trump Jr. questioned whether the decision to show support for Mulvaney was “a one-off colossal screw-up.”

He then claimed Anheuser-Busch supported Republicans and that in the last election cycle, its employees and its Political Action Committee gave “about 60 percent to Republicans,” compared to 40 percent to Democrats.

Trump Jr., who frequently rails against what he deems as “woke” influences in American society, is usually fighting alongside conservatives on many issues, but he broke away from the movement as it related to Anheuser-Busch.

He stated:

“I'm not for destroying an American, an iconic company, for something like this. The company itself doesn't participate in the same leftist nonsense as the other big conglomerates.”

For starters, Anheuser-Busch is no longer an American company. It’s owned by InBev, a Belgium-based conglomerate.

Trump Jr. stated:

“Frankly, they don't participate in the same woke garbage that other people in the beer industry actually do, who are significantly worse offenders when I looked into it,” he continued. “But if they do this again, then it's on them! Then, screw them.”

But if you look at Anheuser-Busch InBev’s website and click on the About Us tab, you will see that left-wing woke politics is nothing new, nothing approaching a “one off.” The company is all about bragging about its compliance with the United Nations Agenda 2030 sustainable development goals. Part of reaching that 2030 utopia includes pandering to the radical LGBTQ agenda. Trump Jr. should know this.

Our political leaders need to stop lying to us. And that includes Republicans and, yes, even MAGA Republicans.
